Four seats are occupied. A half-orc, two drow (one is Aryalaris), and a human woman remain.
"It's a tome known as Of Bone and Virtue. It's written by the founding members and loaned to a former pupil who....found faith," the other male drow explains to the party.
"Well that sounds straightforward enough, I suppose. Was the cleric known previously? Do the people in the village suspect foul play?" Caerlan asks the remaining wizards.

"Will you be providing us with a seal... flag... banner.. or insignia to show this person that we are working with you" Golver would ask before glancing to his companions. "I mean... otherwise how is this guy going to know we arn't thieves?"
"I would suggest not mentioning the school. The village of Whitestaff seems to think we...," the half-orc finally speaks motioning to the room, " had a part in his disappearance. Whitestaff is a days ride north. We will provide horses but you will use your wits and learning you have to conduct yourselves. Discover the truth about Dedrick Osborne and the tome," she adds.
"As for danger use caution with your conjuring," the human man warns. "The world outside these walls are suspicious at best and murderous at worst for those of us with gifts of an arcane nature," he explains.

The group us ushered out as Aryalaris rushes forward.
"Your first adventure," the teen drow says excitedly! "I wish you luck," he exclaims. "Come by my laboratory before you leave," he adds before rushing off to join the exiting council.
"While I would love to make use of all of my gifts and abilities.... it is good to know I am allowed to use my sword and whip" Golver would say with a smile.
"I would love to have another meal before heading out. Especially would like to see that lovely dwarven lady with her cart full of healing potions." Necey looks around sheepishly. "That last little test was a doozy."
The party is escorted out and into another stairwell away from thw trial areas. The castle is vast and down two no three hallway the bugbear servant stops outside a series of doorways, three in total, and gestures.
"Two bedrooms and a communal space between to gather. The lavatory is at the end of the hall and dinner is to be served at the next sounding of the bell. You may take it in the communal space or the dinning hall with the other students and staff. It's back down the corridor the stairs and to your right," the bugbear nods then turns to leave.

"Oh, yes! Girls and boys sounds like a great idea." Necey joins Kat in the room. She walks over to one of the beds and allows all her gear clatter to the floor. The halfling then falls on to her back in the bed. "Let's have dinner brought here, hmm? I'm in no mood to deal with all the looks everyone else seems to give us when we eat down there."
Kat pats Caerlan on the arm, whispering to him in Gnomish, "It's okay, I'm sure you can come camp out in Necey and I's room if it gets too bad. But give Golver a chance!"
An hour passes and the bugbear returns with your meal. Its a hearty fair and before parting the servant reminds you where Aryalaris' lab is located before taking your empty food trays with him.
