To most of Faerun, it would appear this dwelling was originally designed to be an inn or similar place of business. Those with knowledge of the dwarves in this region, however, know that this architecture is typical of a multi-family dwelling designed to hold multiple branches and generations of a given familial clan all at once.
The wide, low door of slate and oak opens into a sunken oval with a central hearth sufficient for hosting at least twenty at a time. Two stout support pillars, connected by an oaken wall branded with the family's heraldry, mark the far perimeter of this sitting area. Three short stairs on either side of this wall lead to the home's arterial hall, which in turn leads to two long banks of private rooms, a kitchen and brewery, a small forge and armory, and the storage cellar to which you were lead in your dream.
At present, the home is well appointed with fine food, drink, furnishings, and decor consistent with a high lord's keep, giving it the feel of a posh mountainside retreat for the wealthy. Many items throughout the home appear to have significant value, including such simple items as electrum flatware and gilded bronze filigree throughout the property.
As an observation, an enchantment seems to be at work here. Food, even if left half-eaten on a counter, seems immune to age and rot. Plates returned to the kitchen seem to get washed and stacked when no one in looking. A room left in disarray is promptly cleaned and organized upon the occupant's departure. It's as if dozens of minor magicks are at work simultaneously.

It doesn't take long for Cliste to have wandered back to the kitchen since she knew the rooms were empty except the ones magically assigned to the four here already. She knows magic is in use, but has only had rudimentary training in knowing arcana thus far, but her hope was to gain some knowledge of it to mix with her other well honed skills.
She can't find a spot to put the apple core after taking the last bite, so she sets it on the corner of a large preparation table. The kitchen is well appointed. Any grand chef would love working in it. She spent time admiring the choice of dinnerware, tankards, pots and utensils. When ready to leave she turns back to the preparation table to pick up her apple core to find it gone.
"Oh, how delightfully sneaky." Her musical laugh fills the room as she searches the room and still finds no trash bin anywhere. "I see. Well, that is a trifling of what you obviously can do. You saved me and Lerikyn a whole month of cold walking to where we were going anyway. Not sure this is a good or bad thing, but I'll let Mystra work that out."
She smirks as she picks up a carving knife and tests the balance by standing it on her finger. It wobbles at first, but she finds the blade is finely made and soon she has it balanced with only slight effort. She catches it as she lets it fall and with a fluid throw aims at a knot in a cupboard door. It sinks with a solid thud.
"Shoot, off just a tad." The blade stops its vibration from impact with the blade straight up and down but just to the left of center. "Sorry I messed up the door, but I bet I find that fixed when I return." She laughs again.

