Quinn swings the lute over his shoulder and launches at the giant boar. Draws his rapier with his right hand in a swinging motion, striking at the barely standing creature, draws his dagger with his left hand at the same time, throwing the dagger at the sleeping boar less than a sec after striking at the giant boar.

(Quinn prepares to throw a dagger at the sleeping Boar while he takes a swing at the injured Giant Boar with his Rapier, aiming for a death blow... but trips as he does, losing his grip on his Rapier and watching as it scatters away.
However, as if in slow motion, as he falls backwards he decides to just go for it and throws the dagger at the sleeping Boar, nailing it right between the eyes, killing it in its sleep.)
(The Giant Boar takes what appears to be a weakened, half-hearted swipe at Brom.)
Attack: 17 Damage: 13
(The Tusk attack is surprisingly accurate and strong, but Brom's armor just barely manages to save the Goliath from taking some pretty major damage from the sharpened tusk.)
Nate, you're up.
DMs note: So, good example of what happens when you Crit Fail (roll a 1) and what happens when you roll a Natural 20. :)
With the giant boar still on its feet despite its numerous wounds and the pain from the slash across her stomach starting to make her vision go white, Idalie is trying to decide whether or not to risk running with the beast this close and posed to take another swipe at her when Nate's hand latches around her arm. An almost familiar druidic energy flowing through her, soothing the pain away and knitting the wound closed until she feels as good as new. Flashing him a grin of thanks that swiftly fades as the animal goes after Brom, smashing into the barbarian, the gnome makes another attack with her short sword. Desperate to end things here before anyone else gets hurt.
(Idalie's Short Sword attack is swift and precise, putting the Giant Boar out of it's misery for good. As you all stand there, breathing heavy from the adrenaline, you look at each other with pride, having survived your first battle as a group. It is dark and setting up camp for the night seems like an unavoidable choice, as tracking in the dark would be prohibitively difficult.)

With that final strike the last of the two boars is dead and Idalie is surprised to find the night gone dark and cold around them so quickly. Wipes the blood off her blade on the boars fur and then sheaths it. Looking over as the others of her party begin to prepare a little space for them all to camp. Know that continuing tonight just isn't an option no matter how eager she is for the hunt. They need rest and not all of them can see in the dark. Food sounds good as well, her stomach rumbling lightly at the thought of roasted boar. Heads over to Quin at his question, eyeing their downed foe critically. "I might know a thing or two." She replies with a smile, pulling a small but wickedly sharp hunting knife from her belt and kneeling down next to the dead creature. "Though the fact he's already peppered with holes is going to make getting a solid cut of meat a little difficult." Sets to the task anyways, slicing through the tough hide and beginning the process of butchering the animal as best she knows how. ((I'm guessing Nature check: 19 ))
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Viaya Morbrew - Imela: The Adventure Begins - High Elf/Rogue (Level 1)
With the battle finished with his group coming out on top Brom collects his axe that he threw at the smaller boar and put it back on his belt before helping clear the space for camp, and once a place for the fire was set he tossed in his torch for a quick rolling fire.
with the fire now ablaze Omnia grabs her bed roll from her pack and finds a nice comfy spot to bed down for the night, she sets up her space then goes and sits by the fire as she is sat there relaxing she grabs her flask of whiskey and takes a swig from it. she then puts it back into her pocket.
So do we want to take turns in doing night watches i am up for doing a stint if need be

Nate gives an approving nod at Omnia as she mentions the night watches.
"Good idea... I'll take a turn."
Nate will perform a perception check when it is his turn to keep watch to ensure that there are no other beasts or monsters sneaking around for a potential ambush.

"I'll take the third watch" Brom said simply and took the bed roll from his pack but instead of using it to lay down on he used it as a pillow resting on his side.

"I'd love some boar!"
Quinn stands up and dusts himself off, then goes and picks up his rapier.
"You know I could really go for some boar about now"
Quinn says as he is collecting the dagger he threw at the smaller boar.
"I can light the fire if you guy's get some fire wood, also I don't suppose you know how we are meant to prepare this thing would you Perky?"
Quinn says poking at the boar.
