Leah still makes Snippet uncomfortable and he quickly moves out of the way. But knowing The Spider let him win takes out a gold coin and says to her "I can't match a platinum piece, but I wager this gold that he will beat you handily."
"Oh, what good sport! As the ancient texts state: 'Take time to engage in sport as to not dull your fighting senses.'" Cederick says as he watches the good spirited matches. "Once you are finished showing off" he says to Spider, "I believe we should follow Grungele's suggestion and head over to the Lizard to check for info."
“You are still new to me. But you need to know I don’t wager with coin that ain’t mine. And all the coin in this purse belongs to my family. Not that I could match that much anyway. But if your lookin for some friendly competition, I’d happily ablige.”

Gash- Lvl14 Goblin Wizard - The High Court of the Aasimar Queen
After the party has had time to converse and be introduced/introduce themselves to a new member, they head out to the Thundering Lizard.
Looking around for some time, the party eventually finds it located near the place known as the Red Bazaar, the sound of laugh and music being easy to hear from a distance. Entering the tavern, they notice that the bar is almost full, and all the customers are quite loud on their individual tables, there's also a human bard playing his lute on top of a stage. Searching a bit more, the party easily finds one empty table.
Grungle turns to the others "grab a table, I'm going to mingle" he says in a low voice then scans the room for any groups that look inviting.

OOC: apparently I'm blind as a bat and just as stupid :p
He heads for the nearest table. "Hello friends, how's the day treating you? Mind if I sit with you?" He ask as he motions for the barmaid to bring a round of drinks for the table.
Cederick watches with wry smile as Grungle heads off to a seemingly random table of patrons and begins speaking with them. Then, turning to the rest of the group he says "I'll go see if the barkeep knows anything about the curse." He finds an open space at the main bar, and signals to the 'tender. "Hail and glad tidings to you good fellow. I am on a quest, sent by the mighty Helm himself! Pray, tell me good sir, what can you tell me of the source of the malady that is currently afflicting those who had once been snuffed of life, but are with us once again?" He lays down 3 gold pieces on the bar and slides them over to the bartender. (OOC: Reduced GP by 3 on Cederick's character sheet.)
He heads for the nearest table. "Hello friends, how's the day treating you? Mind if I sit with you?" He ask as he motions for the barmaid to bring a round of drinks for the table.
A group of only dwarves are sitting on this table, who were laughing until the barbarian comes around. Grungle Spider hears a grunt from a few of them as soon as he steps closer to their tables. They don't stop him from sitting down, but just because he ordered them drinks, really. They don't seem to be giving him much attention yet.

He lays down 3 gold pieces on the bar and slides them over to the bartender. (OOC: Reduced GP by 3 on Cederick's character sheet.)
The bartender is a young male human, probably on his early 20s, with a shaved beard around his chin. He picks the gold pieces and looks really surprised at Cedrick. "O-oh... H-hm... Are you talking about that ol' curse? I know nothin' about it myself... But I hear they say it's somewhere in the forest... I mean, it'd be hard to believe if it was here in town... I don't really know how I can help myself..."
The only thing resembling a lizard was outside, made of wood, decorating one of the pillars holding the place up, but even then, it did a poor anatomic job at showing what a lizard truly is.
(OOC: Just a bit of flavor for the resident Druid of our party.)
Leah scans the place as they enter, looking for anyone worth keeping a close eye on.

Insight 19
Most people show no interest in just one more group appearing among a sea of people, but with Leah's keen perception she spots two people who were looking at the party because of the group's possession of weapons, and overall strong appearance. The first is a Half-Elf female, who seems intrigued about the group's presence. The second one is a male chultan and he smiles, possibly because he was looking for adventurers.
(OOC: Giving a small hint about what they're thinking because you also rolled Insight really well. Chultans are just the humans native of Chult, they have dark skin and black hair.)
Looking for the tavern keeper or possibly an old gray beard, Snippet walks up and asks "What is the story behind the name of this establishment? Thundering Lizard differently sounds like an adventure of epic proportions! Where there lots of lizards, or one big lizard? Or maybe a pet of the original owner? I am very curious about this as you can see." Saying the last with a wink.

“Twice now it has been suggested that the answers we seek lay in the forest.” He muses to the others. “Perhaps we should head in that direction...”

Most of the dwarves sigh seeing Grungle trying to put money on the table, one of them is hiding his face under his hand, and overall, people still aren't happy with the barbarian's presence. With that said, one of the dwarves eyes the pile of gold with more interest than the rest, and Grungle picks up on that. He calls the human closer and whispers. "Look here, lad. We were all having fun until ye came along and ruined our party... But y'know how it is, I can't not help someone so happy to help me back. And if I can give you one honest hint, ye really shouldn' trust the common folk like ye're doing right now. Me's not lying because I have better stuff to do, but some people find fun in playing pranks on new people like you, when they don't have worse intentions, of course."

The tavern keeper - the same that Cedrick met - was currently in the proccess of handing out a frew drinks as soon as Snippet walked in, make it harder for him to keep track of the halfling talking and the bear to be delievered at the same time. "Hm? Oh, hello there, lil' one... I assume you're a halfling? About the Lizard name... Well, my name's Rugrath Lizard... My father's gramps was one Gurkur Lizard, the first owner of this tavern. Big tough guy, he was a Thundering Lizard as he walked, if you will, and his brother was the party of the tavern, another Thundering Lizard, but that one was more noise thunder, than strong thunder, if y'know what I mean." The explication is unclear and kinda confusing, but you get the feeling this tavern keeper, with his young age, doesn't know the full story behind the inn's name himself.
