She takes a step back from the well and stands next to Breez. "Good to hear. One would always say that a lot is going on in a port city like Waterdeep but right now it is no understatement. I believe you can see that we all feel passionately about changes that need to be made for the better of the cities people..." she shrugs "and somehow that all seems to start at the moment with opening a tavern? The ways of Mystra are indeed mysterious."
She smiles at Breez. "I can feel we will get along just fine. So you said you are of a monk order? I do not really know much about monks. Elturgard is a kingdom grown from the passions of pure religious belief, with many of our heroes being of different paladin or priestly orders who seek to bring law and order to the lands under the guidance of the Creed. The Hellrider's and Companion's protect the kingdom...ohh Breez. You should see them march out on horseback, banners flowing in the wind bearing symbols of Mystra, Torm, Tyr, Amaunator, Helm. Ohh and the twin suns over Elturel..." she says, drifting off as she thinks about her homelands.
Breez lets off a slightly smile as he hears her passion for her homeland. He then continues on to address the Monk Order and the Horseback riding she mentioned.
"It sounds beautiful Phaedra. I was always one to enjoy the beauty of nature. Where I'm from, we do our best to live with nature. Unlike some cities I'm sure you've encountered before, where they instead destroy it. Where I'm from, if there isn't space for a hut because of a tree, then we don't get a hut."
Breez, wanting to bring slightly more comfort to Phaedra will then wave his hand by her, causing a slight breeze to run by her. Hoping to cause memories of the wind blowing in her homeland, he then continues on.
"Where I'm from, we have a temple that we carved out of a very large, dead tree, this is where I trained in the monk order. Some monks train in the martial arts where they go off to become guards, others train in healing arts and become priests. I always wanted to help people, but I wanted to be more hands on, so I trained in the martial arts. Unfortunately however, I do not know much about riding horses. Where I'm from, we do our best to not domesticate animals, so we never really learn how to ride horses."
Breez places his staff on his back and takes off his backpack, he begins to ruffle through it, getting frustrated as he digs deeper and deeper.
Bason smile grows big as Elon asks. "Well, it looks like they are taking awhile. Let's go in, and I can tell you and show you!"
Bason will enter the manor while speaking to Elon. "Mead is pretty simple to make. All you need, really, is some honey and water, then what ever other flavors you want to add. I managed to pick up some Blackberries and some sage. That should do well. But you can't just go throwing these into a pot and going at it, no. All you'd end up with is sweet water. No, what you need is a prayer to Hanseath, the bearded one, and a good Stiring Stick!"
Bason will go into his Brewer's Supplies and pull out a 2.5" thick, 2' long stick carved with dwarven runes on it. "Me Pa brought this to Waterdeep with him when he came here. This was blessed by a priest of Hanseath. It's key to making good CrimsonBrow brews! But anyways, you wanted to see how it was made, so lets have at it, shall we! First step when making a new brew, cleaning!" With that, Bason will go into a very long winded and detailed lecture on the brewing of Mead. While he's talking, he'll start a fire in the hearth, then get some water boiling. He will keep talking unless you stop him.
"That sounds like a very unusual place, well at least from what I am used to Breez. I have always lived in large cities, back at home or here in Waterdeep. I would say that you lived in a small village from the sounds of it? Ohh and don't worry about riding, I can not say that I am very good at that either, plus I don't own a horse."
Phaedra looks back down the well, "Are you all coming up or what? Vassa, Kestrell...Silver? The others would be back at the house by now..."
"Sorry, Kes. Thought I heard that noise again. Just a little jumpy I guess.
Yes, Phaedra. Coming, Phaedra. Can you grab us two ales and a bottle of red to go, Phaedra?
Hey, Silver. Nice of you to join us. We were just going back up though. Sorry to cost you the gold for no reason.
Care to test the carrying capacity on this bucket, lads? Anyone see any warning signs? No... okay then. I wonder if we could cause the bucket to spin on our way up. Let's try!"
Winking at Kes, Vassa jumps into the bucket and squeezing around it as he gives the device a casual once over, says to his two companions,'
"Well, coming? Get it... because we're in a bucket in long shaft. No? I suppose that it would have been funier if there was water down here. My bad. Let's go, eh?"

Breez lets off a quiet chuckle before addressing Phaedra.
"Yes, I can see, but I can assure you, you won't get that from me. Plus, it's nice to have friends you can play around with."
Bason will keep up a stream of consciousness babble about brewing as they work on prepping the ingredients. Once the water starts to boil, he'll add the sage and remove it from the fire. "Gotta let it cool before you add the rest. You don't want to boil off all the flavor!" Bason will test the temperature a few times. Once it reaches the right temperature, he'll add the honey and blackberries, and mix it all together with his Stirring Stick.
((At this point, the subtle smell of sage and fruits will fill the air in the first floor of the tavern.))
Silver just gets in the bucket squeezing next to Vassa "Waste of gold." he says to himself as they ride up.
Shrugging in casual agreement, Vassa hands out the drinks at the bar, but waits for Kes to join them before offering a toast,'
"To friends and adventures, old and new."
With a smile at Breez, the bard says playfully,'
"Probably a good thing we didnt get in a scrap down there... being without our new security and all. Say, please dont take offense, Breez, but are you sure that you wouldnt rather pour ale or wait tables once we get the old Skull up and running? Again, no slight intended, but you just dont look very... fightery, if you take my meaning.
Now, Bason - there's a fellow to give potential trouble-makers pause. Or even our dear Mystran here... when she's frowning all stormclouds and thunder. Ha! Yeah... just like that, Phae."
Finishing his wine, the innocently smiling bard will watch Breez carefully for a response as he gets ready to leave the inn.

After the bucket comes down from carrying Vassa and then Silver up, Kestrell climbs in and signals to be lifted up. Coming to the top, Kestrell takes the proffered ale and says "Thank you. Yes, friends and adventures."
After toasting, Kestrell asks: "What are you all doing back here? I thought you left?"

Again, no slight intended, but you just dont look very... fightery, if you take my meaning.
Breez grabs his staff and moves it next to him, placing one end on the ground and holding it firmly. He let's out a small laugh and looks back at Vassa.
"No offense at all Vassa, I understand your skepticism as we haven't been in a scrap yet, but I can assure you, there is much more to fighting and battles than just being a hulking Goliath and swinging at everything you see. If you, or anyone you choose would like to give me a try out, I'll be more than willing to agree to a duel, and if I do not meet standards, I will humbly accept a job as a janitor, I already got the stick."

Never really entertaining the idea of fighting the genasi himself, Vassa does briefly consider trying to organise a wrestling match between the confident fellow and Yagra, but then recalls that they have two other companions likely waiting for the group at the manor. Smiling at Breez's swagger and willingness to take on all comers, the bard laughs along with the man instead, saying,'
"No such test required, Breez. And that's a fine stick, I must say. Lean and strong, much like its wielder I imagine. I have no doubt that you'll have the opportunity soon to put it to use... and for more than sweeping dust or mopping up spilled ale."
Finishing his glass of wine with a satisfied and theatrically loud smacking of his lips, Vassa looks at Kes to reply with a wink,'
