Jorin considers the story for a moment, "Aye, eating children is what hags do. You have a keen eye, these axes are of dwarven design, though smithed by my own hand. I trained in the forges of Mithril Hall." he says proudly, "What clan do you hail from?"
The dwarven Magister peers up at Ilena's scribbling. "Hill dwarf, south o' here," she answers Jorin. "Well," she gets up. "Pay yer guilds, don't cheat yer customers, don't eat chillen, you'll never have ta see me 'gin. Nor I you." She stomps out of the place, the door opening for her on its own accord, and begins heading down the stairs.
OOC > In case anyone wants to ask her anything. Otherwise, it is early evening, say 5 pm, Pascal will be cooking, Hildi, Jorin, and Drusk still have one night paid up at the Yawning Portal, and Ilena is at loose ends. What do you do?

Not knowing what to say to the Magister, Ilena simply makes a rough drawing of her and scribbles her name under it. She chews her lip for a moment, thinking.
"Has... has anyone gone to visit the Blackstaff, whoever that is, as of yet?" Ilena pipes up. "Master Volo mentioned that if... Illit... Illi... that tentacle-faced creature that we saw would be of interest to the Blackstaff."
Drusk will ask: "Was there any kind of reward for the recovered artwork or the silver bars that we helped recover from that storehouse?"

"Eh?" she stops halfway down the steps. "What's that? I don't know no thing 'bout a storehouse or some art. Ye can ask at the Palace if ye've misplaced somethin'. Now, d'ye need me ta make up yer beds?" And she turns, not waiting for an answer, and walks out into the street. The two Watchmen fall in line with her, and the 8 foot tall construct spins up and turns to stomp after her.
OOC > Ilena had a question about the Blackstaff...
"Hold on a moment, if you please. It would be to my great dishonor if your war beast was to leave before I could test my strength against it. You did say that it wrestles, did you not"?
Jorin begins removing his shirt, shoes, and other items aside from his pants. He follows her out to the front yard with a hopeful and excited looked in his eye
Pascal casts about for a naked dwarf in Neverwinter, and all he can find is a half dressed human barbarian in Waterdeep. All fleshy humanoids look the same to a lizard, I guess.
The small entourage stops, and the dwarven Magister turns to look the half naked barbarian up and down. She considers a moment, and then nods. The construct turns ponderously, and marches up to Jorin, arms reaching out to perform a grapple.
Strength contest! The construct is ponderous and slow, so Jorin can act first.

Hildigrim relaxes once again as the Magister leaves. After Ilena asks her question, he turns to her. "We made the report. They were glad to hear it. Well, they weren't glad to hear an illithid was seen under Waterdeep, but they were glad we let them know." He crosses to a recently cleaned window to watch Jorin and the construct.
Jorin wraps his arms around the thing's waist, as it tries to break his hold. Strength (Athletics) vs 23: 5
It appears unprepared for his (near) naked assault, and he not only grapples it, but he drives it back and it falls into a seated position in the street, Grappled.
The Master harrumphs, annoyed.
(Next round of Jorin vs. the Mechanical Man! What does Jorin wish to do?)
OOC > Gonna jump in with some impromptu rules for wrestling. Three consecutive rounds (a count of three) of the Grappled condition means the grappled creature has lost. The construct has been grappled for 1 so far. Jorin can hang on (another Athletics contest), or do something else.

Using the body lock to control the construct's hips, he will pivot around to the side and attempt to drive the construct to it's back with a strong cross-face pin. Athletics: 11

"Dwarven make..." Ilena says, turning a borrowed handaxe over, inspecting it more closely. She scribbles something down in her journal.

Jorin does the manly barbarian version of SQUEEEE and rushed towards the construct, diving low to get a body lock!
Athletics: 16

Oh! The construct's upper body spins on it's waist unnaturally, Strength (Athletics) to break Jorin's grip: 19
Having dislodged him, it ponderously but powerfully stands up, lifting Jorin bodily and placing him gently on the ground five feet away.
Two rounds in, the count stands at zero. Jorin?
