I can't see a damn thing, Nat yells. Should I send the wind in your direction to clear the smoke, or would that make it worse? He continues to move up the passage at a decent rate, though he struggles to see where he's going; for now, the Gust of Wind is pointing back along the way he came, in order to slow down the pursuers.
Drake would skitter towards the exit, and after seeing ret erupt into flames and fall to the ground, he would rush over to the halforc and slap him across the face while casting cure wounds. "Get off your ass! We gotta go!" He would shout in the face of the half orc before continuing towards the exit.
Thanks for the responses, folks, calls Nat sarcastically. That really helps a lot. As he reaches the door to the exit and sees the flame, he casts a quick Cure Wounds on himself (8) and dashes through (30 feet movement, 30 feet action to dash, 30 feet bonus action to dash), keeping the wind gusting behind him as he goes.
(OOC: I don't really know where I am in the mix as far as initiative and position.. I didn't think Drake was in a position to answer Nat's question. I would think wind would make the fire worse however)

lol, don't worry about it - it's RP, not a dig at you guys. Nat is the centre of his own little world, and doesn't fully appreciate that everyone else is desperately scrambling for their lives as well!
Duc darts into the flaming tavern. There's muffled shouts and sobbing from a room with the door blocked by fallen debris. The tarven is soon to be an inferno! Duc reaches the door but it's on fire and blocked by debris.

Sometimes a Nat 1 tells a better story than a Nat 20 ever could.
Nat is chasing, trying to keep up with the group and trying to blast air at the chasing enemies. I can't really post more than that - I don't have a clear sense of where he is in relation to the others or what the layout of the surrounding area is.)
Drake would push his way through the burning roo.s, staying mow and using his small size to stay under the smoke. When he notices the blocked doorway he will look for a window that he could try to jump through it break...
Hearing the fear in the people behind the door Duc pauses and looks at the debris, still holding her breath the genasi tries to remove the blockage so she can get the door open while the Drake looks for a window, if she can catch Retiog's eye she will gesture for him to help her. If the smoke isn't so bad she'd have problems breathing she'll call out to him to.
OOC if we are looking for Strength/Athletics rolls I'd rather Duc helped Ret, than the other way around so if Saute is OK with the plan then he could roll, otherwise Duc will roll on her own.

Vhon - Level 2 Warlock - What shall become of the Drunken Sailor?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Retiog is about the smash through the nearest window when he catches Duc's eye. "What are we doing? We don't have time for this," he says coughing through the smoke filling the room. He then starts to clear the debris around the door with her help.
Retiog easily clears the debris from the front door as the pleading and crying get louder from the storage room about 30ft away. The party has a clear exit as Retiog opens the door into the street to find a line of dock folk lining up with buckets of harbor water attempting to put the sure out and keep it from spreading to other buildings. There is no sign of the city watch!
Drake can't see a single window through the smoke and flames!

(Not sure where we are in initiative here...)
Retiog picks himself up off the ground and looks wearily at his path ahead. With a snort, the half-orc charges forward into the fiery tavern.
Stand: half movement used, Action: Dash 30', BA: Dash 30'. 75' total movement towards the exit.

Duc charges through as well, after steeling herself to withstand the flames (second wind 11) "Let's get out of here, move, move, move!"
Movement and dash as an action for 60' total movement.
