(This has been sitting idle too long. Time to fire up again!)
Brand glances at the town in the distance, "Just another distraction. I say we keep moving."

Characters:
Grishkar Darkmoor, Necromancer of Nerull the Despiser Kelvin Rabbitfoot, Diviner, con artist, always hunting for a good sale Bründir Halfshield, Valor Bard, three-time Sheercleft Drinking Competition Champion, Hometown hero
The wood elf sits at the border of the camp. He returned with his wolf from hunting with the corpse of a deer for all to eat, and they were taking their own dinner, another little deer for the wolf and some vegetables for him. They don't speak with the rest of the party if not adressed directly and it seems that they are enjoying each other's company.
[OOC: Cudraug will meditate first while the wolf takes watch, then they will switch, the wolf will rest and the elf will watch. IF the rest of the party suggest to make watchs during the night he will inform of this to the others, if not he will not. ]
Brand slumps near the fire, staring intently as though trying to regain focus on something. Other a few minutes, he breaks his silence, but not his stare, "Priest. What's your story? You seem like the typical High-Holy type, but not some hopeless peace-monger that I've seen in the past."
(Though these discussions, Brand picks up snippets of telepathic feedback and takes little defensive jabs at others. Feel free to use it however you like ;P)

Jeramiah had positioned himself away from the rest of the group, so he sighs when questioned by Brand.
"You don't know much about the Church and its Inquisitorial force, do you? Fifteenth tenet of the Inquisitors of the Church: Peace is achieved through War, not in spite of it. The teachings of the Church happen to match my outlook on life, so I took on the ways of an Inquisitor. Not much else that you'll find worth knowing, so I'll not waste your time with it."

The woodelf scoffs at Jeramiah's words. Even from the distance they are from the rest of the party he says in his low and calm voice.
"War is never good for anyone except by those who encourage them, so they could gain some benefit. Material or... spiritual. Conflict is inevitable. The prey wants to fight for its life and the predator hunt them for them. But there is a difference between conflict and war."
As the group settles down for the night, the sound of hoofbeats approach the camp. The party begins to prepare for a fight, but before they can engage, a purple-robed earth Genasi on horseback rides into the center of the camp. Seeing Jeramiah, he quickly flashes a symbol of Lynam, Lord of Twilight. The cleric slides off his horse, pulling out some chalk. "You are the Mercenaries of the Sun, yes? You must come with me, quickly. You have been reassigned." In order to quell any doubt, the cleric pulls out a scroll, signed by the Sarge, confirming the reassignment.
As the party reads the scroll, the Genasi finishes his teleportation circle. Beckoning everyone inside, and pulling his horse in, the cleric mutters the incantation, and the party vanishes into thin air, leaving nothing behind but a vague outline in chalk on the ground.
The group materializes in one of the many teleportation circles in a temple of Lynam. The House of the Lord of Twilight acts as a teleportation hub, allowing fast and easy travel- if you can afford it, that is.

"Aye. I think it is probably best that we press onwards."
Jeramiah doesn't even give the village a second glance.

With the party majority deciding to move onwards, the group passes the village by, finding a safe spot elsewhere to spend the night.
[This portion is intended to allow Player Characters to role-play and establish relationships for a while before proceeding onwards.]
