Sen takes a look over each path trying to determine which one has been traveled the most.
Survival (?): 23
Sen looks back still somewhat dazed. "I have no idea what those things were. But if they bleed, they can be killed." Sen coils his whip and pulls out two daggers.
The party takes stock and realizes they are more shocked than seriously wounded. Hari looks at the passages and can see no discernible difference between them, other than he doesn't like the look of them. Not like Dwarven tunnels at all.
Once again the faint voice in your head.. "Please hel-" this time it is cut off in mid plea. Your minds are assailed once again by terrible visions, though having endured it once before you seem less susceptible.
Dathyra's ears twitched, and she tried to avoid a second round of the mental bombardment. "If I had to hazard a guess," she said, trying to find something else to focus herself on. "I would say that whatever this is maybe some kind of residual energy from the dryad, her essence calling out to us." She let out a frustrated sigh when she saw the tunnels before them. "Except, where do we go from here? I wouldn't like the idea of splitting up, but do we have any other way of telling us which tunnel might lead us in the right direction, or at least, not into any more danger?"

”Agreed. Parting would be unwise. We should try to determine a correct course from here but we cannot tarry lest more harm befall the poor tree spirit.” Jarlas moves to the opening of each tunnel in turn. Seeing if the cry rings out again at a particular one. He also uses another Divine Sense to see if any of the paths gives of a unique vibe.
Jarlas calls upon his divine sense and can tell that another Fey creature is down the center corridor. He can feel the alien evil vibration of it through his tattoos.
In a hushed tone Jarlas tells the others “I think our path lies this way. I feel a presence not unlike those of the creatures we just faced.” Pointing his trident down the center path.
Sen takes a look at Jarlas and the large trident poking forward, then down at his two small daggers. "Why don't you take the lead on this one. I'll be right behind you."
"Are we sure going straight toward another one of those things in wise?" Entropy questions in hushed tones even as Jarlas begins to move forward. "If we're set on going that way, the least we could do is try to get a look at whatever's ahead before it can get a look at us."

”I am attempting to do just that. However, it seems something is in my eye.” Jarlas is shaking his head side to side and blinking continually in an odd display. ”How does one clean out ones eye when not under the waves?”
"Ah, I always just used a finger. Gently though." Harivaldr looked over their options and muttered, "I can't see any distinction between these paths, but if one of them has more meenlocks guarding it, it's likely a safe bet." Entropy's statement earned an awkward cough from the stout skald. "While I can appreciate the idea of us trying to see what we're up against before it can jump on us, I don't think I'm a particularly stealthy specimen. If quiet's what we need I may be better off as a rearguard..." Harivaldr kept his longsword ready and stood closer to Dathyra. If they were to be surprised again, he figured it better that their best healer remained in good health.
"It makes sense," Dathyra said. "But, I agree that it doesn't feel comforting going head-on towards more danger. Unfortunately, these things are in their element. We're just guests in their territory."

Jarlas, blinking and groping a bit leads the party down the central tunnel towards the fey presence. Sen has his daggers at the ready and is following closely behind. Entropy is in the middle of the group with Dathyra and Hari at the rear. Hari's head pivots from front to rear, then back again. The tunnel is narrow enough that it is effectively single file travel.
Jarlas draws nearer the presence and expects to see something when the Fey presence disappears and you find yourselves in a similar sized chamber that you were just in. Another passage continues, directly on the far side of the chamber.
”Stand ready! I no longer feel the presence. Perhaps it was a ruse. However, I think it more likely a trap. Unless any object I am going to continue forward.” The Triton pauses to see if anyone objects. If not he continues to the far side sweeping his gaze all around the room and watching his feet for any sign of ambush or trap.
Harivaldr kept a careful eye out as Jarlas crossed the room, but nothing happened. He stroked his beard in thought and whispered to his fellows, "Did anyone see anything? I certainly didn't..."He looked towards Jarlas on the other side of the chamber and snatched up his piece of fleece from his pouch. With a short gesture, he made a minor illusion of his own voice whispering near the triton. "Do you think it's safe to cross? Thumbs up for yes, down for no."
With Jarlas' confirmation, the rest of the party continues further across the chamber and into the next passage. As you make your way down the dark passage you can almost feel the Meenlock's taunts and evil hunger tickle the back of your mind.
You enter into a larger chamber. Those of you with dark vision will gauge the cavern to be 60' wide and 30' deep.
There is something suspended in 20' in front of you. Tendrils of rock from the ceiling are wrapped around what looks like a woodland fey creature. She is hanging upside down in the rocky grasp. She looks bruised, bloody and tortured and you can not tell if she is alive or dead.
Sen squats down and will remove a torch from his pack and start to light it. "There's something hanging up there in the center. Some type of humanoid." Though he has dark vision, he finds having full sight an advantage. "Keep a watch out. Something's not right." After getting the torch lit, Sen finds somewhere to stick it in, either the ground or a crack in the wall. Sen removes his two daggers and makes his way to the center to assess the creature. "Hail and well met!"
