The next morning Gash informs the others of the brazier he wants and with no objections he takes enough of the party funds to go purchase it from the magic shop. Once in “I’m here for that Brazier! The magical one! Will you refund me the previous brazier or am I just a fool with two braziers?”

Gash- Lvl14 Goblin Wizard - The High Court of the Aasimar Queen
Morning breaks late in Taur, the sun taking longer to rise over the mountains than anyone is used to. But the day begins and the shops open. At The Crystal Maze, Bolaz (11) offers to buy back the mundane brazier at full price, since Gash is making such an extravagant purchase on the magical one.
At the armorer, Haliani refers Dog to the Crate and Table for a child carrier. "They can connect you with a local seamstress who can fashion one for you."
At the Crate and Table, Ferlienni (8) says he thinks he has one available, and ducks into the back room. He comes out with a carrier that is sized for minotaurs but seems to work for Dog with a little adjustment for Gentoa.
Upon meeting back up with Dog and the others Gash FINALLY feels like he has some time to tell Dog all about the headband.
"Dog, I know you've been trying to talk to me about the headband all of yesterday, it just got hectic and we didn't have a moment to discuss. It's great. I feel, well I feel like me. But you know how I would always tell you I was too dumb -- that as a goblin -- I had a ceiling and after years I had reached it? Now, I've broken through the ceiling! I don't feel inherently smarter b-but my focus... m-my abilities... I feel it. It's strange. I feel enhanced. Like, I feel like I can understand the arcane better, I feel like my notes in my spellshard... that I understand them better and I have already started editing my spells my motions my enchantments -- I can feel it Dog."

Gash- Lvl14 Goblin Wizard - The High Court of the Aasimar Queen
At some point after Gash and Dog finish their conversation, Bulwark will walk up to the two, "Query: Within the labyrinth, many attacks against the constructs had lesser impacts than expected. Do either of you know a way to counteract this in the event of future encounters with beings of similar resilience?"
Dog definitely gets the carrier and lets Genny decorate it however she wants (assuming lots of flowers, colors, etc).
"Sounds great Gregory. I can't wait to try it. Honestly you have always seem so smart and skilled in the arcane to me and you know so much already. It's amazing your ceiling got higher!"
"They make weapons that are enchanted to be quicker, sharper, that kind of thing - or inherently have cold or fire or lightning inside them that can hurt your targets, Bulwark. This place seems to have a great selection and reasonable prices so feel free to use your share of the money we found in the labyrinth to buy some things. If you are going to come on this journey with us it will be hard and the more powerful and equipped you are the better chance we will have. And gold is usually less useful than the useful items they have in these shops. Unless we have to go on a horse shopping spree in the near future, that is."
“On that note I have some news to share as well. I’m always working on my performances, my songs and dances and jokes and tricks, and it is these that allow me to...enhance some of the things I do like fight or distract or provide that extra special pick-me-up. Well, last night I was able to finish two I’ve been working on and I think you’ll find them useful. One is just another out-of-tune melody for fighting, which honestly I could find better use of my time but you do what you have to do. But the other, is a peaceful dance that will put up to three of you asleep. After 10 minutes, you’ll feel like you slept for an hour or two.”
"Oh yes, Bulwark, If I could make a suggestion, if you are going to use that shield we found maybe a nice warhammer or a longsword that has some magic enchantments? We will gladly help you get one before we go!"

Gash- Lvl14 Goblin Wizard - The High Court of the Aasimar Queen
"Deliberation: Perhaps, though a maul is my preferred weapon of choice. I tend to use a shield only when I determine it would be more suitable to possess a greater defense. Regardless, please direct me to the arms merchant."
Tarak nods. "I have a maul, certainly. I will take 125 gold for it. The warhammer I can easily make, but it will take two days. That will be 175 gold."
(Seeing these are classified as rare, not uncommon, so I assume they're be fresh out, but Dog's bored and browsing and figures, "why not have a look?" He'd also look around for a warhammer or battleaxe of returning, with FeyTok on his mind -- it doesn't say if they are uncommon or rare.)
(I think the returning weapons are created by artificers. It says that a prerequisite for them is 8th level artificer.)
Tarak looks pleased. "Yes," he says. "Those weapons are some of my finest work. 2000 gold for the battleaxe. 3000 gold for the longsword or the warhammer."
"Wow, these very nice, thank you for showing me your expert crafting. Unfortunately they're too rich for my blood," Dog says with a chagrined smile. "Perhaps I could return one day."
He's ready to go, after having picked up the carrier and getting Gentoa settled in it. "I'll head over to the gate and try to set up the portal to the road with Taur's finest transportation coordinators."
Just outside the gate, he'll pick up a pebble and put it in the bag of holding.
Once Bulwark decides on his purchase, the party meet at the arch at the edge of town. There, a young minotaur wizard stands. Once given the okay, he mutters some arcane words and, with a slight flourish, opens a glowing green portal under the arch. Stepping through brings the party into a sparsely wooded area at the base of a large mountain. A trio of minotaurs stands around the arrival point. The wizard bows. "Safe travels, honored guests," he says.
One of the guards, face mostly obscured by a helmet, sneers at stones. "Good riddance, 'honored guest'," he says.
The wizard scowls at the guard. "Julat, please," he says. "The road is due east. You will find yourself just North of Hergantenus. Farewell."
Taking out his map, and with a little help from the surrounding landscape, Dog is able to identify where they are and where they are going. The horses are a couple of hours walk from where they stand, but then it will be many days travel along the Long Road to get to Masa.
(Point of clarification: are we supposed to teleport back to just outside of town to pick up the goods in a day? Or back to the place we are now, on the other side of the portal? Either way, Dog picks up another smaller pebble from the ground where they are, and puts it in the bag of holding, resolving to get some kind of classification system going such that)
Dog suggests they get moving, asking Keyrie if she can lead the way to the horses.
"Tock, didn't you say you are from somewhere ahead of us on this map? If we could get closer instantly that would be great. But can we teleport horses and a cart, Gash?"
(OOC: Oh yikes, maybe Stones stays back with the rest of the group in case the minotaur who's Not His Biggest Fan is there and decides not to let us back in or delays things. Or are we able to just say that this bit of travel and good exchange happens in the background, without issue, MD?)

Roll for a +1 Warhammer: 2

While we're there with Bulwark, Dog will browse one last time:
Warhammer +2: 3
Longsword +2: 6
Battleaxe +2: roll]1d10[/roll]
(Fixed code for battleaxe: 2)

(let's say 5 gold for the carrier. I don't think I ever priced it.)
Stones stretches and heads over to the gate, ready for more adventure.

Begin Chapter 6: An Early Winter.
Tock looks at the map and just mutters to himself, "The road indeed is very long."

(It might happen in the background, yes.)
