"I wouldn't say no to some healing," Rethan responds. "He poked a few good holes in me." He looks at the map. "I vote we head back and get some sleep, then head over in the morning. I doubt a lot will change between now and then."
(It's some time in the night at this point, correct?)
(Let me know if your character sets off to do something else on this day.)
The group manages to grab more than a few hours of sleep (all characters had a long rest), rising to another scorching day. After a sparse breakfast, the group heads out again, this time to the city of the dead. It is an expansive public park, open to the public from dawn to dusk. Mausoleums dot the landscape of gently rolling hills, large, shady trees, and manicured lawns.
"This is amazing," Laniel says as the group navigates through the park.
It is barely mid-morning and the sun is already blazing hot. Even the shade only offers a brief respite from the ever-warming day. Before long, the group finds themselves in front of a large, well-cared for Mausoleum with CASSALANTER engraved at the top in large, ornate letters. The Mausoleum is, unsurprisingly, locked.
Laniellooks a little nervous. "From what you said about the Cassalanters, they are decent people," he says. "I am puzzled as to why Bel was sent here. And breaking into their family tomb feels so very disrespectful. And in broad daylight no less."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Morph nods agreement,
"It is unfortunate, but we don't plan to desecrate the tomb, just to remove what wasn't there to begin with."
Morph looks around to make sure no one is nearby.
Perception check to make sure no one is watching: 11
If Morph is happy that no one is nearby and watching the group:
Morph will cast Silent Image. He will create a 15ft wide 5-10ft deep fake entryway that duplicates the existing design, but extends it out, to give the group some cover to work behind.
"There, we can work on gaining entry, without anyone watching."
Morph steps into the illusion, disappearing from view. A second later his hand extends out and gestures for everyone to follow.
If Morph detects someone watching:
"We have company. We way want to wait, before we try any break and enter."
Before Morphcan step into the illusion, a middle-aged couple walking their dog comes around the corner.
"See?" says the woman, holding the leash of the small dog. "I thought I saw something going on over here."
"Yes, dear," says her husband. "You still have excellent vision."
The woman moves closer to the mausoleum, ignoring the adventurers altogether. "Does this one look different to you from the last time we walked this way?"
"You never like to walk this way, my dear," her husband says.
"Oh shush," she says, and shoves the leash into her husband's hand.
Then the woman turns and scrutinizes the mausoleum entrance that Morph has created. She is clearly trying hard to remember what about this structure looks different to her.
"I think," the woman says at last, "The Cassalanters planted a new tree here." She points at one of the trees near the tomb entrance.
"You might be right, dear," says her husband.
The woman takes the leash and looks her husband in the eye. "I am right," she says. "Now let's go. It has gotten much too warm for Miss Spritzles. Do keep up, dear."
As they walk past, the husband tips his hat. "Good day, gentlemen. Sorry to bother you while you're working."
After they leave, silence falls around the mausoleum and the party quietly slips into Morph'sillusory entrance.
"Okay," Laniel says. "I guess the next part is up toRethan."
(Did Mal come iwth us? I feel like he'd be the better option for this part, but if he's not here, Rethan will give it a shot. Went so well last time after all :P)
Titusstands on guard with his back to the rest of the party. He was already hot from the heat of the sun beating down on them, but the added anxiety of breaking into a tomb and possibly being spotted by passing citizens make his heart race. He was uneasy with the situation, and this was visibly evident upon seeing him. However Titusremained quiet, and dutifully stood ready to follow the party into the tomb, or make a quick exit if necessary.

A rapechoes around Maland the surrounding park. Some wildlife flutter and scamper at the sound but then quiet falls on the park again. And the lock clicks, unlatching. With a gentle push, Malswings the door open into the musty mausoleum.
Inside, a family emblem is emblazoned on the floor between four ostentatious marble coffins. The coffins are engraved with the names of Cassalanter ancestors. None of the coffins have been opened any time recently as the dirt and dust coating each of them reveals. Footsteps crisscross the floor of the tomb, however, indicating people have recently been here. Their trail leads both downstairs into the catacombs and back through the entrance Mal just opened.
Morph easily finds the footsteps matching the construct which are somewhat trampled by other humanoid footprints. Like the other footprints, Bel's heads downstairs and also back through the entrance Morph just entered.

Morph doesn't mention the map or any of the other items, just keeping them with his things.
Once the Watch are gone, he hands the map to Laniel, and responds to his question,
"I don't know, do we want to head there now, or do we head home and check it out in the morning?"
Morph looks around at the others, to see what they want to do.
While his friends decide what they want to do, Morph checks everyone, to see how injured they look.
"Mal, Rethan, you guys want some healing?"

(Knock was my plan anyway .)
"Surely we could just go in if we knocked first, right?"
Morph looks at Mal with an expression that says, what have you been drinking.
"Ahh, unless there is another friendly ghost inside, who can unlock and open the door for us, I don't think knocking is going to help."

Mal shrugs. "You never know...knock knock."
Mal walks up to the gate and taps it once, lightly. (thus casting knock on the lock)

Morph tenses as Mal's knock echo's around the graveyard, looking out through the illusion to see if anyone comes to investigate.
Seeing no one coming, Morph relaxes somewhat.
"Thats some knock Mal. We are lucky no one seems to have noticed or cared about it."
Morph follows Mal into the mausoleum.
Noticing the footsteps, Morph investigates, seeing if he can workout which ones may have been made by Bel.
