Fang will mention the "weird box things" and how the goblins were moving around weirdly, but otherwise, is just quietly glancing around, already bored and looking for something to do.
''Many scouts have come to me with information, but none have returned with so much information without taking any losses, great job.'' He turns to the elves. ''And about the wizard, I have no idea if she is even alive, and if she is, how would we find her?''
"The wizard eh.. Why are you looking for her? I for one would love to meet a wizard to discuss my situation. If we need to find her, can you tell us what she is like? Or when you last saw her?"
Panavor respond to the dwarf "she went missing after trying to rescue another scout on her own". He then tell the guardian "If it wasn't to long we maybe able to find a foot traill of her if you know sombody in city know where she was last seen"
Fang gives a small pout at the fact no one was recognizing his power again, but upon hearing that someone was taken by goblins, asks, "Huh, why don't we just go beat up more of them goblins? If they have her, why not go get her? If not, we can at least know that she's not there and help that other guy."
''We lost her a few months ago and the only trail we have is that she was trying to get into the same camp you just came from and that the scout also did not return, so her mission probably failed.'' He then chuckles at Fang. ''Not many people around here are as optimistic as you are Fang. That is a valuable quality that can easily be lost here, so you better do your best to keep it. But if you really do want to look for her, go talk to the Cleric, his prayers have rarely worked since we got here, but you lot have already proven yourselves to be pretty special, so I'd give it a shot.''
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Baxthon looks at the Guardian in disbelief. "You are telling me that months ago you lost people going into that camp. Yet you have no idea what the camp looks like, how many goblins resides there, or what they are capable of?"
He gets up from the ground and look at the stuff Fang and he had gathered this day.
"How many people have you lost, and forgot? How come no-one wanted to investigate, or help those that are captured? Just what kind of operation are you running here?!" He almost yells at the last part. The waste of lives, and the complete indifference makes him furious.
(I'd like to see what's going on with this supposed "guardian". Insight: 18 )
The Guardian drives his sword into the ground in rage. "You think I don't care? Ever since we got on this cursed island I was the first person to suggest going back to save someone, but since I am bound here by an oath, the best I could do was organize a group to do the mission for me. I was with the rest of the village when that first group when they left in search for their lost companions, I remember the eagerness in their eyes, as well as the hope in the eyes of everyone else. The next day the disembodied parts of that group rained upon our village, sent by their infernal machine. That was when we knew what position we were in. If you wonder why everyone here lost hope of seeing the sunrise the next day, or of seeing that same sunrise with the people they love, it's because of that. Hope is precious here, it is the only feeling that drives one to keep going, but hope comes at a price that we are not prepared to pay. Baxthon, you ask what kind of operation I am running? I am keeping these people alive, and that includes you.
"I apologize. He's just stressed out after surviving a clash with goblins. We'll go and deposit these scraps with the blacksmith and once he's calmed down we might stop by the Cleric and see if we can't be the answer to his prayers." Daeron ushers the group away and as they get out of earshot he leans in close to Baxthon."Must you always be having these outbursts! We've barely been here a day and you go lashing out at the Guardian. Now I was considering telling you what I have learned, but not if you decide to make enemies with everyone on the island."

"I wont make unnecessary enemies, but i feel lost. I dont know what is going on and it eats me up. I need to know! Maybe i should give the gods another chance to show me guidance." Baxthon calms down and look at the sky.
"It's hard to explain. But me not knowing. It feels like a hunger. A deep unsatisfied hunger. I know what I did today was stupid. I put myself and Fang at risk, and I am sorry for that. I should have listened. But the hunger gnaws at my brain. I can't sleep, my appetite is gone, and my mind is going in all directions. If you know something, ANYTHING, please share it with me." A small tear runs from Baxthon's left eye with his last words. "I feel lost."
Fang is giving a curious look to everyone as they go through that little outburst, and gets pushed along with the rest of the group. "Bye Goldly!" Fang waves back to the Guardian.
Once they get far enough away and Daeron begins berating Bax, Fang gives a confused look to everyone, "...um....what's a Cleric? Also, why is everyone being so sad and angry now? We should be laughing and having food! Food and laughter are fun, this isn't fun." He reaches into his vest and pulls out a random apple he grabbed from the tree he slept in last night, "Here, eat and be happy!" He beams happily, thinking that he just solved the problem to whatever it is that has everyone riled up.
Why did we take these two again? Baxthon is prone to hysterics and Fang is little better than a child. "I'd tell you Baxthon, but at the moment, I have a hard time trusting you to keep your emotions in check." Cruel perhaps, but there's no lie.

With Daeron's words spreads a calm into Baxthon's mind. For a moment he looks at Daeron with a curious face, then nod in acceptance. In a low voice "I understand.. I think it best if I go see the priest now. I don't know what else to do. I trust you will tell me in time" For a moment he doesn't say anything, he just stares blankly into the air.
Then his eyes go big and he gets an excited look on his face. "Actually, I heard earlier that there is a tower nearby, in which a wizard resides. I would put my coins into that person may have some answers to our situation, and may also know what happened to the other magic user? I don't know anything else about this person, but as I'm going to the temple now, I could ask them if they know this wizard and how to get to the tower? What say you?"
This change in mood is almost surreal. From a deep hopeless despair to a person that could take on the whole world with a smile.
Fang will follow along, since no one explained what a "cleric" was to him. He's a little disappointed that everyone seems a little tense, but quickly pays it no mind when he starts snacking on those apples.
Walking through the village, you start to notice how depressed these people are. A lot of people are just standing around, most of them drunk. After walking a bit you make it to the temple. No one is there except for the priest, who is sitting outside.
As they walk through the village, Fang frowns at the villagers, his brow creased with confusion, "Why is everyone so quiet and sad? They should be happy, like me! There's good food to eat and people to fight. What more could they want?" He scratches his head, genuinely at a loss for why anyone would have any reason to feel sad here.
As they come up to the temple, Fang's eyes go a little wide, "Oooohhh! This place looks fancy!" He then spots the priest and loudly asks his party, "Hey! Who's that fancy person over there?"
Food and combat are the only things he thinks about. I'm starting to understand how he got here. Daeron ignores Fang and just heads towards the priest. "I'm sure that you recall Baxthon, here. He heard about a wizard in a tower nearby and was wondering if you knew anything about this wizard, as well as which direction we need to travel in order to get to their tower.