The two Mystra devotee's were... odd, to Kjørynreis. They seemed so naturally trusting of whatever dream the entire group had... together. Which was another matter altogether. Rea seemed to be reasonably suspicious as well. The facts were that they were in a large house, and that it was the same place from their congruent dream. He just couldn't decide if this was the mind-games of some powerful wizard, or it was, in fact, the interceedings of a god. A god of magic, nevertheless. If so, Kjørynreis couldn't help but feel overwhelmed at the possibility that his life had altered course by the will of the goddess of magic herself. It was humbling.
Deciding to go along with whatever game was playing out, Kjørynreis sat himself down, glancing at the party. Rea was searching for a book. Something about the possibility they are all dreaming. He figured this wasn't a dream though... His were usually nightmares, and the crown of his head was still tender from the fall. Cliste was busy eating one of the apples. He stretched out his hand, as if to warn her of the potential of poisoned food, but she was too quick, so he retracted his hand and waited. Observing, he noted that she didn't show any signs or symptoms of poison, which meant that the food was, presumably, safe to eat. Likewise, Rea had already begun to eat a turkey leg, and she always was the wiser one than him. Setting aside his battleaxe and shield, he picked up another turkey leg and an apple, thinking that those were the safest foods to eat.
The food was delicious, and much better than whatever rations they had. His mind drifted back to the dream, trying to recall whatever information he could. There was a cellar, and it was filled with much strong drink. That was intriguing, and worth investigation. Mead was always a favorite of Kjørynreis, though he tried to limit his intake since he found faith in Ilmater. "I'm going to check out this cellar and see what they have available. I'm hoping for some Dead King's Gold down there." he remarks with a smile on his face as he stands up. I think the dream said it was this way...Moving through the house, he finds the stone stairs, and goes down below.
Lerikyn sat relaxing upon the soft furs. It was a very nice place for a dwarven home, almost like a luxury retreat!
"I only know this place as much as my memory serves, my dear." He gestures to everything around him, "This is exactly as I remember in my dream. I spent nearly a decade of my life recalling as many details as possible of my dreams, so I have a knack for remembering them. As a Cleric of Mystra, you're welcome to delve into all sorts of strange and wonderful arts. Oneirology was merely one of many!"
He stands as Kjørynreis does, "I'll join you, my good man. I'm eager to see what this door looks like below, and I wouldn't mind sampling a little of the whiskey." He follows Kjørynreis downstairs.
The steep stair to the cellar requires a sure foot - a single step amiss and one could go tumbling, cracking their heads before landing hard on the carved bedrock of the floor below. With some caution, however, the journey is brief and uneventful.
You find yourselves in a cellar large enough to belong to a bustling tavern. Casks of sweet ice-wine line one wall, with ale and mead on another, and a wooden rack full of various bottles down the center. While there's no Dead Kings Gold to be found, the variety and quality of spirit is exceptional.
The bronze door in black granite, flanked by iron statues, lies at the end, around the end of the ale casks on the far wall.
"I'm coming too," Rea announced eagerly. She did not want to let Reis out of her sight, especially if he was going to be accompanied by some weird gnome. "Maybe getting drunk on our first night in a strange place that could have all sorts of things ready to kill us isn't the best idea."
"Do you remember that fairytale about the house made of sweets?" the monk whispered to her friend, softly enough that the cleric couldn't hear them. While she didn't distrust Lerikyn, she didn't exactly trust him either. "With the horrible enchantress inside, ready to eat small children that she lured in? I'm a bit worried this is our House of Sweets, and there's something big here waiting to eat us whole."
Cliste hears the others head to the cellar, but does not follow. Instead she steps out of the room and then spins in the doorway to face the cupboard she had thrown the knife at. She smirked because the knife was gone and there was no hole.
"Yup, I bet this all looks like long unused place when that door opens. Not sure who you are Silver Man of Dreams, but I was coming here anyway. Well, not to this crazy enchanted house, but I have a feeling that door will open to the labyrinth of doom dungeon Lerikyn thinks he'll find some item Mystra supposedly told him about." She looked about seeing no one and still no sound of the fifth showing up. "And here I am talking to you and I honestly have no clue if you can hear me or not." She shrugged. "Now I'm still trying to figure out if you left anything useful around here that I can be sure of taking with me so I'm not hungry or thirsty on the trip. The knives aren't bad, but they seem to know where they belong."
She finds the brewery pretty standard. It has a few choices of drink in it as if ready for a party breaking out, but she doesn't try any of them. She had never been much of one to drink. Drinking and being a really good burglar did not go hand in hand. She chuckled as she left the brewery behind.
She reconfirmed all the rooms were empty except for the four with gear. Number five had not yet arrived.
Lerikyn examines the Statues and Doorway closely, talking out loud as he does.
"It appears as though it's extra-planar in origin - possibly made by than hands of dwarves. The runes and symbols... I'll need to study those further to determine the meaning. Do you feel that?" He asks no one in particular, "It radiates a sort of energy." He holds his holy symbol in his hands and whispers a prayer to Mystra to reveal the magic that surrounds this place. As he does his eyes go a little wide. "The magic of the door is strong in Abjuration indicating it is a teleporter of sorts while..." He suddenly looks distracted.
"Will you look at that? Mystra has gifted my vision with enchanted spirits!" He's suddenly lost all interest in the door as he wonders over to a small group of bottles. He pulls a few choice labels before turning back around, "Join me for a drink!" With that, he makes his way back upstairs.
"Do you remember that fairytale about the house made of sweets?" the monk whispered to him, very softly. It tickled his ear. "With the horrible enchantress inside, ready to eat small children that she lured in? I'm a bit worried this is our House of Sweets, and there's something big here waiting to eat us whole."
She always brought a side of sense to Kjørynreis. But her wise words could not penetrate the thick demands of liquor. Like a raging dragon nestled within his gut, Kjørynreis craved alcohol. It was perhaps his greatest vice. Bloodshed could be avoided, war could become peace. But his demanding desire for liquor could never be sated, until the black curtain of unconsciousness covered him whole.
Using the excuse of cultural indifference, he responded to Rea. "Rea, fairy tales are exactly that: fairy tales. Such houses don't actually exist. That's why it's a made up story." Sifting through the various bottles, one caught his eye. Lifting it up, a huge grin spread across his face.
Dwarfdropper. Now there was a spirit that seemed to call out to him, beckoning a challenge... one he just could not refuse. "And besides, if this house is a House of Sweets, then today is a good day to die!" he cries out, following it up with a boisterous laugh. Holding out the bottle to Rea, he shows the label to her clearly. "Look what I just found! It's even enchanted for extra potency! Hahaha! This is going to be a glorious night!" His barbaric side always came out when alcohol was in the mix of things.
Picking up the bottle of Dwarfdropper, Kjørynreis downed the entire drink in just under a minute. After finishing it, he throws the bottle against the ground. "AHAHA!!! I am immune to this concoction! I need another one." Underneath the facade, Kjørynreis couldn't help but feel a little disappointed. His fortitude against alcohol was outstanding, as all his old comrade's fortitudes were. But he didn't even feel a buzz after consuming it. Perhaps the alcohol is just old and lost its potency? Or the magic was a lie...Rummaging through the other bottles, he picks up another and downs it, eager to get his fill. He could hear a small voice, telling him to stop drinking so much. But it was quickly pushed aside by the dragon within, raging for more.
Everyone in the house hears an eerie and all-too-familiar laugh, a dozen voices spanning time and space, crashing together somewhere near the house's cellar.
You know it's the man in silver, but there's no indication what he's laughing about...

