Tyr after he is freed will just begin to stare at his companions and then around the room taking it in "Thank you - anyone find any possible way out of here?" he asks as he begins an investigation of the room for anything useful in arming themselves or getting out of there.
Priton points to the exit he saw as he looks around for some small knife "If we find something we must kill this man, I do not wish to imagine the horrors these things want to do to him, and likely to us if we were unable to get out." Priton says as he looks for anything sharp or weaponlike (Investigation: 6 )

Looking around the room Tyr confirms the two exits previously found. Looking for weapons you see all the surgical scalpels and knives (equate to daggers). There are a few items around that could be makeshift weapons as well.
Professor Honeyton looks upon the set of tools and the book. "Should we take this with us? We might be able to use it for leverage." Honeyton suggests curiously, as a means of possibly using the book as a form of exchange at some point.
"I say we take the book, hopefully they need it or it will at least make it take a little longer for them to do this.." Priton says as he grabs the book

You’ve combed and picked apart the room of everything you’ve seen so far. So far you’ve left all the concoctions and material supplies, but taking the book and knives. You don’t know how intelligent those creatures were, but were probably smart enough to keep you out of the same room with your supplies. They might’ve stripped everything off of you before you were tossed into this room. It would have been just as easily tossed down the drain in the middle of the room.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Tyr just secures the knives and then walks over to all possible exists checking for traps and type of locks "No idea - though if it were me I wouldn't keep them immediately near us either."

investigation on the first door and the complexity of its lock: 11
investigation on the second door and the complexity of its lock: 23
Tyr find that the lock on the door is solid, but pretty common, nothing he hasn’t seen before. There is no lock on the grate, just the table that needs to be moved from on top of it.
"Let us just get out of here, and we can replace and get back our things later. I would rather have help with this than die trying to get our things back, also tyr if I could have one of those knives." Priton says as he looks sadly at the body and reaches out for one of the daggers

Looking through the grated window on top of the door. You recognize the room as the one where you had your battle. Purple glowing crystal with a pit in the middle. Bucket machine in the center with an abandoned wheel crank. You begin to see on the near edges of your vision a small movement of water coming in from the direction you came. Maybe an inch high creating a tiny waterfall into the abyss. Apparently you’ve been out long enough the tide has started to come back in.
"Wait, is there anything we could use to destroy that, it may make our passage safer if that is destroyed but it would have to be fast." Priton says pointing to the water

Taking a glance through the window and the stone still looks chipped and slightly damaged from your previous attacks. The room continues to look empty otherwise. The door is locked.

"Oh, I see. You mean to destroy the purple crystal." Hermenor was slow to catch on (no, not his player, shut up!)
"If you give me a boost, and the room is indeed empty, I can punch it a couple of times and then we run!" the fighting sailor offers.
Hermenor looks at the crystal hoping to see if it looks pretty damaged already.
