Yaktar lashes out with a dagger in tattooed hand as he is struck, barely grazing the bandit [Attack Roll 12], but drawing lots of blood [Damage roll 7].

Ivar attacks once more the Bandit with his War Pick but this time he did lost his balance having had supported the foe's attack. His swing misses the mark completely.
You are falling lake flies! Gather your wounded and leave! Next time I won't miss!
At this point, it was pretty clear that the guy in the bush was not going to try to get her, so Makaria turned to scan the rest of the battlefield for more prey. "Looks like they're all pretty far..." she muttered, mentally calling her faerie dragon back to her. She quickly shrugged off her bow, knocked an arrow onto it, pulled it back... and sent flying straight towards the guy with the crossbow. The shot tore into the man's flesh as he toppled over, unable to maintain his balance- or his hold on life. "...I, uh, kinda feel bad now..." The tiefling couldn't help but feel a little guilty at the ease with which the team was dispatching their foes.
(OOC: Attacking Bandit 4 with my shortbow, 22 to hit, for 10 Piercing Damage, killing him)
"You seem to be running out of allies." If he ran, she would not follow, but she sincerely doubted he'd get the chance. She lunged forward once again with her rapier. (23 to hit, 10 piercing damage) She was a bit annoyed to see that he was still standing afterwards. He was definitely tougher than she thought. Still, both her and Ivar were more than a match for him. She wasn't particularly worried. "You may want to consider fleeing."
The bandit, while he takes the damage, looks up at Ren and grins wildly. "You're only half right." He lets out a piercing whistle, and two more bandits emerge, along with one Dire Wolf.
Bandit 1 swings at Ivar, and manages to break his guard. 11 damage.
Bandit 3 attempts to catch Yaktar with his blade, but fails to hit.
Bandit 6 attacks Salthes, but like his predecessor, fails to hit.
Bandit 7 attempts to land a blow on Makaria, but misses.
Dire Wolf 1 attacks Ren, but is blocked by Ivar hastily defending his companion.
STATUS: Bandit 1: 48 damage taken. Bandit 3: 7 damage taken. Bandits 2, 4, and 5: DEAD. Bandits 6 and 7: Unharmed. Dire Wolf 1: Unharmed.
The second strike with his dagger is much better aimed [Attack roll 18]. As he lashes out with it, Yaktar chooses to place the dagger where it will hurt most, easily reachable for someone of his height [Damage roll 7].

Seeing the new arrivals Ivar decides it is time to finish this guy quickly specially after he had to lunge to his right to protect Ren from the attack of the Direwolf.
Going for the bandit Ivar swings his War Pick once (1d20+6 = 17 to hit 1d8+4 = 9 piercing damage), swings a second time (action surge, 1d20+6 = 17 to hit, 1d8+4 = 5 piercing damage) and with this attack he locks eyes with the bandit and looks at the direwolf, then says: Hey! I didn't know your mom was here! You should have introduced her before! (superiority die, distracting attack, 1d8 = 8 piercing damage, next attack against him has advantage).
The banter was lost, for a moment after Ivar hit the bandit, he fell to the ground.
Ah! Now you fall down! Hunf! Turning to the Direwolf - now now doggy! your papa is asleep, why don't you turn around and leave us be?
Makaria may not have expected another wave of enemies to arrive, but she was quick enough on her feet to avoid taking a mace to the side. "Woah, that's not cool!" she called out as she threw her bow down and urged her familiar to flank the newcomer. She quickly grabbed up her rapier and thrust the end into the man's side, dispatching him from this mortal world. "Yeesh, that could've been bad." Preferring to be of help, she dashed out into the road to stand between Yaktar and the idiot Salthes was dealing with, faerie dragon in tow.
(OOC: Attacking Bandit 7, Rolled 17, for 14 Damage (killing them); moving 20 ft. to flank Bandit 6)
After slaying one foe another seems to appear and tries to slash at him, and again Salthes clumsily stumbles out of the way of his sword.
He hisses at the new combatant. "Why do you imbecilesss never learn!" He creates another ball of poison and shoves it directly into the thug's face, sending him sputtering but he doesn't fall. Annoyed, Salthes pulls back his left fist and sends it into his ribs and hits directly onto an armored area. He hisses and pulls his hand back, cradling it with his other hand. "Hisss why don't you jussst fall!"
Ren's eyes widened as a Dire Wolf jumped out of the brush nearby. For a moment, she thought that might be it for her. Luckily, her ally Ivar stepped in front of her and deflected the beasts attack. Ren took a short breath before using the opening Ivar created and stabbing into the beast. (17 to hit, 10 damage plus 10 sneak attack) "Thank you for the save, Ivar. I owe you one." She said as stepped back to the man's side and prepared for the next attack.
Yaktar moves to behind Bandit 6, landing a solid hit [Attack Roll 21] in an area where the armour absorbed the majority of the damage from his dagger [Damage roll 4].

