Again you can feel some expression coming from under the robe, she chuckles actually happy most of you were so eager to know more about it. "Don't worry, adventurers, I do have information. My contacts in the Harpers have learned that the cause of the death curse is a necromantic artifact called the Soulmonger. According to their sources, the Soulmonger is somewhere in Chult. Chult is a peninsula ringed with mountains and choked with rainforests. Enormous reptiles, savage goblins, and an army of undead prowl its jungles and ruins. Mapping the place has always been nigh impossible, and nothing is known about the region’s current geography beyond a few miles from the coast.”
"Then we will be needing transportation and supplies. Would you be able to assist with this?" Grungle as knowing that this person is of some wealth and has contacts.

Leah is quiet and dressed minimally in earthy toned clothes. She wears no shoes, and carries no bags. All she needs is her physical abilities, her knowledge of the land, and a small satchel of cooking utensils. she wears her mother's katana across her back, as it is rarely used in battle, and she has a dagger strapped to each thigh. When Grungle went to find her, she had slipped away from all the people to find a spot to meditate. As he was about to give up his search for her, she appeared behind him saying, "Of course i will help you fight this curse. Perhaps it will help me bring back my parents."
She too refuses the wine and keeps to the back of the group, doing more listening than talking, which tends to be her usual approach to a situation.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Cederick is in good spirits despite the sad state of their host. The wine helps to lift his spirits, but looking about him at his companions faces fills his heart. "My friends, it is good that we are here together to aid no only Snydra, but also the world. Helm has truly blessed us. As is written, 'Gather your forces together and smite thine enemies'." Turning back to their hooded host, he continues, "We should be ready to depart quickly. I believe some of my companions may be in need of supplies... and perhaps, a form of conveyance to Chult... is there any assistance you can lend in that regard?"He smiles with a wide grin.
Her figure just shakes her head, apparently chuckling under the robe. "Oh, no, you don't need to worry about that. I had this planned from start. Working from dozens of sea charts, log books, and explorers’ journals, I assembled everything known about the current state of Chult into one map. I’ll provide it to you if you undertake my mission." She picks a roll of paper from the top of a table that was set inbetween you and her. "And about transportation, when you’re ready to depart, I will teleport us all to Port Nyanzaru, the only major settlement in Chult. I’ve been there several times before, so there’s little chance of a mishap with the spell. Once there, I’ll stay with a friend named Wakanga O’tamu. He’s one of seven merchant princes who rule the city."
“If you have been to this Port Nyanzaru, then do you think we can get the supplies we need there?” Grungle ask. He is feeling anxious to get going and cut down some hideous thing for the greater good.

"It does have most of what you'll need, but if you're unsure, you could prepare youserlves right here in Baldur's Gate, it's a much bigger city after all. That's why I'm willing to wait until you're ready." She holds the roll of paper to the group but to no one in specific, as if offering it to them. "That is the map, you can have it now, maybe in case you somehow manage to build a plan while you're working on your supplies."
Leah steps forward with interest in the map. If nobody else grabs it, she will take it and look over it to see if she can get an idea of what lies ahead.
Picking up the map, you're quick to notice the big blank it has in its middle, probably because of what Syndra mentioned, about it being really difficult to map. You also see the outlay of the peninsula's coast, and a few handy pointers to places of interest.
“Now uh I probably have most of what I think I need. But uh, do you know what kind of terrain we’re in for? Are we going to do a lot of climbing or anything like that? Do you even know?”
Grungle looks over Leah’s shoulder at the map “Hmm, lots of mountains. I would say climbing gear would be appropriate.” he says with confidence. “Let’s get what we think we need and meet up at the inn tonight” and with that he heads for the door.

Cederick looks over Leah's other shoulder, and grunts at the map. "Looks like there is still a good bit of exploring left to do." He listens to Grungle's comments on equipment, and his plan for meeting up. "That sounds like a reasonable course of action. 'Prepare thineself for the battle to come.' and all that."Turning to Syndra, he adds, "Were it in my power to heal you at this very moment I most assuredly would. We will gather what we need and reconvene this evening to ensure we are properly prepared. Assuming this is acceptable to you, when and where should we meet you at first light in the morning to teleport to Port Nyanzaru?"
"I do plan on staying right here in my own house until you decide the teleport to happen... It isn't likely I'll be going anywhere without a special reason in my condition." She responds while seeing ready to say good byes to you, by her disposition to call the attendant that brought you here in the first place.
Leah turns to Cedrick, slaps the map against his chest, and says playfully, "Why dont you hold on to this? Im a little short on storage space." She then heads towards the door saying over her shoulder, "I wont be far, see you all soon."
When Leah gets outside, she will scan the area looking for a place to meditate while waiting on the others.
Cederick accepts the map from Leah with a nod, and stashes it an empty map case. Turning back to their host he says "May the power of Helm protect you. We shall see you at first light ready to teleport."He than follows the others out of the room and into the streets. "I shall return to the temple to pray, prepare for the trails to come, and gather some supplies. I shall meet you at the Elfsong Tavern at sundown to finalize our plans." With that he turns and heads off towards the Temple of Helm where he spends the majority of his time in solitude and prayer.
Since the group is sepparating at this part, I'll also sepparate responses using spoilers.
Leah:
The town is always at a pretty busy time, people walking around on all cycles of the day, and this time it's no different, so finding a peaceful spot for meditation is not an easy task.
Roll Investigation or Perception to find a spot on the city for meditation.
Either that, or you can settle for meditating out of the city on the more peaceful forest.
Grungle:
(Well, what are you looking for? There aren't any challenges to meet whatever merchant, you want to find, they're all over the place. I just need to know what you'd like to buy.)
Cederick:
Due to the influx of people coming to your temple because of the death curse, it's surprisingly difficult to find peace and quiet for your prayings, you at least get enough hours of solitude for you to feel like you succesfully paid the due to respect to your faith.
Others:
(If any of you have any other plans, or if you want to decide who you're following, it would be good to hear from you. Unless stated otherwise, I'll take at my liberty to assume you were following Grungle, the only one who wasn't specifically searching to be left alone.)
Spider heads out with Grungle. “Well Grung, if we’re fixin to do this, we better do it right. We will need lots of rope, some hooks for climbing. I’m probably okay with my blade lest there’s something special out there and no armor for me, I don’t know how you can wear the stuff. Probably a few rations of dried meat... we can mostly hunt but we don’t want to be stuck hungry. Better fill a flask for each of us, heh. And since we’ll be out in the wilderness some chalk to Mark our surroundings, flint and steel for fire. And I’ll need some source of light. Maybe a latern and oil or something magical. That’d probably do it. I’d say.”
