"Wise move, Silver. In time you'll realise it, I promise. And first drinks are most definitely on me, over which we'll discuss the equitable distribution of party funds."
Hearing Kes speak up, the bard looks at Silver, Raener and Floon with an inquiring gaze, being fairly certain that his companions are up for the challenge. Finally he says,'
"Well, why not? We've come this far and achieved our primary goal, though I must admit to being mostly out of tricks for the day. But I'm very much in the luck pushing mood, myself. But I'll not speak for everyone... this time around, hahaha. What say you? I mean, we already faced down a Kraken!"

"Hey guys," you hear Kestrell call out but you don't see him, "it looks like this tunnel heads North for about 25 feet. There's another loose floor stone there but I didn't want to open it solo. Y'all done with the pissing contest? I'd like to see where this goes."

Catching the book with a not-too-gloating smile, Vassa immediately tosses the tome to Aenio with a nod, and says,'
Vassa will check and double check his crossbow, before winking at Asa and following Kes back to the secret door.
[OOC] Vassa will call out anything suspicious he sees to Kes who seems to have taken point to help check for dangers.

The rest of the party gathers in the room. Asariel and Aenio look to one another and then Asariel speaks up, "I think Aenio and I will stay here until we get an all clear. on the tunnel." Floon nods his head in agreement. Renaer shrugs, "I guess I'll hang back and keep a watch things from this end."

Vassa and Lockbox both join Kestrell in the tunnel and quickly make their way to the end. They carefully lift the stone and peer around. Seeing nothing, Kestrell slides the stone back and leaps up into the room in one fluid motion, just in case. Lowering his head back to the tunnel he speaks quietly, "No one here. Just an empty room, about 10x20. One door on the north east corner."

"Smart, Asa. We'll give you a call when it's clear or you're needed in a hurry."
After feeling a little worn earlier, Vassa feels slighty rejuvenated for some inexplicable reason and moving swiftly to catch up with Kes and Locky the silver-haired bard swings into the room with his crossbow, light levelled ready to fire at the first sign of an enemy.

Silver just sighs as he begins to move drawing his weapons "Alright, let's get this on then." he says moving forward, trying to disappear into the shadows.

Lockbox carefully climbs out of the tunnel, looks around and then walks over and takes up position next to the door.
"Good idea Locky, I'll open the door and you rush in." And with that Kestrell throws the door open and steps back out of the way.
Lockbox rushes into the room, looks around, then pokes his head back into the previous room. "Just stairs."
Kestrell peeks in, confirms it's only stairs, looks back to Vassa and Silver, who's just climbing out of the tunnel. "Think one of you can sneak up there and see what's above us?"

Silver just nods as he begins to move up the stair trying to see what's up there.

Coming up behind Silver, Vassa notices the homely furnishings and other touches of a domestic abode. Raising an eyebrow, the dissapointed bard says to the stealthy trickster,'
"Well, we've found more than our fair share of sewer-to-street exit points. Who knows, maybe the guild of sewer keepers or map makers would pay handsomely for such valuable knowledge."
[OOC] Vassa moves as silently as he can, stealth: 10

As you look around the home you notice the that the size of the furniture is smaller than normal. Then you see a photo and realize that a family of halflings live here. Just as you turn to tell Silver what you've discovered you hear a voice from down the hall, "Take what you will and leave. I'll not fight ye unless you try to come back here where me family is."
