To Lil, Agozur and Sorvas. "Is the plan to walk or should we hire horses? You said it was 6 days travel?" Wraeven whispers.
Wraeven hoists the baby onto the other hip and has adopted a subtle bouncing motion which seems to have pacified the now sleeping cub.
Sorvas responds, Well due to the dangers of the path I normally take, horses will only save us one day due to having to guide them by hand through certain sections and detouring others. Provided you can keep up with my pace on foot and due to the rains of late it will actually be about the same amount of time and cost you more coin.
Looking back and forth between Wraeven and Sorvas "So it's a damned if we do, damned if we don't scenerio?" I like me some of those odds, though my legs might not. I kind of have this bad knee. You know you are getting old when you don't have a right and left but a good and bad knee. ". Back to Agozur " What does Destiny say about the chances of our bodies not completely collapsing on us after 6 days of slogging through bush?"
With a smile to Lil "Destiny wouldn't let us fall to the elements, we're meant for far greater things" before giving him a friendly boop on the shoulder
[man I crashed out at like 8:30pm last night when I'm usually up until midnight, apologies, and yeah escrow closes for the house on Weds.]
Alesandair when your guiding bolt repeats the same as last turn, the young elf looks at you puzzled, then his face lights up, "oh...wellyouseeitsbasedonyourschoolsofmagic. Ifyoujustusethesametype...well...sometimes it just does the same thing....."
Crackle's right arm of branches will unwind in a disorienting swirl to drop 10 gold coins clinking on the table in front of Ayra.
The small cub falling toward the unseen servant looks amazed and then giggles as it floats around Lil, hitting the unseen servant (who apparently is balled because the child cannot find hair to pull).
Mobya a small caterpillar crawls across the palm of your hand.
[You all might notice the beads of sweat on Alesandair forehead and the words from the young elf at this point.
Sorvas gets up and walks to the door leading outside and says, As soon as your companion here has finished his game, I think we should be off to make the most of what remains of the day. He turns back to Crackle and gives a slight head nod as a way of saying thank you and heads outside to wait, staying within eye sight of the door he exited from.
Sorvas, you note the morning sun a bit above the eastern edge of the Barrier where your path lies, and a little to the south, you see the small dwarf resting under a tree. A bit past her, you see a large, shelled creature lumbering along looking at a moth that flies nearby. He reaches out with his scaled finger-toe, and the small winged creature lands gently atop his trimmed nail.
Breathing in, the air is cool perhaps even a bit refreshing, if one would have it be so. The rains of late keeping the air moist without being stifling.
With the suggestion of the elf, Alesandair begins channeling energy for Shield of Faith Ignoring the small beads of perspiration that begin to form and trickle down his pale-complected face, a bluish white energy now emits from the amulet around his neck. Their seems to be a small shimmering field of energy pulsating out around the amulet
Wraeven is not quite sure of the consensus of walking or riding or even taking a cart for the young ones. He goes outside with Sorvas, who seems intent on identifying a figure in the distance.
Sorvas, you would recognize the Tortle as the local cleric and chaplain who lives in the hut. You've never really needed to talk to him before, but you've wandered into town once or twice when he was performing last rites for one of the soldiers or officiating a wedding or counseling those about to head off to more dangerous posts.
Ayra, despite the distracting sorrow of selling your trunk, you definitely heard 95% of that..... And you now notice the baby floating near Lil.
Alesandair, your arcane energy channels through the blue orb then lashes into the elf's purple opposite causing it to fall with a cathunk to the table, anchored firmly.

"Is that someone that you know?" he asks Sorvas.
Know...No. The tortle is the local chaplain. Sorvas says with distaste, I will find out about the dwarf, join me if you wish. Sorvas approaches the dwarf and says from a distance of about 20 feet, one hand resting in a natural posture above his shortsword, unthreateningly and says Greetings, I have not seen you around here before, Sorvas chuckles, Of course I only come to town on occasion, I am Sorvas.
Mobya hears the new tour guide talking to her, places the caterpillar on the ground, puts the rock in her pocket, and responds as she gets up from sitting under the tree
Good morning to you, I am Mobya, we met yesterday when I helped Arya bring the younglings inside after your initial approach. I understand my friends are considering your offer to guide our group to take the babies to their right destination. Has the group made a decision yet?

"I think that horses are going to be a headache, but they might be worthwhile. My knees aren't what they used to be either" looking at Lil and Agozur.

(Sorry busy weekend I'll try to post in the next 5 hours)
Ayra Crackle responds well to your persuasiveness. He taps that he'll buy the trunk for 10 gold.

Can you describe the creature I see? Has the dwarf spotted me?

Make a perception check since you're actively examining from afar.

Ayra will transfer the contents of the chest to her new backpack before relinquishing it and accepting the 10 gold from Crackle.
Perception check to see if Ayra would have heard the somewhat disturbing cnoversation between Sorvas and the boyz (Ag and Lil)
Perception 11
[makes sense lol]
