"T'the groun'!" Ledmo called out to Tusk, as he finally closed the distance. He lowered his armored shoulder and slammed into the group of them, trying to step slightly past the runaway and hook his arm around the being's waist, hip tossing him, and whomever was still wrestling with him, to the ground.
Movement: 25' toward the runaway(or any portion thereof)
Action: Knocking the runaway prone(With Tusk, if Tusk maintains his grapple on the runaway. Without, if not. Tusk, I do believe you need to roll another Athletics check to maintain your Grapple against Phaera's attempt to break it(10)? In any case, I believe Tusk can voluntarily fail his check against the Shove action and go down with the runaway while maintaining the Grapple, if he chooses to, and if the shove is successful? DM's discretion, but I believe that's how that would work?) Shove6
Having seen now the wild woman trying to help the fleeing creature's attempt to break free from the half orc, and having heard Tusk's response, Led's brows furrowed and his emerald eyes blazed, as he regarded the runaway severely. "Drop yer 'old on 'er, or I'll smash yer skull inna the dirt...", he growled as he raised his battleaxe.
(If the Shove is successful, and Tusk maintains his Grapple)Led then tossed his handaxe away(10' behind him) and pulled the rope from where it hung at the back of his haversack. " 'Old 'im down. 'Elp me bind an' gag 'im."
Free Action: Interacting with an Object, removing rope from backpack
Not sure my position compared to the rest of the group at this point (i know i am moving faster then most of the group but still feel i'm well without grapple range)draws another arrow notching it aiming it true and sure* "FREEZE!! I will DROP you oblige with their instructions or DIE"
Movement: 35' feet towards the target
Action: notches another aiming it just to the side of the runner hoping to scare him
"attack": 21
(if it hits the runner instead of the ground next to him: 7)
(Just to be clear, I think we need a roll and judgement from the DM prior to any further attacks to see if the runner has been knocked prone. If so, any Ranged attack would be made at Disadvantage, Melee at Advantage, and the DM would need to determine if there was any cover due to the Grapple while Prone.)
The man falls to the ground, Tusk's helping drag him down. The man tries to maintain his grasp on Pheara, hissing something off towards the direction he was trying to run. A small snake, one that Tusk might find very familiar, slithers over and tries to bite Tusk.
Runaway Grapple Maintain Check: 20
Snake Bite Attack against Tusk: 14 for 1 piercing damage. If it hits, Tusk must make a DC 10 Constitution save, taking 4 poison damage on a failure, or half as much on a successful save.
Pheara manages to slip out of the Runaway's grasp. Strorat's arrow flies overhead, narrowly missing the man and Strorat's fellow soldiers.
[Strorat, make a Charisma (Intimidation) check with advantage, since you weren't trying to hit anyone.]

Pheara Wisdom Save: 18
As the grapple releases on her Pheara leaps to her feet and shakes herself free of the confusion with a loud snarl. Looking down at the runaway on the ground she looms over him with her sharp teeth bared and lets out a long low growl before she adds to the chasing Elf's threat. "Stay. You move...then Stalking Tiger By Flowing River of Green tastes snake flesh."
Manon will carefully dig out the root and tuck it into her pack. When she thinks the coast is clear she will crawl toward the thicket that Will pointed out and wait for the others.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Current Characters: Tailine, Tiefling Rogue 2 - Zanoliv
(Since I think the goal here is to restrain the runaway, Tusk, if you want to Ready an Action to Restrain the prisoner, triggered when Ledmo uses the Help action and hands you the rope to tie up the prisoner, I believe that should give you Advantage on the Dex check needed to do so, and that should allow us to get this done in one round instead of two. Initiative order can be inconvenient, sometimes. DM, if that's acceptable, Tusk, you can describe Ledmo's action of handing you the rope and helping tying up the prisoner in your post, if you like. If that doesn't bring us out of combat, I'll skip posting in this round, and pick up on the next one. If that wasn't your plan Tusk, disregard and I'll take my posting after yours, since Pheara has already gone.)
Manon reaches the thicket no problem and the rest of the party joins her soon after, since the lizardfolk in the area have dispersed, at least according to Feldri. Feldri sets the lizardfolk down and removes his gag. Feldri speaks a brief phrase in draconic before turning to face the rest of you and bowing slightly. "Brothers and Sisters, I will translate your words to him so that there is nothing he does not understand."
Draconic (for those who speak it):
"Begin speaking, young one, and you may live."

Tusk feels the Runaway stop struggling. "Fine! I'll answer your questions! Just promise me you'll let me go afterwards! And don't hurt Ouros!" The snake that had bitten Tusk slips up the man's pant leg and reemerges around his neck, hissing at Tusk. Sighing, the man looks at you all. "You guys really suck at fear tactics, I should mention. This is just getting to be too much trouble, and right now, peaceful cooperation seems like my best chance of survival."
Pheara still looms over the runaway despite the fact that he is clearly not intimidated by them at present she is still angry and it is obvious when she speaks to him. "Snake blood want mercy?" She chuckles again, a sound which sounds closer to a growl than a normal laugh. "I have scent now. Pheara smells taint of your blood..." as she says that she spits onto the ground in disgust before continuing "You no get far from us. We follow scent, no matter if you flee, we find."
She crouches down getting her snarling face close to his and bearing her teeth. He can see the faint glistening of acid coating her teeth and can smell the acidic tinge on her breath as she speaks to him now "Pheara knows you watch. Snake blood tells Chieftain all. Or..."
With that her hand darts out towards the snake around his neck and she attempts to grasp it around its neck so that it can't escape nor bite her.

