It has been a long day of gathering supplies from the temple, discussing his mission and plans with his superiors there, and spending time in devotionals to Helm. As the sun starts to set Cederick heads to the Elfsong Tavern to meet with his fellow adventurers.
Upon entering, he orders a large mug of mead from the barkeep and finds an open table in a corner of the room. Lifting his mug he says in a hushed tone, "Thank you Helm for this mission. I will not fail you." He takes a long swallow of mead, then sits quietly to await the arrival of the rest of the party.
Spider and Grungle easily find the required materials, sticking with a latern and oil for ilumination because of a lack of luck finding magical items.
Leah not only takes very little time to find the perfect place, she also knows the exact route to make reaching such a place really easy. She rests on top of the building, getting well enough time of quiet meditation, until she eventually notices her two barbarian party members making their way back to the tavern.
The party meets together at the Elfsong Tavern, with Cederick already having arrived earlier.
On her way back to meet up wit the others, Leah checks to make sure no suspicious characters are taking interest in her or the others meeting at the tavern.
The tavern conversation goes smoothly and no problem whatsoever happens.
The next day, the party goes to Syndra's house, and the very same attendant as the last day brings them to the cozy room where they first saw the retired adventurer. She's already there, looking away from the party and at one of the maps, she still is covering her face with a mask, and the hood covering the rest of her head. At the sound of the door, she doesn't look away, just responds from behind her back. "The adventurers, right? So, I assume you are ready to depart?"
“I believe we are. One question? I’ve never done this teleport thing, does it have any ill effects?” Grungle ask. He has always been nervous around magic. Seems unnatural.

Cederick stands next to Grungle andclaps him on the shoulder. "Nothing to worry about my friend, we are doing the work of Helm. As the sacred scrolls state: Though your journey may be frought with peril, you shall prevail."He then turns his attention to the map Syndra is studying.
“Well then, I guess we are ready. Let the adventure begin!” He shouts out at nothing really. Trying to hide his nervousness. Grungle takes his axe off his back and holds it casually. “Show us the way” he says to Syndra confidently.

"Yes, teleportation magic can be innacurate at times, but that will surely not happen in our circunstances. I'm already used to the locale where we'll be teleporting to, so there's not even a slight chance of a mishap with this spell."She pauses and walks to the side that had the couch where she was sitting on your first meeting. "The spell only needs my voice to activate, so you'll just sit still, and before you notice, we'll be there." After getting the confirmation from the party, she holds her head low, and starts chanting the spell.
(Next post from me will be in Port Nyanzaru. So if anyone needs to say anything at all before we leave, do so right now.)
(I was planning on having him hike in, but after seeing that Port Nyanzaru is on the tip of the peninsula, I decided that taking passage on a boat might be a better option, I can change it if you want/need me to.)
Snippet finally see his destination come into sight, which I am glad of as I has decided that I don't like the ocean. Hopefully I can find a cheep inn as I wander the streets.
(Once again I can change any or all of that if you need me too.)
"I uh, well I guess we're ready. I dont know how anyone can truly be ready to teleport though, but I guess if this Helm fella is looking out over us then I guess who am I to stand in the way of that. Dang it Grung, this -- this better pay off the in end. I swear, I don't know how you talk -- I dont know why -- ah whatever, I'm ready." A flustered Spider stands still, but still managing to strike a very tough pose.

Gash- Lvl14 Goblin Wizard - The High Court of the Aasimar Queen
You appear in a tropical city under the blazing sun. The familiar sounds of a harbor — creaking ropes, slapping waves, heavy barrels rolling across cobblestones — mingle with voices shouting and cursing in an unfamiliar language filled with clicks, inhalations, and singsongy words that make it sound almost musical. The aroma of unfamiliar spices and tropical fruit mixes with the wharfside smells of fish, tar, and canvas.
Beyond all that, Port Nyanzaru is an explosion of color. Buildings are painted in bright shades of blue, green, orange, and salmon pink, or their walls are adorned with murals portraying giant reptiles and mythical heroes. Every building sports baskets and clay urns of colorful flowers or is draped in leafy, flowering vines. Minstrels in bright clothing adorned with feathers and shells perform on street corners. Multicolored pennants and sun awnings flutter atop the city walls. A crowd of children dressed in feathered hats and capes races past you, squealing in delighted terror as a street performer costumed as a big-toothed lizard stomps and roars behind them. The whole city seems to be bustling, sweating, laughing, swearing, and singing.
Once the group arrives in Port Nyanzaru, Cederick looks around and takes in a deep breath inhaling the myriad of exotic smells the port city has to offer. He turns slowly looking all around and says to the group“What a great amount of hustle and bustle going on here. You wouldn’t think there is a curse lurking somewhere nearby by the sight of this city”. Turning to Syndra, he adds. “M’lady, thank you for the safe transport. Where do your sources suggest we start our investigations?”
As Grungle waits patiently for Syndra's answer, he takes in all that he sees. Grungle never really liked the bigger cities. Because of his size, people assume he is stupid or they want to pick a fight to prove themselves. No honor in the city.

"What does a curse LOOK like? We are dealing with something that we know little about, and should expect the unexpected. I would suggest searching your feelings for answers, rather than relying on your sight. A wise man once said, Your eyes can deceive you dont trust them. I say we find a quiet place to discuss a plan with Syndra. I assume she knows of one?"
Leah looks at Syndra with a questioning yet respectful look, somewhat motioning to lead the way.

As the group takes in the sighs and sounds of the city, and while awaiting a decision where to go first, Cederick investigates the closest street vendor looking to pick up a few coppers worth of the local exotic food.
“Sounds like a mighty good list to me, let’s fetch what we need.” He cheerfully says as he heads off toward the merchants.

Investigation 13
Leah looks for places elevated above the crowd, possibly a tall building to climb to the roof of and escape the noise and busyness to find peace.
