Ragnir feels out the energy within range, there doesn’t seem to be any presence within range.
When the group is gathered in quiet waiting for Ragnir, coming down the far left tunnel. Water lightly splashing and moving. Not from footfall... but some other form of movement is happening.
"Something is happening down this far left path. Should we simply go down it and find out what it is? Tyr can go ahead of us by some feet to scout and gather information." Hermenor suggests.
Look at all the tunnels, the floor is solid stone, a cave tunnel hollowed out by water or some force over time. It’s mostly smooth. But the recent high tide would’ve washed away any foot prints.
the slithering noises stopped in the left tunnel. New noises of the same kind begin in the right tunnel. Murmurs of people talking. Indiscernible from this point with the echos, but it’s definitely talking coming from the middle. If you’re choosing to be stealthy you know it’s going to be tough with the patter of water under each footfall and the echo of the tunnels.
“It might be hard to approach without being noticed. Nonetheless, perhaps we should approach in two groups. The first one will be ahead of the second by some feet. This way, whoever can hear our approach will think all the noise was caused by the first two they see. Then, the other three could take advantage of the fabricated surprise factor by arriving a few seconds later. What do you say?”
Ragnir: (the party) "Sounds good to me, i volunteer to go first, since I'm no good at stealth they'll hear me anyways. The next group can quietly come in after me while i have their attention. Maybe i should take the professor with me since he'll stick out."

"Sounds good." Hermenor then clarifies: "Make sure you clear away from the tunnel passage/opening when you encounter the conversationalists. This way, Tyr and I can run in and hopefully surprise them in case they are hostile. We will be coming from the same tunnel as you guys, just a few feet behind."
Walking through the tunnels in the middle. You’re able to stand side by side except for Honeyton. Every step you take and shift in your armor is amplified by the stone environment. The talking stops after a bit, before you here some more things moving around and being slid. It’s about fifteen minutes before the tunnel begins to open up into a small cavern with one torch lit in the middle as it’s fastened to a stalagmite.
The water on the ground shimmers the pools of water left behind Almost leaving a glare. The cool humid air hangs low in your lungs. Peering around the distance you see two humans working on moving crates around... with the noise of the work and the way sound carries, maybe they didn’t hear you. But then you hear a different noise, something more unique, something you’ve heard back at the start in all three tunnels. A third human head pops out from behind the crates, holding a whip in his hand. As he moves forward, into the light and telling them to keep working. His stride isn’t quite right and you don’t hear footsteps. Instead the the slithering and sliding as you see this person from waste down is a body like a snake. As it slithers around with precision and agility, watching over the other two workers.
(just Priton and Ragnir see this at this point. Hermenor and Tyr will have to rely upon hearing anything, or have to catch up)
"Hey mate, mind if I can have a chat with ya's. Don't care whatcha doing down here, were more concerned about someone specific." Priton says as he reaches out his hand to the Shan'ti
