This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Strix focuses on the paperwork, suspecting this is some kind of clerical office (like in the Cloister in Neverwinter) so it's possible there's a map of facility in there somewhere. Maybe even one that won't crumble to dust at his touch.

Scupper, you find nothing on the bodies. Though the undead have not cleaned this room, someone has definitely searched the bodies already and removed everything of value.
Strix, as you search the papers and parchments, you are still unable to speak the language, but what scraps you are able to see before the papers crumble to dust, you get the sense that much of what you are seeing is in columns as well as rows, suggesting figures rather than just text.
As you are interested in paperwork, you also take a look at the large stone counter, and notice an iron strongbox under it, covered in dust, but apparently unopened.
Dekhan, you hear nothing from beyond the western door.
Scupper wanders over to see what all Strix fuss is about... seeing the strong box
Oh good. There's the senseless death I was expecting. How nice of you te offer the added bait of potential treasure. I'll jest help Strix check for traps though I'm sure whatever kills me will likely be some monstrous magic doomsday trap. Made sure it's not a mimic then, Strix? Good. That'd be embarrassing
Dekhan takes his ear away from the western door. Doesn’t sound like there’s anything in here either, lads. Dekhan attempts to open the door slowly and carefully.
Scupper and Strix, you conduct a thorough inspection of the strongbox and are confident there are no traps. Scupper, you set to work with your thieves' tools; it's a difficult lock, one of the most challenging you've faced. It seems these dwarves of ancient Phandelver cared a lot about their money. It takes a few minutes, and during this time, yet another crashing, deafening wave of sound passes through you, rushing to a crescendo and then fading away as the final tumbler turns and *click*. The strongbox door opens.
Inside you find stacks of coins: 600 copper, 180 silver, 90 electrum, and 60 gold pieces.
Dekhan, you also feel the rush of the wave of sound pass through, and wait a moment for it to subside. And then you push at the door...
It swings open without a problem, to reveal a small room littered with splintered stone benches and heaps of rubble; the ceiling has partially collapsed. Amid ruined stone bunks and toppled weapon racks are the bones of several dwarves and orcs.
Varinth, Scupper, Strix and Incantis should also roll initiative, please.
Varinth and Incantis are close enough to see what Dekhan is doing, and will see and hear the skeletons rising, so you are part of the fight from the start.
Strix and Scupper, please roll Perception checks; if you get over 15, you hear and can join from round one, otherwise you will need to wait until something or someone alerts you.

Strix trills quietly to get scuppers attention, then begins checking for any sign of a trap.

Ooc : given he's proficient in Thieves Tools and is carrying, if this isn't a mimic can Strix give Scupper Help to open it?

Dekhan draws Talon, holding it aloft in the room he casts light on it. Then he searches the room. perception 21
Dekhan, you step into the room with your shining sword held up as a torch, and move towards one of the piles of bones.
*creak* *clatter* *clunk*
And the piles of bones begin to rise and move towards you.
