ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. Here's my D&D stuff. I love it so.
(OOC: That is another round of 45 damage, and we haven't gotten to Pascal or the save vs. Quillary's spore cloud... I'm going to call it. The group is getting a long rest, and neither Jorin or Quillary can be felled this turn.)
Since the werewolf sneered at Jorin after the initial (non-silvered) axe attack, Jorin returns the favor. Jorin sticks out his jaw, grinning, and allows the werewolf to strike him in the face with the spear shaft. And then another, which only serves to make Jorin's smile wider. Jorin then make an overhead strike with his hand axe, while Quillary clubs with her magic shillelagh, Drusk's magic bowling bowl drops from above, Hildi's arrow strikes (a finger span from the first arrow), and Pascal lobs another rainbow sphere of (roll: 8 ) Thunder shaking the nearby trees.
There isn't enough left of the werewolf to tell who gave it the killing blow.

With the battle won, the Llewyrr elf warrior wipes her brow, scraping off a collection of wetness and flicking it to the ground. There it convenes with the first droplets of rain. She eyes you for a lingering moment, weighing thoughts behind bright hazel eyes. Inevitably she sheathes her blade. “I appreciate the assistance,” she comments with a stern but favorable tone. “My name is Seren.”

Hildigrim crouches beside the fallen figure closest to him and checks to see if it is dead. (Medicine check: 6 — Assuming it's dead, whether I can tell or not.) The halfling stands, picks up the bag with the broken straps, and crosses to the elf, looking at the shortbow with admiration, but also as if for the last time. "These creatures are strange," Hildi comments, looking at the other two bodies, but not examining them. Turning to the elf, he holds out the bag and bow. "Do you require healing?"
Drusk had a good enough History roll to let you know that the Black Bloods are a gang/cult of lycanthropes operating out of the Moonsea Isles, pretty far to the west of Waterdeep. They kidnap innocents to use as sacrifices to spread curses. Not using their bite attacks suggests that they were trying to capture Seren (and the Road Enders) for whatever rituals they are doing.
(OOC: They shouldn't be so far east, except it is useful to keep the module story going. Pretend they are a branch of the original gang, being evil just to be evil.)
Seren has a serious gash on one arm. Drusk still has Cure Wounds, and he is wrapping it with bandages as well. Now that the battle is over, you can see she is weary. "A group of these thugs ambushed me early in the day. I could not shake them for long. Wolves have keen noses, even werewolves I guess... I and my steed, wherever she is now, have ridden far beyond our limits. And it is embarrassing for a scout to admit it, but with the hours of chase, I am lost. Have you seen my horse nearby? And will you be able to direct me to the road to Dynnegall? I must keep going."

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Quillary returns to normal size after a minute of looking about the tree tops. Then she stands a little to the side, watching the elf as the rain starts. Looking up, she closes her eyes as the rain falls, then, if nobody has yet offered, says, "We have shelter not far from here, the others can take you. I will find your horse." Then she turns on her heel and goes the way the horse went, not waiting to discuss anything with the elf.
Survival for tracking the horse: 18 Animal Handling for retrieving the scared/tired/injured horse: 8
If she fails to find or catch the horse, she will try until she succeeds, even if it takes all night. Or if it takes all night, she will return in the morning empty-handed.

Jorin's face drops a little as he shrinks, but that fades quickly. With a soft chuckle he smiles as Pascal saying, "Even though it is filthy sorcery, I do enjoy that spell my friend."
He turns to the scout and gives the silvered handaxe a once over before flipping it over to hand to her, grip side first. "A fine weapon you have, aye. My thanks for lending it to me. I am Jorin, of the Bodt, and my companion Quillary is right, you should travel back with us and rest at our camp. You can be on your way tomorrow after you have rested."
The scout's horse did not move far from where it was previously seen, but it still takes Quillary 15 minutes to find it during the rainstorm. She continues to be a horse-whisperer (despite no formal training), and leads the horse back to the cave entrance.
Seren was anxious to continue her trip to Dynnegall, but with more time to consider, she faces the truth that she is in no shape to travel. She will need to get her strength back first.
She suggests that Jorin and Hildigrim hold onto the loaned weapons. "Those were not the only members of the Black Bloods to inhabit these woods. Although we are not likely to encounter more of them, if we do, you will find those weapons useful for defense. And with this" (places her hand on her other arm where the bandage is) "it will be some days before I am able to use the bow or a second weapon."
Seren is glad to see her horse brought back. After she treats the horse for its injuries, she sits down by the fire that Pascal re-fired. "What brings your group to these woods?"

"We've been hired to find a missing boat," Hildigrim supplies. "Nothing too exciting." He blinks at the elf. "You say you're a scout. Have you seen an errant boat along the Dessarin?"
Quillary sits a little removed from the fire, and drips on the floor of the cave. She does not seem put out, or uncomfortable, and takes the food Pascal has prepared, eating companionably. At some point, she will ask a question of our new friend.
"We are headed to Dynnegall as well, to see about the boat Hildi mentioned. What takes you there?"

I understand that the postal deliveries are intermittent, and work busy at that outpost, but that is too long. If the supply boat hasn't passed through... I was busy patrolling north of Amphail, helping to track down some of the renegade Black Bloods. If only my commanding officer let me leave that duty sooner, so I could go to the outpost..."
