Asphodel puts his hands on his hips, "I don't know anything about boats but I have a taste for waters-" he points at his fins which move front and back slightly. "-if you catch my drift. Names Asphodel. You'll need me." He flashes a confident, toothy grin.
"Awe, an angel fish. That's noble." He coos to Katznii, "But could you help me get this stick out of my hair first, please? I'd really appreciate it. It's been stuck forever. " he points to the branch protruding out of his orange hair. The piece of wood had been stuck since before he had approached the others.
The winged man speaks up, tentative and almost shying away from eye contact-
"I.. Dont know any of you- I dont know this place either, but if these folk you are fighting are interested in ruins then I take interest in them as well."
His voice seems to gain composure at the end of his statement-
"I am Makani, And i will be alongside you all to these ruins."
He turns to Trinity, "That only leaves you shark bait, you coming? As fun as being in the middle of nowhere is, I'm sure it's a really tough choice." He tries to fix what he can of his hair, pulling out leaf after leaf and flicking them to the ground. His weight is on one leg as he waits for Katznii to decide whether or not to help him take the branch out of his hair.
Katznii looks over at the....sea-elf(?) quizzically before cracking a slight smile. "Seems nonleathal enough, you should be fine for now. Besides, I work more with trauma than tragedies."

"Fine? Fine? Just look at this -" he motions from the top of his head to the bottom of his locks, "it's devastating. Flawless when I left. It's a tragedy, I know.." He closes his eyes and wipes an imaginary tear. "I can't believe people would go on like this."
"Oh? Curious about me are you, Angel fish?" He smirks. "Makes sense, I'm kind of a big deal. You see, a little voice inside my head told me I needed to go somewhere, and here I am. What about you? Do you normally travel to pointless places in hopes of finding damsels in distress?"
Kathleen's ears twitch a bit, catching bits of the conversation between Asphodel and Katz. She decides to ignore it for now in favor of listening to what the thug has to say.
Ria sighs. "Yes, you're all very adorable and heroic," she snaps. "Call me a damsel in distress and I'll stick a dagger somewhere that'll cause you distress. Now, are we going to keep standing around here, or can you save the life stories for later?"
"Yeah, but my voice just so happens to be called Kiri." He pulls out a small charm from out of his armor, wrapped around his neck with twine. "A God of what I think is light. Pretty cool, minus the fact there's a seagull on it. Those things are annoying. " The charm is of a dove holding a scroll. He tucks it back under his armor and turns to Ria.
"Alright, alright, no hard feelings. Remind me to never wake you up in the morning. Any ideas on where we go now?"
"Excuse me if I'm less than a ray of sunshine after being knocked out, tied up, threatened, and stabbed," Ria says in a syrupy sweet voice. "And I was thinking we could follow the rest of the pirates. Which does imply we should get moving sometime soon, before tracking them gets even harder."
“I-I could tell you.” The man chimed in to get in their good graces. “I know the route there the Arvirous Fang—er Captain Fang. He wants to find the Arbiter Stone, and this uh...this temple thing”

Jason looks over to the man and walks over to him. Sheathing his weapons, Jason jerks the man up by his collar (assuming he's wearing a shirt) and stands him up. Staring him down in the eye, he'll then quickly switch over to a smile, "See? Things become so easy when you play nice, right?" Jason gives a small laugh, wiping of some of the dirt from the man's shoulders. However, that laugh quickly dies down, though the smile still stays. "Now then lead the way~." Jason allows the man to lead the way to the temple

Katznii shrugs. "It seems that there has been a rash of folks listening to their inner voices lately."
