Silvera Brighthelm, a master in the Smith’s Guild, has hired your group to investigate the disappearance of Polla Everforge; the last surviving member of the Everforge clan. The trail has lead you to Everforge Hall, the long abandoned home of Polla’s clan. What will you find inside?
About the Adventure: This adventure is Hall of the Everforge by Kobold Press, part of their Book of Lairs. It is built for six players running level three characters.
This is a dungeon crawl type adventure, so pretty straightforward with several combat encounters.
About Me: I have been playing and running 5th edition D&D for more than three years. I’ve been playing and DMing in PBP for a few months now.
I like to follow RAW when I’m playing with new people, just to keep things simple and fair. I do my best to work with players and give them options if there’s something they want to try.
I’m very active and able to post multiple times a day depending on how the story is moving, but this game might update a little slower than my games usually do because I’m going to try using battlemaps for this one.
Players: I’m looking for six players of any experience level. Also looking for people who are going to check the thread at least once a day.
Time Commitment: This is a one shot, so depending on how frequently everyone can post it should take 6-8 weeks to run.
Content sharing: Unfortunately I am a broke DM and I have no content to share.
Character Creation: For stats you can point buy or take the standard array. You get your basic starting equipment. You can start with any special components you need for a spell you can cast as well. (Like a pearl for Identify, ect)
You can use any race and class from any official published material. Critical Role content is also okay, so if you want to play a Bloodhunter or Cobalt Soul monk or anything like that you can.
What to put in your post -
Character Name:
Class, Race, and Background: This is just a one shot so your backstory doesn’t have to be complex, but feel free to be creative if you want.
Experience with D&D: Both new and experienced players are welcome.
Depending on how applications go, I'll choose players in a few days

Raldaen was most often up in the crow's nest, his excellent vision giving his captain early notice of potential targets, or unfriendly sails. When chasing down a fat merchant vessel, he would remain high and rain shots down on the key crew members amidst the general melee... sometimes even his own if the Cap'n told him to. As loyal as they come, he has been stranded inland after a mutiny where he supported the losing side. His love for the sea hasn't diminished, but for the moment, he is looking for coin to travel to new seas, and search out another Captain.
Experience with D&D:
I played 2nd edition at school, and have picked the hobby back up at the tail end of 2018. I've been playing various PbP campaigns on here since then, as I don't have time to commit to a regular weekly playgroup.
Lucky Silver knows what it’s like to be hunted, even for sport. As a kobold, his underground past was a constant struggle. He sacrificed himself for the clan when hunters came through, lucky his unique pelt and odd bounty request made him worth selling alive. A wizard wanted a servant, and it’s what he became until the master realized the talent the young kobold had. Instead of servant, he became apprentice. With a fateful end of his elderly master however, Lucky had to flee. A kobold among a society was looked down upon, but eventually he found his calling. Hunting the dark or miscrients, like what people feared he was.
Experience: I’d say intermediate to possibly veteran? I’ve played for several years as a player and as a DM, enjoying both sides of the game. I’m a writer and an artist, I love illustrating a good story either in words or on screen. I love a good story, that’s usually why I play.
Im versatile and generally play as support if you’d rather someone fill that spot in the party.
Vengalyn is Warborn hobgoblin, he was born into a war march and blessed by it. His banner was low ranking and fell during the conflict leaving him the only member and holder their fallen and torn Banner. He was raised by the priests of Bargrivyek and still carries their white painted Flail as a symbol of Order. He has begun adventuring to seek a powerful relic to restore his Legion and bring back his fallen Banner.
Fairly experienced Player. Played a one shot back on 3.5 and really got into 5e with some high school friends. Been through some homebrew campaigns/ One shots and have always had a great time. I try to keep up a few PbP and have a workgroup that attempts a weekly session.
Background: Graymar (a member of the Smith's Guild) happily agreed to help find the last member of the Everforge family in hope of not only saving a fellow dwarf but also in learning some of their smithing techniques that are world famous. His family have always been more of tinkers than smiths but his dream is to make his forgemaster ancestors proud and well known.
Experience with D&D: im relatively new to d&d but have enjoy a few one shots, i initially got into d&d from finding Critical Role on youtube and i have loved the game ever since.
Class, Race, and Background: A water Genasi Warlock. I came from the city and turned into a mercenary for hire looking for any opportunity to make a decent buck. He always had a hand in magic and throughout his time as a mercenary has learned many cool tricks especially already being a genasi has helped in his learning.
Experience with D&D: Ive played a few one shots with friends and am in a few pbp campaigns on here.

His mother was a knight sworn to protect a temple, it fell to an orc raiding party and the next year when T'rey was born his mother handed him to the new priests rebuilding and took her own life as penance for failing to protect the sanctuary. Raised in the faith he tries to channel his nature into something better.

Leto has been in the inner workings of governments and religions for most of his life. Being already a bit older, he's now set out to try to get some power for himself, after finding a strange artifact gave him some powers he only partially understands, and a desire to strike out on his own.
Experience: A bit of php on here, and going to be starting my own campaign as DM soon~ Should be fun

He feels he has a destiny to fulfill outside his home and has come to Everforge hall to find it.
