Sildar follows Mulligan as he carries the ruffian, back to the Town Hall and the cells in the cellar. The other man is still there, asleep, but waking up as the unconscious man is placed into the second cell. "Wot - Randall?" he cries in surprise. "You idiot!" He sneers at Mulligan and Sildar. "Just itchin' for trouble, are ya? You'll find out soon enough," he says with a huff.
After securing the second man, Sildar heads back upstairs. He glances around at everyone. "Well, things are looking up, I think. Let's hope it continues," he says. "If you'll excuse me, I've still got some things to take care of, and it's getting late. I'm sure you want to get a good night's sleep in before your early start tomorrow." He walks to the exit and stand near the doorway. "Hopefully the rest of your night will be uneventful," he says, as he motions for the party to exit.
Mulligan pretends to try and hold back a laugh. "Randall? Your name is Randall?"
He turns to the newly captured Redbrand. "Don't worry Randall, we don't need anything from you. Your buddy here has already told us all about the manor."
While we were walking about town and if they're not out of the way, i'll pick up a dozen green olive-sized stones from the ground and put them in my backpack. 3 of them in my pocket.
Raya's holding back a laugh at Mulligans comment. "pfff, Randall"
As we leave and are out of earshot of the Town Hall, i tell the group "I've heard the manor is where the Redbrand are stationed, or from, or whatever. is that where we're headed tomorrow? where should we meet?"
As always Ajax is quite talkative and quite stern, maybe a little less because of the ladies presence
First of all let me tell you that this task is not to be taken light-harted: blood and wounds will be part of the game, so, you are welcome but be sure you really want to do be in this, anyway from the look of you and your weapons you seem pretty ready...
As I was saying, before tomorrow I wanted to do something: we have been told by the innkeeper that these Redbrands are going to search for us and they are currently patroling the streets...in pairs. My plan was to hide at a specific crossroad, our little firend, Kyanite here, can create illusions of himself as a bait and everytime a pair of them passes:ZAC! we attack them by surprise...actually...actually they don't know about you two! if you feel brave enough...you two could be the on the street and signaling us they are coming...I don't know...with a verse of a song, with a specific sound...
All in all we are 5 against a couple of them per time: the more we face today, the less we face tomorrow, and in superiority... what do you all think?
OOC: OK, SO, LET'S DECIDE: SLEEP OR AMBUSH (AT LEAST ONE)?
"I don't mind getting my hands dirty. It'll give us some practice before tomorrow. As long as it doesn't take long." Raya cracks her knuckles then readies her scimitar.
"I can be lookout and send a Message to you" Pointing at Ajax "When they near the crossroads."
Remember the red X I put on the map? We hide behind the house there: the two new girls and Kyanite image walk around there until some redbrands show up. If none shows up we repeat the same plan but a little more close to the town center, if even the second time none shows up we must decide:
A) we go to sleep
B) the girls enter the inn where the redbrands hang out and signal by the window when a few of them are going away
Assuming we're going along with the plan, Raya will walk around the streets trying to stay within 120ft of those behind the house. She will pretend to be be looking for something that dropped close to the house.
She'll try to spot any redbrands and send a Message to Ajax when she sees something.
Perception 12 (1d20 +4). To see if i recognize a redbrand if they approach
Raya, you wander around the streets in the near dark, lingering beside the house Ajax directed you to. You skulk about for about 30 minutes or so, waiting. You hear the crunch of footsteps on the path, but when you look, it is merely a man clearly heading home after a long day.
Raya waits at the crossroads, partially hidden in some bushes off to the side. This late in the evening, the road is mostly deserted. A few men wander past, but each time Raya is disappointed to see that they are just local town folk heading about their business.
OCC: RL is killing me this week, between work and some virus at home. Continue without me, and I will catch up. Send me a PM if combat and I am needed. Sorry.
Mulligan follows Sildar into the jail. Is the other Redbrand still there?

Ajax looks at the new elf
She is nice after all...

((So what's the plan? You're going to have the new additions wander around town as bait? Or you're going back to the inn to sleep?))

I don't think we should risk getting too close to the inn. If the first two tries don't work, I say we sleep and prepare.

Raya Message's Ajax. "I don't see any Redband so far. Do you still want me to look around?"
Ajax feels strange when he heras the voice of the girl in his head, never happened before! He would have screamed for witchcraft if not alerted.
Hoing he can reply in the same way
"let's just hope the next crossroad where it is easy to hide, if not we go to sleep"
,
We head to the second crossroads. This time Raya finds an area to hide that's within range and will Message Ajax if any redband approach.
She waits patiently. Stealth 22 (1d20+3)
Perception: 21(1s20+4)
IF she doesn't see anything within 30 mins she'll message Ajax "Hey, Raya here. There's um, no one coming and it's getting pretty late"
