Varinth gets a little unsteadily to his feet. With the loss of blood it seems that the alcoholic balance has tipped somewhat and Vaz is now a little tipsy.

Varinth, you head to the room where you found the ghouls, with the rest of the party joining you. You all find a reasonably comfortable, though slightly awkward, place to rest amidst the bones that had been picked clean by the undead. Nevertheless, the room is a decent size, with stone bunks, and a good place to rest.

You close the doors and are able to complete a short rest (roll hit dice here and recover any appropriate abilities). Scupper, you can attune to the boots if you wish. If Incantis sends his familiar out scouting, let me know.
Steve, can we retcon that Dekhan didn’t use so much of his lay on hands pool since Incantis is burning a spell to heal him? I feel like in a general discussion of options he would have waited before using them if other options were available.

During your rest, Incantis' familiar moves silently, though slowly, through the nearby tunnels, never straying too far from your location. As you stir and prepare to resume your adventure, Incantis is able to give a brief description of what she found.
To your northwest is a flight of stairs up north, which you saw previously.
To the south, the passage ends in a rock fall which looks to have closed off that route centuries ago; there are two closed doors in that direction.
To the south and then east is a cavern which appears to have some kind of fungal growth; Zhudala only barely poked her head in before retreating.
To the east is another closed door, and a passage leading north which she did not venture down.
Five times during your rest, the now familiar rush of sound and energy passed through you; the sound of rushing water or power that echoes through the caverns, deafening at its height, and seeming to originate somewhere to your north-east.
After hearing the layout of the immediate area Dekhan says I think we should head down the passage with the two rooms and clear them out. We don’t want anything sneaking up and biting us in the ass as we go forward.
