Aura doesn't even look at the fish folk, she was content following the robed figure, and letting them do what they want to do, responding to the party, she makes more clear her opinion. "If what they're doing is wrong, I'm sure someone out there will care and do something about it... They're the ones losing by not participating in the event anyways..."
Caerlan strides off with the group, chuckling at the dragonborn and his antics but trying to take in the behaviour of the others in the group. Walking near Neecy he whispers "easy to get that one to bite isn't it." nodding slightly towards Golver as they follow the mysterious figure.

The party having fallen into line are led to a chamber three flights of stairs down. Each flight the air grows cooler and closer together until finally no natural light can be found. The chamber itself is not lit but the bull masked figure gestures the group inside.
"My only suggestion is...patience and perception will win the day," says the female voice beneath the bull mask.
As the party walks in as they fell in line behind the bull figure they enter the chamber. The unfriendly fish folk, Necey and Golver, then Calaern and Aura as Smee brings up the rear! The bull figure your sure stifles a chuckle before push closed and locking the wooden door than the party watches in horror disappears!
The room is dead still and quiet. It's dark. It's in fact too dark to see without dark vision and those with it make out shapes around the room but nothing else.

Light is cast by both Golver and Smee successfully lighting the room. In this long room shaped like a rectangle. There are six statues, three on each side, holding vials that stretch out over the stone floor under your feet. The fishfolk able to see in the dark hiss again in disapproval at the light being case but continue to look around calling attention to what looks to be a division in the floor from where tge party stands across the room to only other door in sight!
Smee looks around and sees nothing beyond what I've described but is sure the division in the floor is significant!

Golver will make his way very slowly to the edge of the division and look down. Golver will then pull out the steel mirror he had pulled out of his robe the night before and cast light on it as well before dropping it into the hole. The dragonborn will look to see if there is anything in the gap as well as if there is a hidden bridge or anything around.
There is no hole. The flooring the party is standing on at the former door's threshold is one color tile and beyond it where the statues are is distinctly different.
Golver notices after dropping his mirror that it clatters loudly onto one if the differen coloured tiles and then notices a glyph illuminate now triggered! The party then watches as a statue just 10ft away drops its vial onto the floor shattering it!
Everyone please make a CON save DC 13 as stinking cloud fills the room.
Zenith, Golver, Necey, and Smee all cough and retch their breakfast out onto the threshold around them as the cloud spreads! The fish people look unfazed and somehow amused at the party's fate with only Caerlan and Aura remaining unaffected by the stench!
Aura had to react to it at first, but as she gets a bit more calm about what happened, she holds her breath to not take any more of the stinking gas in her body. Seeing the problem that it's causing her group, she tries her best to use Gust to spread wind and clear the air of the of the cloud of gas, doing multiple casts if necessary.
"What is that... what!.. What is that smell!" Golver would shout grabbing his cloak and covering his face. "Look at those smug fish folk!I bet one of them ripped off a bad fish fart" The dragonborn would continue as he starts to gag. "No one look at me! Turn awaggghhhhhh... Awwrrrggghhh!" As projectile vomit gushes from the dragonborn with enough power to force Golver to drop to one knee.
After a few moment of dramatic flailing and vomiting. Gilver would stand up straight and move out of the stink cloud and wipe his face with his cloak before snapping his fingers and making this puke stains disappear. "Alright... I found a trap... you are welcome.... I have a feeling there are going to be many more of those between here and the door. Anyone spot any symbols on the floor that match the statues along the walls?" Golver will ask looking closely at the floors and the the statues and vials they are holding.

"Ew, ew, ew! What was that smell?!"Necey says dancing around trying to avoid the smell before spilling the contents of her stomach at the feet of the others. "What are you two smiling at?!"the halfling barks at the two fish folk. She then hisses back at them as that seems to be their preferred method of communicating.
"Oh, Golver, that was so smart of you. But let's try not to drop anything else just yet."She pulls out the bullseye lantern from her robe and shines it on the six figures.
DM: Can we make any details out about the statues? Does the one that dropped the vial have a glyph that matches the illuminated one on the floor. The illuminated glyph., is it on the tile the mirror landed on?
(I definitally was thinking that there was a ledge and then a wide gap and then the door on the far side. I realize now that it is basically a minefield lol )

Zenith gagged at the smell, before doubling over and losing his breakfast onto the floor. He backed away, trying to get out of the cloud. "Let's not do that again, shall we?" He looked around the room, trying to see if there was anything that stood out, or anything about the statues that matched the glyphs on the floor.
Aura's cantrip does little to the thick cloud of poisonous gas but it does manage to push it 5 feet ahead of the party but it does not disperse it.
While Golver was on his knees he notices that there are glyphs spread throughout the floor, that's to the additional aid of Necey's lantern, in a honeycomb pattern across the floor to the other door. He, however, can not figure out how to proceed upon them.
Necey cannot perceive anything other than there are glyphs.
OOC: Saute you get it but Necey doesn't have a clue!
