As Sorvas leaves, Ayra looks around at her companions. "I hope you are all in agreement with the decisions I have gone ahead and made. The signs seem to have been telling us not bring the little ones into the city of the Spires, which means that the path of the little ones, as well as Wraeven and myself, must diverge now from the path of the merchant. I hope that the rest of you will come as well, however if you would prefer to remain with the merchant or take another path, that is of course your choice."
As Wraeven and Agozur attempt to take care of the babies with Mobya heading outside, Wraeven's bird keeps shifting shoulders making it hard to hold the cubs. The small reddish-orange skinned baby reaches awkwardly for the bird nearly toppling over his shoulder. Then, when Agozur attempts to hold the young orc while passing coins, he loses focus for a moment. He then has to wrestle with her as the little cub keeps trying to grab his various weapons either from his waist, his pack, etc. Eventually, she manages to get ahold of a coin to munch with her small conical tusk. Meanwhile the goblin cub whimpers from inside the basket-pack with a forlorn cry.
"It's my pleasure" Ayra responds while taking the coins offered by Agozur.
She then turns and speaks discretely to Wraeven: "I ...um... I am afraid I don't likely have the proper supplies for a journey of this nature." Embarrassed , she lifts the lid of her 12 cubic ft chest, and he can see that it is filled with ink, paper and sealing wax, perfume, soap, and a set of fine clothing. The only practical items in view, aside from her bow and dagger, appear to be a day's worth of rations and a lamp. "Could you help me figure out what I am likely to need?"
[Ooc: well that's embarassing. Hopefully my princess chest at least has wheels?]
Grateful for the distraction caused by the babies, Ayra will pick up the crying goblin cub. "It's ok" She assures the youngling, bouncing him awkwardly but gently.
Lil seems to be the only one managing the younglings with any sense of ease in this moment as he scoops up the goblin and holds it like a football, gently swaying the young boy back and forth.
Wraeven to Ayra (talking out of the corners of his mouth)
"We can go to the general goods trading post. You'll want some good boots, lots of walking. Probably some extra arrows, you won't always be able to find the ones you shoot. Maybe they'll take some of this stuff in trade?"
Sorvas discusses his shopping list with Crackle in private
Well Crackle it has been a while, looks like on top of my normal supplies that I gathered upon my arrival to town, I will need a few more things. I will be guiding this group(He motions to the group) so I am going to need 4 more bells and also about 500 feet of string, and I would say 4 bundles of stakes. What do I owe ya for that?
[omg it is taking all my willpower not to click on the spoiler in Sorvas's post!]
"Thank you my friend" Ayra says to Wraeven. She stands, putting her hand on his shoulder and then shyly follows Sorvas to ask Crackle for supplies. As long as Sorvas and Crackle are speaking, she will hang back in order to give him space to complete his transaction, and will then approach Crackle when he is done.
"Hello" She says to Crackle. "Can you help me obtain some supplies?"
Assuming that Crackle indicates that he can offer supplies, she will give him her list, one item at a time, based on Wraeven's advice, as well as on the equipment she has seen on her comrades:
"I will require: - a backpack - a bedroll - rations for 10 days - a waterskin - 2 packs of 20 arrows and a quiver
And ... do you have a small hand cart that we could use to help transport the three younglings?"
(not really a spoiler, you just did not hear it, so you would not know about it. Not a big deal)
(Also as far as it goes, depending on the price of a cart, you may be able to outfit 3 backpacks so you can carry the children in front of you)
(There may be the option to get a cart even all depending, but with the recent rains I wouldn't recommend it personally even if it is an option)
(also so I don't take up a lot of space in a ramble spoiler can be used too. I only used it so that you would take it as something your character would not know, even if you read it)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Twisting his branches a bit his bark brows furrowing...
[How many bells does Crackle have in stock? 1d6-1= 2 ] [How many 100 ft spools of string? 1d8-1= 0 ]
He will shrug at Sorvas and turn his branches up in an apology, but then taps the gold coin in the bar and then his "arm" five times, laying the bell and spools of string on the counter.
Once Ayra appears, he will throw a small rock at the tree in the corner, tapping his arm four times and his shoulder once at the awakened tree that slowly ambles out the front door.
[Has Ayra really been carrying around that large a trunk and I didn't notice....so many missed opportunities .....ugh]
The tree will return with 2 bundles of 12" wooden stakes (8 each) and the explorer's pack.
Crackle will point at Sorvas and tap the counter and gold piece 2 more times. Then wave at Ayra, and tap the elven script carved into the counter for 10 (and you realized there are symbols for 10, 25, 50, and 100) followed by the gold piece.
Ayra will produce 10 gold from her pouch and push it across the counter to Crackle.
[And oh yes, Ayra has totally been carrying around a ridiculously large trunk. I didn't fully realize it either until I started thinking about supplies.]
((she just appeared on the road thanks RQ, not sure she would have had all that stuff at the time she was in the Spires. So I think you're off the hook.))

As Sorvas approaches Crackle, the twig blight innkeeper behind the counter, what sorts of supplies is he looking for?

As Agozur looks in the sack with the coin he will take out 5g and slide it across the table to Arya "Thank you."

Animal Handling - 10
When handling babies Lil is naturally average, much like his Dad Bod would suggest

[Sorry realized I didn't finish before posting]
Also, Wraeven as you look into the pouch you count 20 gold.
