Vassa finishes the cheesy puff pastry that he was nibbling on and clears his throat, "While I'm not personally keen on being "guided" by or otherwise caught up with the Order of the Gauntlet, they're not a group we need to be too worried about. They're mostly do-gooders looking to bring about peace on Toril, many of whom revere the gods Helm, Torm and Tyr. Godbotherers... you know the sort, Phae.
Savra I've heard much of and even met once in passing. While the Belebrants are esteemed Griffon rearers, Savra herself fell from grace a while back and the tale has it she's determined to make ammends by almost any means necessary. She'd probably even overlook some of our past indiscretions and dubious dealings if working with us meant advancing the Orders' cause. As I hear they're looking to bring stability to Waterdeep amidst this messy gang business, it might pay to at least hear Savra out."
Vassa pats the still wounded Kes on the shoulder as he takes a seat near the bar, looking around for Lif. At some stage during the evening, Vassa will say to Elon,'
"My thanks for your efforts in the Bakers' Guild, Elon. Kes might not be here if not for your actions and that was quick thinking to use thunder to attract our attention. I may still have my reservations about the Black Network... but you're okay with me."
