"I'm not. I never said I was," Gimble grins. "What gets the job done but he..." The half-elf pauses to gesture at Nat, "did seem rather serious," he adds shrugging. "Nice work in there," he adds. "Ready for the next stop," he asks moving towards the next collection spot.
From the outside it looks like an apothecary shop.
"I've got this one," Gimble says gesturing for the party to remain on the street before going inside.

Maybe we just report back and see if they ask us to sort it out then." Duc eyes up the shop "I'm thinking I could do with some apothecary-related help for some aches and pains I've been having" she turns to enter the shop after Gimble "Good work in there by the way, especially you Nat."

Retiog's sneers at Gimble's lack of concern. "I would think it would be best that our customers would have the means to continue to pay." He gives the genasi a nod before she walks in. "Let us know if this one gives him trouble." The barbarian leans against the wall near the door.
"Your job is to collect. The city watch and who it hussles is an Empire matter. I'll pass it along but honestly confronting them is above my pay grade. Happy," Gimble explains more fully this time. "You can play detective all you'd like. I percure things, that's what I do," he adds before going into the shop.
As he and Duc enter a elderly human woman rushes to greet them. Cordial words pass between Gimble and the elderly woman. She offers up a bag of coin and Gimble takes it. The old woman then gives Gimble some vials which he returns to the empty spots in his bandolier.
Duc perception check.
Gimble then gives the old woman a deep bow before Gimble ushers Duc out of the shop into the street.
"Two more and we're done," Gimble gestures ahead to the market looming in the shadows of the docks having made a U shape trek back to the docks. Several fish mongers and other sellers hock their wares but Gimble passes each of them before pausing at a stall full of copper pots and pans as well as various other metal items.
"You're on," Gimble says to the group eyeing Drake and Retiog. "Maybe we should try letting one of you negotiate," he grins.

Drake will nod to Retiog. "Yeah sure, I can take a stab at sweet talking them" The kobold would say as he draws a rusty short sword and makes a quick stabbing motion before sliding it back into his belt. A moment later the kobold would bounce his way into the shop, pulling a copper pot from a shelf and carrying it in his arms before approaching the shop counter. Placing the pot on the floor upsidown, the kobold will stand on it to get a better view up over the counter. "Hey! You run this place? I need to talk to the owner about something important!" The kobold would shout as he practically climbs up on to the counter, leaning heavily on it to the point where his feet are no longer resting on the pot he had been standing on.
As the kobold charges off Duc whispers to Gimble "So you paid her for the vials or you are a kind hearted soul who tops up the old dear's contribution when she's light?" fixing him with a stare as she does.

"Yeah.. about that... " The kobold would say as he draws one of his rusty shortswords and holds it in front of his face. The kobold would look to the shopkeeper.. then to the blade... and then to the shopkeeper again. "You see... What I've been told... is that you still owe us our due" Drake would saw as he takes the tip of his rusty shortsword and uses it to try to pick out a piece of meat from between his teeth from lunch. "You understand why you pay us right? I look around and I see a lot of metal... good metal... metal that could be re-purposed for all kinds of things.." The kobold would say as he pauses for a moment and pulls the shortsword from his mouth and points it to the shop keeper, as he leans heavily on the counter, looking rather relaxed. "Yeah.. kobolds like myself... well there is nothing we love more than some nice scrap... and well.. I lost count of how many brothers and sisters I got... you wouldn't believe how quickly kobolds can reproduce ya know... ANYWAY!... I think I heard a few of the more shifty siblings........ I heard them talking about possibly ransacking a place like this... hell.. it might have been this very one... but they respect me and I told em that you all were under our protection.. and that there would be no need to kill you and your family and steal every piece of metal and scrap in this place before burning it to the ground.. " Drake would narrow his eyes and look hard at the shop keeper before sliding his sword back into his belt. "But... If you don't wanna pay... and you aren't under our protection anymore... well then... I guess I will just let the family know that whatever happens to yer shop is none of my business....
Retiog passes behind Drake and positions himself next to the shopkeep. "We hear you may have a side business with that cart you are running around the city as well? You may be good for this place, but you still need some protection on that, yes?"

"OK, have it your way" The kobold will snarl as he is ignored... He will step off of the pot and pull a torch from his bag and light it before pulling another torch form his pack and lighting it as well (using the lit torch), holding it in his other hand. "Since this place is under protection and your cart isn't, I am just going to check it out... give you a free estimate... I just sure hope nothing bad happens to it though... It has been awfully dry lately... Fires seem to pop up out of no where!" The kobold will shout over his shoulder as he makes his way out of the shop holding both torches. His eyes almost solid black shining through tiny slits as he glares back towards the owner for a moment on his way out. "No one ignores Drake... Teach him not to take me seriously.." He would mumble under his breath loud enough for those near the door to hear.
"Uh Drake," Gimble calls out gesturing at a troop of city guard on the dock. "Subtle are we," he adds frowning.
"Seriously please," the store keep rushes after Drake. "Here...here," he adds pushing a bag of coin to Gimble. "I don't want anymore trouble from you or the gaurd," he adds as Gimble sighs.
Taking the coin Gimble nods.
"The cart is apart of your business. We protect your business end of story," Gimble adds. Turning to the party, "we should move," he adds motioning to the guard heading towards the party.
The last stop is a draper's shop. Through the front window the party can see fine suits of clothing displayed throughout the shop. In the shop window too is a small platform a stout human man being fitted for a new set of clothes by a gnome moving about on a stool.
"Oh well this will be interesting...the man there," Gimble says frowning pointing to the human man inside, "he's going to hustle our gnome friend there. How do we propose we help? Two birds one stone" he asks curiously.
