So right now, you’ve rifled around the room able to arm yourselves with make shift weapons. There is a locked door with a purple glow coming through and looks like the same room where you fought the snake people. The door is locked to get into there, but Tyr (or anyone else) should be able to use some tools to pick the lock. There is also the grate underneath the table the leads downwards via a ladder. That trap door isn’t locked.
"That may work. I was hoping to see if there were salmon in the water. I'm quite famished." Professor Honeyton says as he glances down to his stomach. "I'd hate to have to resort to eating one of you." he says jokingly.
It doesn’t take much force at all and is quite easy for Honeyton to move the table off to the side. The table legs begin to screech against the stone floor. Lifting the grate up giving access to the ladder below.
looking down it’s very dark, but seems to be a faint purple glow as well. In the glow you see glimmers of shine on the ground below.
Heading down into the dark abyss. The ladder is covered with some sort of gel. While making it slippery, you all make it down safe. During the climb you find scratch marks, dents, and scrapes from what is otherwise smooth carved stone. It’s a difficult landing however because the floor is covered with heaps of equipment, armor, and weapons. Everything is covered in the same gel type material.... smelling caustic, burning your nostrils. There is an open corridor in the same direction where the door once stood upstairs
Relatively easy to find, being thrown on top. You get your stuff while wiping whatever chemical is all over it off. You also find some chain mail armor, two short swords, an emerald amulet, and 145 worth of gold. Everything is covered in this slime. But you have only searched the top 1/3 approximately. Would you like to spend more time digging through the stuff?
everyone is able to get their stuff back. Glancing over you don’t see anything else. It will take some time to actually go through it all. About 20 - 40 minutes for the rest of the pile.
Tyr looks to his companions "I think maybe we should focus on getting out of here alive and coming back for help."
OOC:
Was the purple crystal outside Door 1 or Door 2? or do they both lead to that room?
Campaigns:
Wildemount: The Felderwin Irregulars (2020) - Balassar Silverstone - Dragonborn Fighter (Rune Knight) Lv. 5 | Dangerous Designs - Kaelen Stoneshard - Minotaur Cleric (War Domain) Lv. 2 | Rise of TIamat - Aiwin Aralana - Wood Elf Fighter/Ranger (Arcane Archer/Gloom Stalker) Lv. 9
There is only one door. One door and one grate on the floor leading to a ladder going down. The purple glow is coming from the door.
Ragnir: (to the party) "Don't worry Tyr, im with you."

Professor Honeyton staggers over to where the grate in the floor is. "We should see where this leads." he suggests as he places a paw onto the grate.

"Not that I disagree with you, Professor, but should we really go down a drain when the tide is coming in?" Hermenor ponders.
"Would you rather deal with those snakes again or get a little wet?" Professor Honeyton says sarcastically.
DM: Waterdeep: Dragon Heist
"I was hoping to either escape through the front door quietly, or hit the stone and run for our lives." Hermenor shrugs.

Out of curiosity, Hermenor will spend a few seconds digging through the mountain of discarded equipment to see if he finds anything interesting.
