Kirinar finally starts breathing again...while he thought the town should maybe erect a statue of him one day for his daring deeds and ruggedly good looks, he didn't want to BE the statue! He follows the lady (probable medusa?) keeping his eyes low - just in case.
You follow Zalkoré to the dome shaped building. As you step inside you see a single, large chamber inside the dome that is obviously a royal apartment — or was, centuries ago. Now the bright, floral murals are dim and gray, bits of colored glass are heaped beneath a cracked mosaic, enameled wooden tables are split and tilting, and every bit of cloth is frayed and streaked.
At the center of the room, a long divan stands atop a circular dais. Zalkoré sits herself on the divan. Next to her is a black orchid in a pot.
"Thank you for coming to my palace in Omu. I know the journey was long and arduous, but are not the Peaks of Flame amazing? Here is the orchid. Let us complete the exchange."
"Well my love, that is finished. This surely is a beautiful diamond."
Looking at the group,
"Do you know the way to the palace? Or were you not going to Omu? The gardens here are wonderful, I like to summer here and return to Omu in the fall. But I suppose I must stay here. Is there anything else I can help you with? Or I must rest. "

You back out of the room and close the door behind you. With some high fives around you head back to the south and find Qawasha and Artus.
"I see you have the orchid. I hope you didn't have too much trouble." Qawasha remarks. "Back to Kir Sabal then?"
You introduce your guide Qawasha and Artus to Ransyl.
You start heading back north to Kir Sabal. Three days later you set up camp, its getting late and Artus takes the first watch. The rest of you of drift off to sleep.
A couple hours later you hear a scream from Artus! You awaken to see him pulling a bolt from a crossbow out of his shoulder.
Attack: 13 Damage: 26
"We are under attack! There is someone to the southwest!" 517
Those with night vision can see a lone subject with half cover behind a small ridge (15E) about 50 feet away. Without nightvision you can only see about 30 feet in dim light past the campfire.

Timber jumps awake from Artus's scream. Scanning the southwest, Timber tries to spot the target with his darkvision. Once he has the target in his sights, he pools raw energy into his paws before unleashing it in the direction of the enemy. Chaos Bolt @ level 2
Attack: 17 Damage: 20
Wild Magic: 18
As the energy pools into his paws, it suddenly expands! (69)
Suddenly the energy dissipates and Timber finds the closest cover and tries to hide (He won't actually take the hide action) as he is now Frightened
Not sure what to expect from their visitor, Ransyl sneaks over to a pile of rubble (J8)- hoping to find some cover and a better look at what they are dealing with. He is ready for battle with his shield in one hand and his spear in the other.
He steadies his gaze and throws his spear at their attacker
Attack 12 Damage 3
(If the spear hits, Ransyl will use his distracting strike maneuver to add extra damage to his attack and give his companions advantage on their next attack. Damage 3)

Love God. Love Others. Any Questions?
Dr A backs off and simply follows the party along. If possible he tries to read the various inscriptions in a way that does not slow the party down.

Keyleth stays near the back of the group, holding the box with the diamond in it, as they follow the queen to the "palace".

Timber taps the nearest companion on the shoulder and then points at the Orchid, "Look, there it is!"
"Yes, here it is. A beautiful specimen to be sure."
Zalkoré lifts the plant and offers it.
"The gem and the box please."
Keyleth steps forward and hands the box with the diamond in it to Zalkore, taking the orchid from her at the same time.

She lays back on the divan.
There is plenty of sunlight left in the day.
"We should take our leave, then, o Queen." Kirinar says, bowing and backing. Now that they had what they had come for, it was time to make their exit!
Love God. Love Others. Any Questions?
"I bow to the suggestions of the others but we seem to now have what we need. Shall we continue our journey?" Dr A comments

"Agreed, let's get moving," Keyleth replies. "Straight back to Kir Sabal, or is there somewhere else to stop first?"

Timber can roll another d20 as he would be the one to get advantage due to Ransyl's distracting strike.
