As the crew goes deeper into the catacombs, it’s clear that it was more than just a tomb, but a labyrinth of fallen people. Katznii, with the help of Kathleen quickly pick the right directions, and avoid wasting time, but the feeling that the place was meant keep something inside begins to keep in. The idea of a labyrinth also makes sense to Ria with their Minotaur friend.

The cold, dead maze is now led by Trinity, his minds helping him eerily navigate, but he bings to have a creeping feeling something is watching him. More eyes than his team alone. As he turns a corner to check if they should go, he’s greater by a dead pirate on the ground, blow darts embedded in his body almost everywhere. The tell tale sign of a trap being sprung is clear, and a blood streak splatters a side nearby. Someone who had not been in the trap but injured.
Makani leads the next leg after some take time for rations, feeling the vibrations and echoes of the tomb. Carefully and consistently they cross through until the very end where they see a door open before them. The next room is dark.

Wait, like magical darkness? I'm pretty sure a bunch of us have Darkvision. If this is your average everyday darkness, Kathleen should be able to see what's in the room. But not if it's Advanced Darkness.
"I think I can handle that request." Katznii says with a slight smirk.
Golden light begins to radiate from the aasimar, quickly coalescing around the small crystal hanging from his wrist like a tiny lantern, shedding warm welcoming rays in all directions.
((Mechanical note, if this an effect similar to the actual Darkness, then the Light cantrip won't be very helpful, since Darkness is a level 2 spell and would snuff out the cantrip.))

(I know about the Mechanics but Kathleen has only ever seen the Light spell used in non-magical darkness and was told that "Magical darkness can be pierced by magical light" she knows about various (Cleric) spells but has no idea about spell slots and can't cast anything either. )
Ria nods. "Then lead the way, oh Lord of Light," she says with a faint, teasing smile. As they made their way through the labyrinth, she's grown a little less tense, seeing no evidence of too much further injury of her friend, although she still shifts restlessly.
"Great-let's-go," Ria says quickly, setting off down the indicated path.