Lerikyn nudges Rea and nods towards Kjørynreis, "You might want to get your man under control, lass. It looks like he may be in a bit of trouble after this one." With that, Lerikyn goes back upstairs and grabs a few glasses before returning to his furred pillow. He sets them each out, putting a slice of turkey breast behind each glass, and begins the ritual of tasting.
"Come join me!" He says to Cliste, gesturing to the pillow next to him. "I found enchanted spirits in the cellar. Mystra demands we taste them!"
Lerikyn hears the man in silver at this time and says, "Ah... so it is you with a sense of humor, is it?"
Kjørynreis downed the second bottle, unsure of what it even was, and throws it on the ground as it shatters into dozens of tiny glass shards. He felt the effects of this drink a little bit more, and started hearing voices... like a dozen voices laughing at him all at once. "Ah... so it is you with a sense of humor, is it?" the little gnome questioned. Turning towards the gnome, he shouts, "I have a sense of humor, tiny one! Don't question me on that." He sways a little, and takes a few deep breaths before the weird look from Lerikyn grants him realization: the gnome heard the laugh too. And not only that, but it registered to him that the laugh came from the same voice as the dream he had. "Who dare laughs at me?!" Kjørynreis roars at the cellar. "Show yourself, One-of-many-voices!"

Cliste stops to take in Lerikyn as he addresses her upon her return to the sitting room. She noted the bottles and arranged turkey legs. The laughter makes her arch a brow.
"Oh, he has a huge sense of humor, but with a dark twist I think. Have you managed to make me drink any spirits since you met me?"
She stretches tall and then leans to one side and then the other. "I think all that steady walking and sleeping in the cold despite a fire, stiffened me up." She then leans over with her feet close together and actually touches her face to her legs and her hands are flat on the floor almost behind her. She rolls a shoulder and there is an audible pop. "Ah, much better." She moves into an easy roll and comes up sitting with her legs crossed by Lerikyn.
She picks up a turkey leg and takes a bite.

Lerikyn nods to Cliste repeatedly as she makes her point. However she does these stretches is beyond him, but every time she does it he's impressed. "Hmph!" He says, "I have a feeling you and he have a similar since of humor, my dear." Lerikyn un-corks a bottle and pours a finger of the liquid into a glass. He does this with each of them to allow them to air out a bit.
He then proceeds to take a drink of each, relishing the effects for a good few moments before biting the turkey to clear his pallet and moving on to the next. The auras he see while doing this is nearly breathtaking. "This must be what the Goddess sees," he whispers. "Wonderful!" He claps his hands a few times before pouring another flight.
"If it was possible for me to get him under control, he would have mastered meditation a year ago," the young woman sighed. Rea remained by Reis's side, ready to intervene if things went really wrong.
The monk was naturally shocked when she heard the voice from before laughing at them. "What do you want from us, Man of Silver?" Rea called out the void, getting into a fighting stance.
Cliste took another bite of her turkey as she took some time to examine the two that strangers that had come to be with them. She smirks when the woman goes into a fighting stance. she knew her name sounded like ray, but doubted it was spelled that way. The big guy was called Reis by her, but Lerikyn was able to say the full name. She probably wouldn't even try.
"He won't mind the mess. This place cleans itself of both apple cores and knives in walls, so I bet the broken bottle mess disappears when we stop looking at it."
She looks at Lerikyn again. "Best to be ready for when the fifth shows up because then we suddenly are poofed through the door or something like that." She takes another bite of her turkey leg as if this possibility doesn't phase her in the least bit and is just another expected part of the journey. Actually it was because the dream said so and she figured the fifth was not going to have a lot of time to explore the fine version of the house or get used to the rest of them until in the fun to come.
"Ah... killjoy. Just one more taste. My spell will soon wear out and I won't be able to see the weave like this again for a very long time." He finishes filling the second flight and begins the routine of drink and bite, stopping in the middle of the flight. "Good catch on the enchantment, by the way."
