((@Palfatreos, yeah, I'm just getting a check on roughly what we have done to it so far. We've got a second one to take down after this, so OOC, I'm trying to assess what I need to use my spell slots for, and whether to just unload here or to save them for healing to bring people back up and get an action. InChar, Nadrael is seeing this thing taking a pounding and trying to work out how much of a beating these things take, as to whether her spells are better used for damage or defense))
Rufus sinks his rapier into the horror in front of him, and Matthias follows it up with a shot to the head that puts the creature out of it's misery.
(Yah, it's down after the shot. Though I will warn that I'm rolling hp for the monsters, so two otherwise identical monsters won't necessarily have the same health. That said, I haven't rolled for HH1 yet since he hasn't taken damage, so can't tell you yet if he'll have more or less :P)
(With the heal from Nadrael, Sam gets his turn now. Then need a death save from Wilnor unless sam has a weay to get him up too)
(( You're alive Swarmsie / Sam... Just get yourself away from the other horror (maybe attack first, or try to drag Wilnor to safety?). I think we need to retreat here.))
Sam finding himself on the ground again, "Sam not like getting knocked out." As Sam gets back to his feet he sees Wilnor laying on the ground also. "Sam help Wilnor" and with that he will disengage and drag Wilnor back to safety.

The first hook horror climbs over the body of his fallen ally to strike twice at Rufus with his hooks. Unfortunately (for it), with the uneven footing of climbing over the other hook horror, it's aim is off.

Wilnor groans where he lays on the ground as his allies continue to fight the remaining horror. Rufus lands a solid blow, but it's able to shake off most of the effect of Nadrael's spell and matthias' own shot manages to find it's target with a little extra inspiration in the targeting.
Having dragged his unconscious ally away from trouble "I know how you feel." Sam will make his way back to the Hook Horror in the doorway. "It time to end this" (spend one more rage) attack 18 damage 8
Sam steps past his fallen ally now that he's been dragged to safety and moves in to attack the hook horror once more, landing a solid blow.
The horror lashes out at (Sam - 1, Rufus - 2, 2, 1) first Rufus, then Sam with his claws, managing to sneak just past the gunslinger's armor to land a heavy blow, but failing to follow up successfully against the barbarian.

Nadrael burns her last spell and again casts Dissonant Whispers at the HH.
Action: Dissonant Whispers @ 1st lvl targeting HH1. 8 psychic damage, DC 13 WIS save for 1/2. On failed save, HH1 uses it's reaction to run away from me.
(( Can I get confirmation on the damage to HH2? I make it 69 to this point... with a 15AC ))
Seeing her comrades falling, Nadrael realises that they need to finish these horrors sooner rather than later!

((That's cool Vander, don't need to know exactly, just the approximate was all I was after. Seems a worthwhile fight to unload on and survive.))