Seeing the Direwolf prepare to lunge at Ren, Ivar once again interposes his shield in front of Ren to protect him against the attack (Protection fighting style).
Then, Ivar takes a step toward the wolf and with practiced ease he hits it with his war pick (1d20+6 = 18 to hit, 1d8+4 = 8 piercing damage).
Ren, if you need you better retreat, I'll deal with the doggy!
Salthes stands fairly still still cradling his hand and yet again the bandit swings and misses. Salthes for a second is stunned by these bandit's incompetence. "Godsss, you are terrible combatantsss, and that's sssaying sssomething coming from me."
Slathes then flicks a finger and takes out the inept bandit with a magic missile, seeming to loathe it. He then fires 2 more at the dire wolf assaulting his compatriot, hitting it hard in its face.
The Dire Wolf topples to the ground, its skull collapsed from the last magic missile dart that hit it. A wave of silence washes over the party. The bandits all lie on the ground, unmoving. The battle has been won.

Looking at the bandit with the greatsword, Ivar says: You should've let us pass me friend...well, lets find out who this bastards are. Look for insignia, tokens or any thing that tell us something about them. And money pouches too, we cannot let money rot! Bwahahahaha
Is anyone hurt? We might want to rest a bit to gather our breath. Oh! We should see if they have a camp base somewhere close? Any one know how to read tracks?
Ivar starts to move around the area trying to find some sort of set of tracks that could indicate where this bandits had their camp, but nothing grabs his attention (Perception 10).
Check them pockets, see if any of ya find anything.
Ren stumbled back as the dire wolf bit into her shoulder. She managed to just barely slip out of its grasp, but before she could retaliate, the beast was dead and the fight was over. With a pained sigh of relief she takes a look over the remains of the battlefield (Crit on Investigation.) "These bandits were doing quite well for themselves." As she spoke, she walked over to the bandits and stripped off any valuables, placing them neatly in a pile nearby. "We have quite a selection here." The loot itself almost made her forget her very near deadly wound. It was only Ivar asking if anyone was hurt that made her remember her own pain.
"I fear I'm a bit light headed, but I'm sure it's-" Ren cut herself off as she finally looked at her wound. "Well shit, it might have nicked an artery." On that note she knelt down and began digging through her own bag. She didn't want to waste a potion, but using her kit to patch herself up would take more time...She froze a moment before looking up at the others. "Can we rest a moment? I just need to stop the bleeding at least. I have two potions, but I'd like to save them for an emergency."
Sure thing lass! I meself need a breather here. That fool really knew how to swing that slab of metal some call a sword. Since I didn't find any tracks leading to their camp, what you guys say we walk a bit into the bushes and rest for, say, an hour? I could use a meal break also, fighting makes me hungry! Bwahaahahahha
After that said, Ivar looks at the loot and says: I am happy with my share of those gold pieces there, don't want anything else.
