Baxthon walks to the priest. "Greetings. Yes as my friend here said, i heard that there is a wizard that lives nearby, i wonder what you could tell me about him" Baxthon doesn't care that much that people are sad. He makes a mental note about it, and add it to the pile of questions that is his brain. "Also, I'd like to talk with you again about the gods. See, things has happened, and I feel lost. Perhaps you are right in that the gods can provide me guidance. Can you teach me priest? Teach me to reach out to the gods and maybe get the answers I'm looking for?"
"The day we all got here, except for you, of course, there was a wizard standing on the shore. As soon as we got out of the boat, he was gone. Over the next days we starting sending out our more agile scouts to get an Idea of our surroundings, and when they came back they reported seeing a tower on a hill on the other side of the forest. They could not make it far enough to confirm that the wizard lived there, but the wizard is the only other person who could build something like that. If you need directions, I can guide you, but not for the entire journey. I must stay here to help these people." He then looks at Baxthon. "I must warn you, the gods have not talked to me since I got here, so I can not guarantee that you will reach your objective. Your friends seem to be eager to go on a journey, and what better way to prove yourself to a god?" He then grabs a small blank wooden amulet and hands it to you. "Wear this and focus your prayer through it. If the gods are still watching over us, and they deem you worthy, they will manifest themselves in this."
Baxthon listens curiously as the priest talk about the wizard. Then the is given the wooden amulet. He holds it tight, stares at it for a second, nods towards the priest and pockets it. Then he scratches his head as if trying to solve a difficult puzzle. "If you dont mind me asking. How long time passed since you last saw the wizard?" Without waiting for a reply he continues. "Actually why come here in the first place? People looked miserable today, why not just go home? Oh! why don't we all just go home?" He looks at the group with him, with a look as if he missed something.
'Why did he not ask this question sooner? Why was he willing to sacrifice his life in order to get answers, when all the answers was waiting safely for them back on the main land. He's sure someone back home would be missing him..'
Fang looks confused and curious at everything, "Home? Isn't this home? Good food, nice bed, fun fights, good food. Why would you want to leave?" Fang's eye's widened, as he suddenly remembered something, "Oh right!" He turns to the priest, "Goldly said that I should talk to Cleric, that's you right!? I was supposed to get a blessing thing from you!"
Panavor respond to Baxthon latter question "According to the guardian comming to this island is a one way ticket. I bet desperate people have tried to escape from here, be it in vain, beside how do you wanna return if you don't know where you came from."
After Daeron finish his sentence "Or never, killing or be killed by a stronger opponent would the biggest glory for him. This place is heaven in his eyes."
Fang gives a confused look to both Panavor and Daeron, "Glory? Heaven? Who cares about that stuff?" He pats his own chest then pokes Panavor & Daeron in the chest, "We're here now. We're alive. So why worry. If bad things happen, stop them. If you're hungry, eat. But it is stupid to think to much about things when you have what you need and people to have fun with." He gives a big grin, "Yesterday is yesterday, tomorrow is tomorrow. We're alive today, so enjoy it!"
(OoC: I so badly wanted to quote Oogway's, "Yesterday is history. Tomorrow a mystery. But today is a gift, that's why it's called the present." XD, but sadly, Fang is not that poetic TT-TT)
"Oh yes! The blacksmith! Let's meet back here in an hour!" The Baxthon hurries back to the metal scraps they left next to the guardian, picks it all up and walks towards the Dwarf smiling. Finally he will settle his debth!
''Well, I'm always looking for more scrap metal, so you can always count on selling it to me.'' Gulrigg looks suddenly much less unfriendly as he grabs the materials you brought him into the back of his shop.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Fang, waits outside of the shop, looking around at the other people nearby, trying to see what they're doing and how they're doing. (The townsfolk specifically) His arms are crossed, but his tails seems to hold his chin as in deep thought as he looks around.
Fang, everyone is just standing around and talking, some are carrying food across the village but that's about it. You don't understand why they are just standing there when there is so much fun to be had.
Before leaving Baxthon say to the Blacksmith. "Not many dwarves around here, I hope to grab a pint with you later. Losing my memory, I'd like to listen to a good story" Then he leaves the Smithy going with the others back to the temple.
