Watching the head of the ghoul drop to the floor, Utar rushes over to help Neya out of the water. Plunging a hand into the murky depths, he fishes around, trying to grab onto the monk.
(OOC Happy to be guided by the DM on this check. I thought athletics maybe, but if I'm unsighted do I need disadvantage, or is this more a dexterity thing?)
The blinking underwater light, whatever it may be, produces another shadow from Neya's perspective. It is Utar's hand poking through, offering her a way out. She reaches and grabs it. Graxx and Utar pull and Neya surfaces, safe but more than just a bit damp.
Praxx still needs to fully cross (lower DC acrobatics check). Otherwise, everyone is on the other side of the sinkhole, along with the streak of blood leading into it. The closed door of beaten brass leading further into the caves is just 10 feet away now.
"Thank you. I thought I saw something down there. Drazzim, Utar, did either of you see anything like a rat when you were down there?" Neya asks as she starts wringing out her hair and clothes.
"It has to be dead right? I mean, rats can't breath underwater?" Graxx says worriedly.
Graxx then looks to Neya. "Can we use that grappling hook of yours to go fishing for it? Or maybe we can tie the rope around me and I'll grab it and you all pull me out?"
Utar shrugs his shoulders, "Here's hoping my friend. I would rather not tangle with another so soon, especially since something awaits us at the end of this tunnel."
"The grappling hook would help in fishing it out... If it wasn't down there as well, thanks to that fantastic toss I gave it." Neya said, laying thick sarcasm on the word "fantastic."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(OOC: I'll count Utar rope handling as the help for the first roll. Here's a second investigation roll for Graxx: 2)
Graxx dives in and uses the blinking light, which is now dying, as a guiding point for his search. His left hand reaches for a roundish object next to the source of light. His right hand for the source itself. He also manages to conclude that the bottom of this sinkhole is full of jagged rocks, and manages to avoid them while kicking his way back up. Graxx cannot find the grappling hook that was lost in there.
Before he can fully emerge, a loud splash announces Praxx's arrival to the underwater trap. Graxx reactively scoops the gnome and brings him back up with him.
Out of the water, Graxx shows his finding to the now all-wet group. The first is without a doubt the half-eaten head of a humanoid rat, much like Rorin's when he lost control and attacked the group back in the East Tower. The second one is a beautifully crafted golden mace, though it is dirty from being in the sinkhole for however long. It is obvious that the mace is magical in some way.
"Oof! What a ghastly way to go..." Neya says, looking at the head. "Considering who this likely is, did his Black Fist companions just assume he would be fine and went on without him?"
Utar spools the rope together absently, more for something to do than anything else. He stares at the severed head, transfixed.
"We fought that boy and barely put a mark on him. What took that things head clean of like that? If his Black Fist friends didn't know about the whole rat thing before, surely they'd help?"

Utar nods. "Unfortunately part of me thinks we should really fish it out. It was furry, but large. Almost similar to the rat man we fought."
"It has to be dead right? I mean, rats can't breath underwater?" Graxx says worriedly.

"Welp. I guess I could use bath anyway. If I happen to feel your hook I'll bring it back."
Graxx sets his greatsword and his backpack down. He then removes his rope, ties it around his waist and leaves the other end on the ground.
OOC: What type of rolls will we need for this dip in the water?
(OOC: Give me an investigation check and a survival check.)
(OOC: Depending on what others are doing, they may be offering Help.)
Utar will take up the other end of the length of the rope and sets himself ready to haul Graxx out.
