When the door opens you can't see anything that would've opened it. Then you look down and can see a short old man with a pseudodragon perched upon his shoulder. Alvins clothes are in bad condition, with small burn spots everywhere. His hair is grey and his eyes are warm brown and inquisitive. The pseudodragon shares the same traits, its wide green eyes taking in everything. "How may I help you?" Alvin asks, smiling friendly.
Namira looked down and for a few seconds she focused on the pseudodragon. Not saying anything yet she moved her eyes to have a better look at Alvin. It probably probably didn't work in her favor and definitely didn't show her good manners, but she was quite curious about both of them. Taking some more time to think, she finally answered him. "Sorry for the inconvenience, but me and my friends are looking for some information and we were told you might be a person we should talk to as it is connected to one of your recent journeys. Would you mind if we asked you few questions?"
Valentia, with her lack of social skills, heads straight to enter his house, without saying anything, or even acknowledging the fact he let them in. She takes a quick scan through the house, but otherwise, stays still close to the door, until the party or the house's owner decides to move in.
The inside of the house smells faintly of smoke. There are half a dozen scorch marks across the room you come into; It is easy to tell the the Pseudodragon has made its mark. In the actual room there is a table with 6 chairs, with a centerpiece of a small bronze statue of a dragon of some sort. Other than that there is a kitchen, only visible through the counter that connects the two rooms. Alvin sits down in one of the chairs, "Please, take a seat."
(Sorry I didn't wait for Namira. Say if you wanted to do anything other than enter.)
"Thank you.", Namira says, takes a look at the statue and sits on the chair on the opposite of Alvin. "Again, sorry for the intrusion, but what you know might be somewhat important, especially for me. We've heard that one of your recent adventures sent you to my kin that live nearby. Could you tell what did you see there? Or if you heard something strange, unusual maybe?"
OoC: Does Namira recognize this dragon from the statue? As one of the old dragon gods or something?
Alvins face darkens, "Oh that one. I don't usually like to talk about that." His pauses for a moment, "To prove that it is that important for you, if you can complete a task for me I'll tell you all that I know." Namira can tell that the statue is one of a blue dragon, however she doesn't recognise it as a diety.
(I'll just act like this delay didn't happen and continue.)
Valentia tries again at social interactions despite her difficulty, which makes her come as abrasive again. "Why don't you tell us what you want? I think it's clear we want that information so why would you need to wait for us to ask you? We'll decide if we want to do it once we hear from you." She doesn't even make eye contact, as she's still examining the room's appearance and decorations.
"My people might not want to see me anymore, but that doesn't mean i'll leave them under someone else's control. If i have to kill something to get what i want, i'll do it. Even if i have to do it only by myself.", Namira says with determination in her voice and looks at Alvin and then at her companions.
(Well, this is embarrassing. I thought at least someone was going to respond in my absence, but I have no problem being the first. Yes, I'm ready to leave.)
As you leave you can feel the afternoon light on your backs. You pass empty streets with all inhabitants either inside or at the central market place. As you get close to the edge of the town, a tall figure comes into view. They are obviously a human male wearing a long red and white robe. As he passes he becomes interested in Glynbalar. Can Glynbalar roll either a deception or performance check.
Glynbalar stares at the tree with interest while he waits for someone to answer the door.

Alvin smiles, "First, let me invite you in." He steps out of the way and holds the door.

Onenestira looks on as she raises a brow unsure whether to follow or not and thus goes into the house a little afraid this is a trap

Alvin says "There's reports of a band of ankheg on the southern edge of the village. I'd like them disposed of before they get to close."
Valentia pauses and tries to recall what she knows about Ankhegs.

"So squash some Ankhegs? Are those like goblins?" Oninestria says as she stands ready to fight.

Valentia can recall that Ankhegs are insect-like monstrosities that can burrow and spray acid.
Alvin nods and says, "If you return to me with an Ankheg's head I'll know you've done the deed and I will tell you all that you desire."
(Is everyone ready to leave. Sorry it took me a while.)

"Let us leave"
(I'm going to assume everyone's ok with leaving)
