Unable to find a window, the small kobold would try to make his way towards the sounds of crying. "Damn it!... I am going to get myself killed..." Drake would growl to himself as he makes the stupid decision not to bolt out the door.
Retiog clears the storage room door and finds a barmaid craddling another who's obviously dead while the old bartender looks like he's nearly dead full of crossbow bolts. He's still cursing the crying girl however and gives Retiog as well as Duc a warning look as if he can stop them.
"Please let us go," the barmaid holding onto the dead girl pleads.

Drake would quickly move to the old man and grab him by the shirt. "Get off your ass! we dont have time for you to lay here and bleed to death!" The kobold would growl as he casts cure wounds9
Struggling to lift the old man, Drake would look to the woman. "what does it look like we are doing!? Do you know how to get out of here? he would shout
Retiog finds the front door. The large bartender is unsteady on his feet as he rises holding his gut full of knife wounds while the sobbing barmaid continues to sob. The tarven is still an inferno and outside the shouts of dock dwellers trying to curb the flames can be heard.
Retiog athletics check. ANYONE can help giving advantage but risks fire damage.
Nat?
The hobgoblin and Orc disappear back down the steps, not following the party into the inferno!

Nat drops his spell as soon as the orc and hobgoblin give up the chase. He will rush to close the gap with the party. If he's able to catch up and lend a hand then yes, he will assist Retiog and take the fire damage.
"Good job Ret"Duc gasps as she leaves the building patting the half orc on the back, as she closes with him she whispers "Let's get out of here, ignore the clergy, I reckon - there are plenty of places to hole up while we work out what the hell is going on." Squeezing past the clerics the genasi moves away from the crowd looking for an alleyway or side-street to get down, trusting in the others to follow.

Nat does indeed follow, giving a suspicious scowl at the alleged cleric before heading for the comforting embrace of the shadows. Somewhere far away from this mess,he mutters in agreement.
He looks up after a moment. Is Duc still wearing the Order's cloak?
Nat edges up to Duc. I'm not saying it won't be useful later, but you might want to take that bloody cloak off. Kinda puts a big target on you. And anyone travelling with you, of course. He grins, then goes back to looking around nervously for anyone watching them, following them, or potentially a threat to them. Perception22
Duc nods, a slow blush coming to her pale cheeks "I should have thought of that myself, good thinking." she says removing the cloak and stowing it in her pack as inconspicuously as she can.

"I'll be fine. Don't touch me." Retiog waves the clerics off. "Those two are more in need," he adds motioning to the those the group pulled out of the storage room. Without another word he turns and continues after the others.
The Sunites move away from the party towards the tavern workers. As the dock dwellers work to put out the flames.
Nat notices an odd grouping of children that aren't with any adults. They are staring at the party and not the fire. There are two or three of them but they disappear into the crowd quickly before he can say a word to the others.

Shit, says Nat with real feeling. Some kids, watching us. Whatever. Nothing we can do. Need to get away, and cover our tracks.
(Once we're out of the immediate area of the burning tavern, i think we should attempt to stealth and lose anyone who might be tracking us. Any ideas where we're going? Nat is a newcomer to the city and doesn't really know anywhere...)
