Silthy will steady her resolve, and try once more with the magic that was taught to her. She releases another beam of fire. The beam impacts with the damaged skeleton!
The skeleton in the hallway slams into the wall from the impact of the blow and flies to pieces, his rib cage and head toppling to the floor while his arms and legs fly several feet in each direction.
Undeterred, the remaining skeletons surge from the room and fill the gap. One of the skeletons claws at Reis, but is unable to get past his defenses.
(META: 2 skeletons in hall now, which fills it. 3 remaining in room.)

As the wave of skeletal filth washed up against him, his shield held them at bay and he struck deep into the skeleton nearest to him. Greenfire surged from his axe onto another nearby skeleton as well. "The rage of the Reg Tiger consume you unholy creations!"
The skeletons close in and Lerikyn fumbles for a moment as he tries to recall something... something about the reason he carries his little hammer. Bah! No time for that now, the skeletons are too close! So he calls upon the power of Mystra, lightening pulsing in his hand as he shoots his hand forward and connects!!!
The wall next to the skeleton takes massive amounts of lightening damage.
Wincing in pain from the wounds at her neck, Cliste lifts her crossbow into place to attack, but her discomfort proved too much to concentrate on the shot. Her quarrel whizzes past the skeleton and impacts the rear wall of the hallway.
(META: 5+5 = 10 to hit - miss)

He grunts, igniting his axe and attacking the closest skeleton [11 damage]. The skeleton topples under the might of the blow, as more greenfire arcs to the nearest skeleton. "Come at me, dark magic..ers! Face my righteous fury!"
The skeletons push forward, stumbling and tripping over their fallen allies. The one in front falls to a knee, but then comes up with a vicious thrust of its claw aimed at Reis.
Reis, in the fraction of a second he has to react as he's clear the assault will score a nasty hit, speaks a quick incantation, deflecting the blow.
(META: Composite roll of 20 to hit, Reis responds with a Shield spell, causing the creature to miss)

As the skeleton closes, Rea unleashes her prepared staff attack, striking it across the shoulder. To everyone's surprise, it shatters like glass, sending tiny fragments of bone flying. After Rea shakes it off the end of her staff, what's left of the skeleton falls motionless to the ground.
(META: 19 to hit, 6 damage * 2 due to bludgeoning vulnerability)
Lerikyn is truly impressed by the way his new companions are handling themselves. Reis shields himself just in time to avoid an attack and Rea smashes it to bits in revenge. Trying to get his piece of the pie, Lerikyn summons Mystra's flame down upon the skeleton. It nimbly dodges to the side as it closes in to take its undead companion's place.
Cliste is not one to standby and do nothing. Thankfully the skeletons were bottle necked and she had made sure her friends were ready to fight before she let them come out. Maybe a bit too daredevilish, but she was also one not to have her friends wind up in a fight unprepared when she caused it. At least, the skeletons were dying with one of them exploding from a staff hit.
She pulls out her hand crossbow and shakily gets it loaded. Her neck felt on fire where the claws had hit and her mask was sticking to it from her quick attempt to put pressure on it somehow. It didn't help her aim at all, but thankfully it was a miss that flew into the hallway and skimmed off a wall. The way her body was not cooperating, she could have done worse and hit a party member instead.

Rea's assault inspired him, causing him to charge into the hallway and attack the next skeleton. Raising his battleaxe high, he uttered a magical incantation, causing his battleaxe to once again glow with greenfire. The axe cleaved through the skeleton, shattering it to pieces, and greenfire roared toward the skeleton behind it. With that done, he stepped back to to his original starting point and gave Rea a big smile.
Silthy aims carefully, paying attention to the movements of her allies, before unleashing another bolt of fire. It connects, but she must have adjusted a little too much, because it barely damages the skeleton as it bounces off his shoulder.
(META: 19+5 to hit, 1 damage)

The remaining skeletons (2) advance, closing within Rea's reach. She strikes one hard across the head, causing its bones to crack and splinter, but it remains standing and claws at Reis, who only barely fends off its brutal claws.
(META: 18 to hit for Rea, 4 damage [8 doubled for vulnerability to bludgeon], 18 total to hit for skeleton)
Lerikyn finally recalls an important bit of lore about the skeletons as Rea's staff splinters bones. Pulling his small hammer from its sling, he calls out, "The skeletons are weak against blunt objects!" To drive his point forward, he slams his hammer into the skull of the skeleton reaching for Rea. The skeleton's skull explodes in a cloud of bone dust and it collapses to the dungeon floor with the rest of its friends.
The bleeding from her neck having subsided, Cliste waits for the perfect moment to fire at the remaining skeleton with her hand crossbow. She releases, sending the quarrel screaming for its sternum, which it impacts with a dry crack.
(META: 23 total to hit, 8 damage)

Noting the final skeleton, Kjørynreis charged down the hall, eager to finish them off. Uttering a new incantation, his battleaxe glowed a dim blue color. Swinging at the skeleton, his focus on the spell and the skeleton's movements proved to be too much, and his strike missed and struck the wall to his left.
Spotting the perfect opportunity, Silthy ducks into line to see down the hall and launches a final Fire Bolt, hitting the skeleton in the chest and causing it to burst into bits.
(META: 23 total to hit, 9 damage)

The hall now contains the bits and parts of 6 skeletons, animated to unlife by some nefarious magic. As far as anyone can tell, that's the last of them, but a disturbing question remains... What dark force causes the dead to rise and haunt these once-hallowed corridors?
With the fall of the last skeleton, Lerikyn does a short search of the remains. He kicks a few of the bones back and forth down the hallway before he declares, "Looks like nothing worth finding in these ancient remains."
Looking up, he sees Cliste standing over him with a fresh, deep wound in her neck. "Lemme look at that, lass," he says as he gestures for her to get lower. He inspects the wound and calls upon Mystra's power, manipulating the weave to reverse time on her wounds and close them up. (Cure wounds 8)
When he's done with that he whispers, "That was pretty brave of you, but you need to focus on your own safety. Get out of danger and let us soak up the hits. You spot the danger, we stop the danger... got it?"
Silthy will steady her resolve, and try once more with the magic that was taught to her. She releases another beam of fire. The beam impacts with the damaged skeleton!
