Ajax: You step on a large twig and as it snaps, you begin to fall forward. Though you are initially startled, you quickly find your balance and manage to avoid falling into the pit trap before you. The pit is about 6 ft wide and 10 ft deep.
You all avoid the trap Ajax has so helpfully found. You continue following the trail, and after about another mile, you come across a large cave in a hillside. A shallow stream flows out of the mouth of the cave. There are a number of dense thickets of brush, but you can faintly make out a path on the right hand side of the stream going into the cave.
The party is able to move through the underbrush stealthily. Pausing about 30 ft from the mouth of the cave, you can see only a short way in, as there doesn't appear to be any light sources inside that you can detect. What do you do?
Kyanite: When the others are in position, Kyanite will cast Minor Illusion to make a medium thumping in the woods, similar to a tree being chopped down.

Ajax starts to swear aloud but holds himself, he signals the pit to the others and then says:
”maybe it is better if somebody else goes forward, you know, I am quite clumsy with the armor and all...”
,
Odo shrugs, "I can take a turn if you want..."
Kyanite looks at the pit, and shakes his head. "Well, nothing says stay away like a deadly trap. Guessing we are on the right path")
