Kirinar will use his shield to provide protection to his comrades if they are attacked and are within 5' of him. When it is his turn, he will attack the last zombie. "Ugghhh...there is no honor in fighting these poor dwarves. They are controlled by magics - or perhaps some venom from the flowers...either way, they just need to be put down."

Dr A sets the zombie on fire and the smell of burning rotten flesh assaults your senses. It eventually falls dead.

You stand in the garden on the west side (Area 2)
You continue your search and stumble across the rotting corpse of a human mage who was strangled to death by an assassin vine. A search of the corpse yields a scholar’s pack, a pouch containing 15 gp, and a folding boat.
Kirinar holds up a 12x6x6 inch wooden box that he finds on the body of the mage. "Man, this thing sure is heavy! It weighs as much as if it was made out of metal, but it looks and feels like wood. Looks like the body of a wizard, so maybe this is magical? Dr. A, any insights?"
"Wow, this boat is amazing!" Keyleth says. "This will make trekking through the jungle much faster, so long as there's a river to follow... No orchid though. Hmm. Well I suppose we should circulate the grounds and look at the other areas with vegetation? Should we start with those spots up there?" she adds, pointing north (areas 5B and 5D)

Dr Arbutaveyu searches the body of the mage. What can he tell about him, race, does he have a spell book etc? Perception roll 11, investigation roll 11. He also looks for writing or such that may help him to answer Keyleth’s question.

Timber makes an effort to pinch his nose when they walk past the zombies, to avoid the smell. If anyone looks at him oddly, he grins and says "I may be one for an adventure but these smells are terrible for my weak constitution!"
Then he suddenly turns to Dr. A with what he thinks is an amazing idea. "Hey, Dr. A, Whilst I can't say I have met anyone like you exactly, the ones I have met, you know, the smart and wise type, often have a little animal companion that they use for tasks. Like one man had a raven whilst another used a rat! Any chance you can do something similar to help us find this flower?"
“Ah but my young friend, how exactly do you define lots. For example if you were an Orc, you might say that six is lots being more than they can count on one hand. But if you were some sort of ooze then three is lots. In contrast if you are educated and widely travelled then lots would be 100 or more. So once again I ask you in the spirit of knowing more about your people and their cognitive skills; exactly how do you define ‘LOTS’” Dr Arbutaveyu asks Timber.

The group continues to search the terraces for a black orchid but after a couple of hours have not located one.
You find that the steps in the area (2) go down into short tunnels that allow you to go from one side of the terraces to the other. At one point 3 flying monkeys sit up in a tree and as the party gets close they start throwing monkey fruit at you. Kirinar takes a menacing step towards them but the monkeys simply fly away. You hear them chattering in another tree close by. You find all sorts of strange plants, flowers, roots and berries, but nothing is black.
On the north sides of the terraces (2) you see a tall wall. On the east side a short stairway goes up into the wall under an archway into what looks like a garden area.
On the west side the stairway is collapsed but you judge could climb the wall with little difficulty.