(I'm assuming combat rounds are done)
When the creature stopped struggling, Ledmo helped the half orc restrain it. It's ankles were tied with a foot and a half length attaching them to allow a hobbled walk. It's wrists were tied behind it's back. "Prisoners speak when spoken ta, an' not otherwise. Let this be a remin'er fer ya." And Led shoved one of the oily rags he used to polish his axes into it's mouth, and tied rope around it's head to keep it there. Once they were done, he helped Tusk get the prisoner to it's feet. Led proceeded then to pat the creature down, empty it's pockets and whatever packs or pouches it was carrying on the ground.
Investigation13 (at advantage with the help of the others in the area? If not, just take the first number rolled)
After this was done, he finally looked up at the creature. "Prisoners serve sentences. The info yer providin' will determine yer outcome. Ya'll get a chance t'be providin' some answers, but the one providin' the questions be 'bove my station." Ledmo looked then to the wilder woman and the half orc. "Well, well done ta us, eh? Ya wanna claim 'im? Yer the one's tha' caught 'im, ya shoul' be gittin' the credit fer bringin' 'im in." He looked to the feral woman then with a slight halfsmirk beneath his heavy mustaches. "Besides, I ain' trustin' this one not to be bringin' 'im in alone wit'out tearin' 'is throat out 'tween 'ere an' there." He gestured down to the small pile of belongings then. "Ya don' wanna be fergittin' any a' tha', either. I'm gonna go check on the gnome, make sure 'e's still breathin'." With that, Led turned and began to head in the direction of the infirmary tent.
On the way though, he grabbed up the handaxe he tossed behind him earlier and "Nice shootin', Gold'n Boy..." Led said as he approached the elf sharpshooter. "I might be sayin' it be a bit reckless t'be shootin' in a crowd like tha', but ya 'it e'ery mark true, so I ain' complainin'." He came to a stop before the archer then. "Iffen tha' changes though, an' one a' us goes down on the cause of it, you an' I'll be sharin' more than words, elf." Ledmo shook his head dismissively then. "But yer a Golden Boy wit' tha' bow, sure 'nough. Nice shootin', frien'. An' good 'untin' t'ya." And with that, the dwarf made to walk by the elf. But then Ledmo stopped himself, and took a step back to be even with the elf again, though the dwarf kept his look straight ahead to where he was going after. "One more thing. Don' be usin' my tongue at me 'n the company a' those who don't know it, elf. You and I, we ain' got no secrets t'be keepin' from these good folk." Led did send a sidelong glance toward the elf then from beneath his heavy firey red brows. "Besides, yer accen', it's just... well, it's jus' terrible." Ledmo said with a halfgrin curving under his beard up at the elf and a jester's wink shot his way, before he continued on toward the infirmary tent to see how the gnome was doing.
As the dwarf smirks at her Pheara struggles through his heavy accent which confuses her a lot as she tries to take in what he says. She understands just enough to roughly get his meaning and gives him a feral grin back before turning back to the prisoner and letting out another low growl.
Tusk grabs the man firmly. You... you are in trouble. You don’t mess with me. Or anyone else. (Woul Tusk know where to put him. If not, tusk says Let’s take you to Greensparrow.) tusk proceeds to bring him to the jail/greensparrow.
As the Half-Orc lifts the runaway and begins to move him Pheara sticks with them, staying by the runaways side and watching him closely at all times. As they start to move she shifts back into her normal form, the exaggerated savage features and fur disappearing back into her. As they pass by the spear she had discarded she would swoop down and gather it back up into her grasp.
*looks down at the dwarf as he passes by and gives me the talk* "My shots are true, and be happy its you I choose to communicate with.... and wait my accent is dead on...." *draws one last arrow and keeps an eye on the runner ready to draw and shoot at a moments notice of him trying to flee again waiting til the escort has returned him to camp before sheathing my weapons and follows behind them quarterstaff in hand as i keep about a 5 foot distance behind the group*
Pheara's actions make the man's eyes go wide. "Wait, please, he's just my-" The man is cut off as Ledmo shoves the rag in his mouth. Once Ledmo begins to rifle through his pockets, the man rolls his eyes and lets out a muffled sigh. Amongst the man's gear, Ledmo finds a vial of snake venom, likely the same that felled Corrin, enough rations for three days for one man and possibly a small snake, and several foreign-looking coins. The coins are the most notable, as the Kingdoms of Light, which formed a Confederacy, had standardized their currency. The only other thing of note wasn't in the man's pockets, but rather, welded to his back. Tusk is the first to feel it as he moves the man around so Ledmo can search him. A small, hard thing was embedded into the man's back, right between his shoulder blades. Lifting up his shirt, Ledmo first notes the green scales that replace the man's skin from about the navel down. Then he notices the silver plate welded into the man's skin. The silver plate is no more than 2 inches across and 3 inches tall, inlaid with a dull emerald. This man is, without a doubt, a yuan-ti.
Since the camp isn't equipped to handle prisoners at the moment, Tusk drags the prisoner to Greensparrow, with the rest of you in tow. You catch a glimpse of Corrin being carried into the medical tent, still unconscious.
