Having just dodged the flying furniture Rhomorn decides it would be prudent to cautiously step forwards into the building, calmly raising his shield before himself. As he enters he says, in a steady voice, "Whoever you are making this ruckus in here, On the authority of the Watch I hereby command you to cease your activities at once!" Placing a hand on the hilt of his weapon he then exclaims, "I shall not ask again!"
Rhomorn cautiously enters the with Zailorh cowering behind. No more furniture comes sailing at you as you cross the threshold...for now.
As your eyes adjust you see that the tavern is of modest size, about 50 ft wide and 50 ft long. The ceiling is a V-shaped roof that is fifteen feet high at its apex. Despite your sight needing to adjust from the sunshine outside, the tavern is fairly well lit with candlelight from table candelabras and overhead chandeliers.
There are four dining tables in the main area of the tavern. At the south end of the room is a long bar about thirty feet wide. You can see an unknown number of people cowering behind it, occasionally peeking over the bar to look then immediately ducking back down behind it.
Shards of splintered furniture lie everywhere.
Sprawled across the table to the southeast is an large, bright red octopus. It is flailing wildly about, kicking over furniture and throwing any chair it can grab across the room.
Upon seeing the large octopus Rhomorn burst out in a genuine and deep, hearty laugh. Turning to his companion he says, "Not quite what you expected eh!" His deep voice rumbling across the room. "Well my friend," he booms, "seems to me that we are about to capture ourselves an octopus!"
With that, he marches over to the octopus, shield in hand - but battle-axe in sheath - and rather promptly and unceremoniously punches the Octopus in the face.

Zailoth utters words of power and three darts of light flash from his hands and steak towards the octopus, smashing into it's body. Enraged, it flings Rhomorn across the room towards the source of the agony. The dragonkin smashes against the wall and lands unconscious on the floor behind the bar.
Wall damage: 1
It then roars, shaking the tavern and causing mugs, plates and flasks of alcohol to clatter to the floor around you.
Opening its maw, it spews forth a steam of fire that smashes into the bar, lighting it aflame. The air around you becomes almost unbearably hot.
You hear screams and shouting from outside of the tavern, clearly the proprietor was watching your progress through one of the windows and has flown into hysterics at seeing what is befalling his establishment.

Zailorh keeps back out of the way of the door thinking to call in but wondering if anyone will hear him.
Hmm...
Ooc I'll stay in a defensive position while I ponder for a round, prepared to act of anything happens.
