"Why not? If we do, then the problem that is making every all sad will be gone!" Grins happily, "Everyone being a miserable is weird, they should be happier! But that's that, come one, let's just go! We're wasting time!"
Fang proceeds to enter the tunnel, confident and reckless as always. (I swear this boy is gonna get himself killed XD)
"Maybe we should proceed with caution. This old mine looks really old, and from these cracks in the wall, I would estimate even a minor explosion would cause this entrance to collapse. This is bad craftsmanship, definately not made by dwarves."
As Fang runs into the mine, "Well I guess we can forget about a sneaking approach. If all hell breaks loose, maybe we can destroy this entrance when we leave?" Then he enters the mine, walking slowly, feeling the wall. Trying to focus on the deep earth. Walking underground in the darkness feels good for him. This is definately not the first mine he is walking through.
Fang, the stairs go down for about 20ft before opening into a 30 by 30 foot room, full of broken crates and piles of rubble from the partialy collapsed celling, you can tell that no one has been here for ages, exept for the few bugs that have made their homes in the rubble, but why? You see 2 wooden doors, one in front of you, and one to the left. At about this time Baxthon walks in behind you, much slower and calmer than you did.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Be careful now, we dont want to be in here when the ceiling collapses." Baxthon is in a mix of 'It feels good to be underground' and 'This is very bad, we are all going to die'.
While waiting for the group to get here, Baxthon will take in the room. And gather his thoughts as to what way would seem the logical path to go in a mine like this. 'What paths would dwarves make..?'
History check to recall lost knowledge, or a 'This feels right/wrong sense' : 8
As that probably doesn't give anything Baxthon will sit down and close his eyes.
"Hey Fang, look at it like this, we find the great wizard, then he can maybe tell you of great monsters on this forsaken island that would be worthy to fight the strong and powerful Fang Wu Kong!! These inbred critters that can't even build a proper mine, is hardly a challenge to you, I say it be better to not waste too much time here?"
Nodding at Daeron. "I agree, that would make sense. Let's hope these tunnels are made with more reasoning, than the general structure, I mean look at this ceiling, it has no support at all!"
The simple wooden door opens to a tunnel that goes about 30ft forwards to a metal door with a lever next to it. Pillars support both walls, but one is collapsed, causing the ceiling above that part of the wall to shift and fall apart a bit.

"Carefull now. We dont want these walls to crash down on us." Baxthon walks down the passage, up to the metal door. Do we see a handle? Other details in the rocks? History check to determine the use for this hallway: 24 - Extra roll if advantage 23
"So the metal door, indictes to me that there is something behind it that someone want to protect. There may even be a trap protecting it. Do not pull the lever until we are sure that is the right thing to do!" Baxthon glares at Fang at this last notion.
Fang's hand was already hovering over the lever as Bax said that and he quickly drops it, "Okay!" And walks away, beginning to just look around the room.
"awww, but the priest man said that goblins got things from here no? So this is their territory. So why wouldn't we be fighting them?"
"Because that's not our objective and I'd rather not fight every goblin on this island if I don't have to."

Daeron will give Fang a two minute head start before he goes in.

"Should we check the other room though? Could be goblins or something cool."

Daeron, Panavor and Baxthon, you notice that the room does in fact have adequate support, so the celling could not have collapsed on its own.

"I don't like this place, let's go forward as the priest said." Then Baxthon walks up to the door in front of them and opens it.
(I'll play it as Baxthon believes the mine could collapse any second, as it is clearly not the quality of a dwarven mine.)
