I open my door a crack and peek out. "We actually have a task on hand for today. We won't be able to go on a killing spree until we return unfortunately."
(Alright, it's been a few days, so imma just try and jumpstart this thing)
Sildar exits his room after shaking off the bit of confusion he had from the situation. "Could you please elaborate? As we each have important things to do, so unless it's absolutely urgent, we should grt on with those things."
As this is going on, you see a tired and disheveled Tungol creep out of their room and head downstairs, muttering something about the bathroom in the patchwork tones you'd expect of the kenku.
"That is... deeply disconcerting. If true, then he's right; we cannot leave the fates of the people of this town to chance. I'm sorry Alteria, but I'll have to gather what I can of the town guard, but you are free to carry out your goal should you deem it important. I trust you can handle whatever it may be, but I'd take someone with you just in case.
As for you Jared, where exactly are these bandits? I'll need to know where they are so we can ensnare them."
I'll go with Alteria then, make sure she doesn't get herself into too much trouble. I beam as I walk back into the room to scrounge together my supplies.
We can take my wagon, should get us there quick enough.
“Well, Jared, as “tempting” as your murder spree sounds, I think I’d rather stick with helping Alteria on her less dangerous and more rewarding mission.”
I shine a big smile at Somnnier and Narissa. "Thank you for the help! I'm sure if we take your wagon, Somnnier, it will be a short trip!" I turn to Jared and hand him his 10 gp. "This is your share from the goods delivery. Sildar, do be safe when dealing with those bandits. I will find you as soon as we return and we can discuss locating this Albrek fellow. Now... should we see if Tungol would like to come along as well?"
I'll just go ahead and get Punda and the wagon ready, let me know when you're ready to go. If we move quickly, we might be able to get there and back before supper!
And with that, I head out the door to ready for travel.
Prolvic, you find your wagon parked behind the inn, and your donkey Punda grazing in the town green. You have little trouble herding her over to your wagon and readying up.
After a few minutes, Tungol returns through the front door, casually whistling a tune up the stairs to the rest of the party.
" 'What did I miss?' 'How's it-' 'going to-' 'you too' 'Jared' " Tungol pitches, a spattering of voices from their throat, the name exiting in Jared's own voice.
"Well, after the elf here left me for dead and apparently didn't bother telling the rest of you I was attacked by a mob of gang members, I woke up in a dungeon with a family of scared shitless farm hands who were about to be sold into slavery and we barely escaped with our lives as the place was filled with traps and undead skeletons.
But no, you're right, it's not important we deal with the bandits terrorizing the townspeople and raising the dead."
"Tungol, Narissa and Somnnier are accompanying me to a nearby town to interrogate a banshee. Would you be interested in coming along? It shouldn't take more than a couple days, at most.
The bandits do indeed sound like a problem, but I'd rather not blindly rush in headfirst. I'd feel better with the potions I'll get from completing my task with the banshee. Maybe the local priestess knows something about them as well. Would you be willing to wait until we return to rid the town of the redbrands, Jared?"
Tungol gives a worried look at the sound of the word "Banshee", parroting it back in your own voice a few times, followed by snippets of conversation about how the dead should stay dead.
" 'Rather fight y-' 'the thing I know for real!' '-than a spooky mist.' "
"Besides-" They follow up with a grim look, " 'I can't stand!' 'Run! Slavers!' "
"Nah, you get your ****in potions. Anyone interested in helping these people before more of them are kidnapped or murdered in their homes can come with me."
I make my way to the door but stop before exiting. I turn and raise my mace and point it at the elf.
I ignore the last statement and blink a couple times before turning back into my room and gathering my things together. On my way out, I turn to Narissa and say, "I'll go ahead and head down to Sommnier. We'll be waiting for you outside." And with that I head downstairs and outside.

I nonchalantly open the door upon hearing Jared’s voice,
“Oh hey, you’re alive. Good job.” I put away my dagger and pull out his,
“I forgot to give this back before, my bad”
I hand it over.
I open the door to my room and wipe the sand from my eyes. Perhaps we don't KILL per se? I'd frankly rather not.

Bandits.
The murdery kind.
Terrorizing town.
Kidnapping and enslaving.
Undead black magic ****ery.
Move your asses.
