Dekhan takes his AOO on S7, Talon whiling out blindingly fast. Attack: 23 Damage: 8 in almost the same motion he brings the blade around attempting to shear off S6 Attack: 19 Damage: 7 Dekhan barely manages to keep his feet, not even noticing if his attacks were successful, due to his blood loss.
Dekhan's blade is a blur, as the two stirges are sliced apart and fall to the tunnel with a soggy thud, the blood-filled remains splattering the ground nearby.
Stirge one, a little wary of the blade, opts to make its attack on Strix:
Attack: 24 Damage: 7
It latches onto his shoulder and begins to drink.
Stirge four makes an attack on Scupper, but gets nowhere near:
Woozy from the loss of blood, Dekhan is buffeted by the heat from the blast. He stumbles back then turns and smiles a punch drunk smile at Vaz. That’s the spirit!

Strix, your shrieks echo down the corridors of the mine, but in your flailing you do manage to grab hold of the stirge attached to you and slam it twice into the tunnel wall; it pops and blood and goo cover your hand. You rush to Varinth's aid, but your hand is too slimy and you cannot seem to grab it properly.
The last remaining stirge, attached to Varinth, drinks long and deep: Varinth, you take 7 points of slurping damage.
With that, the last remaining stirge, sated for the moment, detaches itself and attempts to fly away. Both Varinth and Strix can take Opportunity Attacks if you wish.
Combat is over. The echoes of the battle sounds, notably Strix's shrieks, resound through the cave but then die down. The remains of the stirges are red splatters here and there.

Dekhan gives a self deprecating laugh, sending a fresh spurt of blood from the wound at his neck. I think you may be right, Scup. Dekhan bites the cork and pulls it out of the potion and drinks it in one go. potion of healing5 feeling quite rejuvenated But knowing he must stand between his friends and danger, Dekhan lays hands on himself, using 10 points from his lay on hands pool, bringing himself closer to full health. A short rest wouldn’t go amiss for me, what do you say, lads?
((Sorry for the delay guys, thanks for managing Steve))
As his bonus action Incantis gives Dekhan bardic inspiration, teetering a little at the loss of blood.

Varinth and Scupper are up.
Varinth growls at Number 9 as he throws a Fire Bolt at it. Attack: 5 Damage: 3
Varinth, your mote of fire misses the stirge by a mile; it impacts the cavern wall having only just missed Dekhan by half an inch.
Woozy from the loss of blood, Dekhan is buffeted by the heat from the blast. He stumbles back then turns and smiles a punch drunk smile at Vaz. That’s the spirit!
Feckin. Blood. Suckin'. Beasties!
Scupper steps back five feet and fires an arrow at the one that was on top of him
Attack: 17 Damage: 4 sneak attack damage 4
Scupper, as you step back the stirge takes its Opportunity Attack and attempts to go for your neck: Attack: 8 Damage: 5
... but it misses. Luck is not with the creature today, because your arrow does not miss. Stirge four is dead.
Round Three:
A: Strix
B:
C: Stirge Nine
D: Dekhan and Incantis
E: Stirge One
F: Varinth and Scupper
Strix is up. Two stirges remain; stirge one has glommed onto Strix and is drinking deep; stirge nine is stuck to Varinth.
Strix flails about and shrieks trying to get the evil little bastard off.
Attack 14 for 7
Bonus 7 for 7 (if he manages somehow to kill the first stirge he'll move to attack the other)

The tip of Talon lowers to the ground as Dekhan slumps against the wall. Good work, everyone! Now, does anyone need healing?
"Yes. You, ye daft prick."
He pulls one of the potions from his cloak and hands it to Dekhan.
"Quaff that and sit a spell. May as well take a short rest here...catch a second wind and I'll get te know these boots, like."
(Scupper will attune since he's not wounded - boots of striding and jumping?)

Varinth slumps against a wall.
Fecking Mother Plucking Batskito Bastard! He bit me in the exact same spot. ARGAL WEPT!
Vaz holds his chest wound, already welting badly,as he lobs a small but angry ball of fire in the direction of any of the downed Strige.
FECKERS!
Scupper walks over and hands his other flask to Vaz...
"It ain't wine, lad, but it'd do you right. Yer bleeding like a stuck pig."
(Scupper gives Vaz other healing potion)
If we take a short rest we can heal up a bit and I can sort anyone who needs it a little more after.
