Aegis interrupts the conversation after his gears spit and whir. He turns his head back slightly to the table.
”A typical day in the tavern, Master Standobras, nothing outside expectations. However, there is a painted human man making small ruckus on the main floor.”
Aegis points at a bald tattooed male hurling curses at the table where Yagra sits enjoying her ale, smirking after winning the arm wrestling contest.
“Yagra rarely is unfair in her contests, from my gatherings. Perhaps we should intervene, ma’am?” Aegis looks to Ira expectantly.
Splendid! I’m so glad to see you’re all having such a good time, absolutely delightful it is. Well, as the old adage goes; my work here is done! So, if you will all excuse me, I shall let you enjoy each other’s company while I work the room and see what has transpired recently in Waterdeep, conspiracies and all... In fact, I think that I shall start my quest by chatting up ol’ Jalester over there, seems he could use the company. At that, Standobras stands up, pats Gaz on the shoulder as one does a good friend, and heads off to engage Jalester Silvermane in conversation – grabbing two ales directly from Durnan and, along the way, asks Bonnie to make sure his friends Gaz and Game are well looked after in case they’re too shy to ask for more food or libations. With a clear conscience and his disarming smile, he sits down with Jalester in order to get all the latest information one could ever want about recent events in Waterdeep…and then some!
Update (wrote the above before René's reply): Before heading off, Standobras will say ''thank you Aegis, as sharp-eyed as always I see, thank you for that, I'll make sure to keep an eye on it'', turning to Ira he says ''I advise against getting involved beforehand sis, I think Yagra can handle herself quite well, it's the tattooed man that should be worried I think. besides, that what Obaya is here for, we wouldn't want to cheat Waukeen out of well-earned coin now would we?''

Game would pause for a second and turned his head to stare at the lady with a sort of deer in a headlight look, though he knew the question was coming he had to play off surprise. He needed some time to try and roll through her questions and insure he didn’t say anything Wol would disapprove of. It wasn’t his first time. Instead, he engages Jalester in conversation whilst positioning himself (with his back to a wall if possible) in a way that allows him to see what is happening in corners and areas far away from the brawl rather than in its vicinity. Whether or not the elven maiden had more questions for the Tabaxi or not. Game would suddenly perk his radar dish ears towards the noise he could barely hear. He immediately froze, head shooting up to the extent of his neck and peered for the possible trouble. Then when he realized a possible brawl may be coming. Frantically taking notes, significantly more than you could possibly have said, the elf looks at Gaz and Game as they say their parts, finally realizing that Standobras has actually left. "Where'd my brother go?" she asks the two, scanning the immediate surroundings before returning to her parchment, as if some idea has taken hold of her. "Waukeen, Chauntea... Yondalla. Boring, but understandable."
She starts making amateuristic sketches with the ink [[19]]. "Yes... Yes... That'll do nicely." she notes upon finishing. "Now why are the two of you wolfing down your food again, am I missing something here?"
She looks around, finally settling on Aegis, "I was deep in thought and motion, what happened?" She's clearly forgotten she was served food as she takes another sip from her drink, now realizing it's actually alcoholic. "I need to do something about that..." she mutters under her breath, scanning for Bonnie.
Downing the fish, delicious crunchy bones and all, with a hefty swig of ale Gaz finally takes a moment "there's a scrap building up downstairs, so eating quick just in case isn't a bad idea, also its the best meal I've had in months. As for your brother, he went downstairs to catch up with a bud" and so the goblin continues his hamster like chewing.
With the crowd so thick around the fight, it’s hard to see what’s happening until the circle breaks and Yagra stumbles back. The bald man is unconscious on the floor, but the other four humans have been wailing on the half orc with their fists and one final strike sends an unconscious Yagra sprawling over a nearby table.
At this distance, Standobras can see that the tattoos covering the man’s scalp are all eyes of various colors and shapes.
Quiet falls over the room as the bartender bangs a fist on the counter. A man of few words, Durnan simply points to the door and says “Out!” with a fierce scowl. The four humans gather up the unconscious man with the eye tattoos all over his head and carry him out.
Now that the shouting has stopped, the whole room hears the vicious growl coming from the entrance to Undermountain and turns to look.
Standobras and Aegis are watching as a hulking creature climbs over the lip of the well. It is a monster with green skin, tangled black hair, and bloodshot eyes. It bears its yellow teeth and howls as people scatter.
Those of you who are upstairs listening hear fearful screams.
There are a half a dozen bat-like creatures attached to the monster’s back, and another three circling it.
Only a few people go for weapons instead of running, first and foremost among them the bartender Durnan, who shouts, "Troll!" and reaches for something under the bar.

As they stand at the balcony of the third floor, Aegis looks down and says over their shoulder, a touch louder than before “I believe I no longer have a choice ma’am. Activating Watchful Order protocols.”
Aegis’ forearm flips inverse, their hand now where at their elbow revealing a circular opening where his hand used to be. A globule of alchemist fire forms and immediately shoots out, hurtling toward the troll.
Aegis' firebolt launches right into the Troll's face. It screeches in pain.
Without looking to see who did it, Durnan yells, "Good. More fire." He pulls shining greatsword out from under the bar and vaults over it, running into melee with the Troll.
Durnan swings the sword furiously, only one of the cuts drawing blood. Spotting Standobras and Jalister he'll say, "Get the Stirges!"
That brings us to Ira. You are sitting at your table up on the third floor, but you can hear the commotion and just heard what Aegis said and watched him throw fire.
Grabbing her shortsword, she'll walk over to the ballustrade surveying the chaos below. Until her eyes catch those of the troll, "How dare you..."
As she lifts her arm light will gather around her arm, starting at her left shoulder, twisting around her arm making its way to her clenched fist ever darkening until a bolt of near blackness erupts from it, sucking up light as it flies.
