Upon already being a the start of a frustrating day, Kathleen could only find two arrows that hadn’t splintered in the fight. As far as anything else she could find, it was clear this party was only meant to stop intruders from Fang’s tomb raiding. Hardly anything looked useful, and the agitated anklyosaur didn’t seem worth investigating.
Trinity sees the devastated surroundings, but only a couple of the bodies had his mark left upon them.
The fallen elf’s still body made it easier to see the details of their assailant. Though Jason lacked much experience with this kind, she seemed incredibly youthful, but it was hidden among a rougher life at sea.
Ria’s steps didn’t make it too far into the tunnel, large stone doors stood like the only barrier between her and vengeance, perhaps even saving a friend. The granite doors had no handles, but seemed sealed. The only idea of how to get in was a facsimile etched into the dark stone. Two jackal like brings stood back to back. One held a scroll while the other held a scimitar. Below them on their hands and knees, a helmeted humanoid soldier appeared to be dying. Three arrows were lodged in their back; the only other significant thing on the soldier was an indentation if a where a hand seems needed to be placed. The illustrated scene of a dying man was captioned by a carved language. (Celestial?)

"Oh goodie," Ria mutters, then calls back along the tunnel, "Hey, I've got a weird language here, if anyone wants to take a stab at it. It's not Common or Elvish, I know that much."
"Hmmm...it says 'I give life to those not ready, but I give judgement to all souls. I am the healing in your soul or the blood shed for consequence. I am Eternal Law Master.'" ponders the Assimar. "But something is odd about some of the lettering. Some of it has been stressed. H...E....A....L....O...R.....H.....A....R...M. Heal or harm?" Katznii scrunches his face at the blood near the floor. "I guess we know what our predecessors chose."

"The mongoose blew out its candle and was asleep in bed before the room went dark." —Llanowar fable
Ria narrows her eyes. "Great. Guessing we're going with the other option?" She cranes her neck back down the tunnel, trying to see what the others are doing.
"Katznii thinks we need to either heal or harm to get through the door," Ria says shortly, glancing at the blood puddle momentarily and then tearing her gaze away.
Kathleen looks at the door and then lightly touches it to see if there are any moving parts in the door. While doing so, she asks, "How do you think the door wants us to do that? Do we just jam an arrow or something into the indent?"
Kathleen responds, "Which is why I think I should be the one to do it. If anything bad happens, it's better if it doesn't effect all of us. If all of you stand back, I could dip my finger in the blood of the fallen elf and stick it in the indent. If nothing happens then there's no harm, if it works that's great and if it blows up or something, then everyone would still be safe."
"I mean, we could also just as easily patch up any outstanding injuries still among us from the last fight though...right?" suggests Katznii. "These sorts of demi-shrines are likely bound up in the magics sympathetic to their demi of choice." Motioning to the pool of blood and the door of choices...."I'd hate to introduce ourselves with violence and set the karmic tone, as it were, when we could pursue other constructive options."

As she scans the surface of the door, it feels icy cold, as if it could chill to her very bone. Nothing seems to move, when she touches the inlaid hand print, it feels tingly around her hand, but nothing else.

"What do we got?" Katznii asks, saddling up to Ria by the etched door.
Along the edges, Katznii’s eyes read:
—
I give life to those not ready, but I give judgement to all souls.
I am the healing in your soul or the blood shed for consequence.
I am Eternal Law Master.
—
Ria notices that just in front of the door, a somewhat coagulated puddle of blood.

Kathleen sighs and puts the two arrows in her quiver and then heads up to Ria and Katznii. She says with a weary smile, "What's up?"
"Katznii thinks we need to either heal or harm to get through the door," Ria says shortly, glancing at the blood puddle momentarily and then tearing her gaze away.

Jason follows in and asks, staring at the door, "....so do we heal the door? Or do we give it blood how does that work?"
Kathleen looks at the door and then lightly touches it to see if there are any moving parts in the door. While doing so, she asks, "How do you think the door wants us to do that? Do we just jam an arrow or something into the indent?"
"Maybe someone casts a healing spell while their hand is in the indent," Ria suggests. "Or covers their hand in blood and sticks it in."

Kathleen looks and says, "You want me to try it?"
"Our blood is already flowing, do you want to try that? Then again, our blood is... special. It might have a bad effect."
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."

Ria shrugs. "If people need healing, I don't see any reason not to."

Kathleen relays the feeling to the rest of the party. "Guys, this door seems really cold for some reason. The hand print here also feels tingly."
