If any name is synonymous with “darkness” and “evil” in Eradon, it is the Empire of Dust. Lying to the east of the civilized lands and ruled by the mysterious Emperors of Dust, the Empire commands a massive army of fiends and undead. Though they rarely perform incursions into civilized lands, when they do, many towns and cities are mercilessly wiped out. The last major confrontation was during the War of Dust, which culminated in the death of the lich Exxat, one of the Emperors of Dust.
The North
The North is less of a nation and more of a net term used the refer to the lands to the north of the Northwall mountains. Home of mysterious tribes of barbarians and shamans, some consider the North to be even more mysterious and dangerous than the Empire of Dust, and even the Underdark. Basically nothing is known about the North, as nearly all who travel there never return, and even if they do, they rarely speak of their experiences.
The Iron Holds
The Iron Holds are a dwarf kingdom composed of many dwarfholds scattered throughout the Northwall Mountains and Bahamut’s Wings. They are xenophobic and fearful of outsiders, a suspicion fueled by the revelation of the duregar’s continued existence after the Shadefall. Though a dwarf of the Iron Holds is by default careful around anyone they do not intimately trust, they become fierce allies once their trust is earned.
Ceurandil
Ceurandil is a independent elven kingdom in the region of Veronis, lead by their staunch leaders, the Wardens. In stark contrast to the Iron Holds, Ceurandil os extremely welcomeing to outsiders, though not to the point of blind trust. Ceurandil is protected by ancient elven high magic, and they seek to annihilate the drow.
Eirendil
Eirendil, home of the Silvanestri elves, is a island off the coast of the continent of Eradon. Ruled by a long line of kings and queens, Eirendil stands as a bastion of elven acheivement. Their mages work wonders only matched by those of Quolith, arcane and primal magic permeates the island to its very core.
Underdark
Before the Shadefall, the Underdark, the drow, and the duregar were considered myth by the populace. but then the Shadefall happened. To this day, no one truly knows what the Shadefall was, except that it allowed a host of drow, duregar, and aberrations to lay waste to the empires of old for a week before retreating back to the vile place from which they came.
Most definitely interested and would love to test a dragonelf for you from ceurandil preferably a ranger but i can play a rogue or a fighter if you prefer
I would like to join as well. Havent created a character yet but I would like to get involved if youd have me. I dont have much experience in pbp or dnd but I have general ideas from watching campaigns. I also really enjoy writing and getting involved with my character.
I feel like I'm writing a dating ad. XD
Edit: Created a general character. Just not susursusure of the logistics such as Xp, Health, and a more detailed backstory. If that helps.
If you are still accepting players, I'd love to join. A character from the Empire of Dust sounds pretty interesting. Just for background, I have been playing D&D for quite a while (but I'm still a bit new to PbP). If you want me to send you a prototype character (or something like that) I'd be glad to.
still interested

Okay, so that’s four people interested. Tomorrow i’ll make the campaign on DDB, and i’ll post Lore Dumps 4 and 5.
I'll PM you my character
