Jorin smiles genuinely, pleased that this won't be the easy match it started off as. Jorin will attempt to get underneath the construct again, this time trying to go a bit lower, grabbing legs in order to nuetralize the spinnable torso. 8
Jorin uses his superior speed and dexterity to get inside the thing’s reach and then his strength to wrap up its legs. It stands in place struggling to move.
Some of the people gathered give a little cheer.
3 rounds of match
1 consecutive round of grappled.
Next? People inside should feel free to post actions if they like, either for color or in six second increments.

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. Here's my D&D stuff. I love it so.
Jorin will drive forward and use one of his legs to hook one of the legs of the construct, (hopefully) causing it to fall to it's back as a result. Athletics: 25
The crowd has grown larger, and there's a collective "Ooooh" of appreciation as Jorin hooks one of the thing's legs and throws it prone. It crashes to the ground, and Jorin stands ready to pounce!
4 rounds of match. 2 consecutive rounds of grapple/prone/failed Str contest favoring Jorin (of 3 needed in typical wrestling matches)
Next round! Jorin?
OOC > Didn't bother to roll for the construct this round, it's Str bonus is +4 so it could not beat Jorin's 25, even with a natural 20 (which don't count for attribute checks anyway, and Jorin rolled one, too). So it just went down. That said, Jorin had to release the Grapple to perform the Shove, so he stands over the downed thing.

With a roar, Jorin will dive onto the creature, driving his shoulder into it's mid section and wrapping his arms around the waist in an to attempt the pin. Athletics! 12

The crowd gives a collective "Oh noooo," as Jorin's foot slips as he dives on the prone construct... Strength (Athletics) check to contest Jorin's 12 grapple: 5

And the crowd bursts into applause as the animated creature misjudges Jorin's dive because he slipped, and Jorin ends up slamming it to the ground!
"Tha's a three count," Magister Stonemarrow acknowledges, as the construct goes limp. "Yuir a feisty one," she nods at Jorin. "Now if'n you'll get off my bodyguard?"
The fight was so quick (less than a minute) that Pascal and Ilena have just begun handing out samples of the Blackbark Stew, but several people in the crowd come over now the fight is over, and gladly take a spoonful to taste. It's all pretty unhygienic (no tiny plastic Costco cups here!) but most people don't seem to care. The stew is gone quickly.

Hildigrim turns away from the window through which he was watching the crowd sampling — and appearing to really enjoy — the stew to look around the taproom again. He begins to be able to see past all the work and gold to what the space could potentially become. He imagines the room full of noisy patrons and Pascal dancing around the tables, completely oblivious to his huge size, and making sure everyone is completely satisfied. He sees himself marching through the front door after another successful treasure hunt, handing his pack to Lif, and taking a seat at the bar to order something cold and wet, his warm, soft bed just a couple flights of stairs away. The halfling realizes he is smiling, and so he takes a deep breath and begins to build a little sweat equity of his own by moving furniture and cleaning up while whistling a jaunty tune.
Jorin stands up from the construct and offers it a hand up, "A strong opponent and a good match." He says wand thumps a fist to his chest, "Aye, Stonemarrow, should you or your great beast find themselves in the Frost Hills and feeling cold, you are welcome to warm yourselves at my hearth anytime."
Jorin then begins milling about the crowd, still half naked. With his shirt off you can see that the pale blue tattoos that worked up his neck cover his entire right arm in a swirling, knotwork pattern.
Jorin overpowering the mechanical guard was quite impressive.
Drusk is glad that Jorin came to his senses after being punched in the face and the family jewels, as he would have been a difficult opponent if he stayed under squid-face's influence.

Magister Stonemarrow's construct picks itself up off the ground as the crowd slowly disperses, many congratulating Jorin on his prowess. She nods at Jorin and motions to the two Watchmen, and they head off eastward along Saerdoun Street, giant animated statue in tow.
OOC > Let's have a cut scene. Each of you tell me what you'll do this evening and then in the morning. It is early evening right now, Pascal has brought home ingredients to prepare a veritable feast to wow potential investor Renaer Neverember, but nobody has ensured Renaer will show up (since he doesn't know about it).

Hildigrim will clean and do what he can around the Trollskull until evening, then head back to the Portal for bed. He'll make arrangements for the morning with everyone, of course — the schedule for going to see Renaer and anything else that needs to be done.
Drusk will also do some cleaning around the Castle Greyskull Road's End until evening, then head back to the Portal for bed. He will check with Hildi and the others if more purchases need to be made before the investor feast, or when everyone should be at the manor.
He will bring all his stuff from the Portal to the manor. Even though the place needs work, he can still use his camping equipment (blanket, bedroll) in his new room.

"Fascinating," Hildigrim says, watching the construct with a critical eye.
The animated construct does not appear to display any intelligence. It is just brute forcing this match.
