The direction to the Hunter's Trail is clearly signposted from the exit of the mayors office, heading in that direction, one of you must make a Survival check to try and find footprints, while the rest should make Perception checks.

As soon as the group left the boundaries of the town Mabel increased her pace to separate herself from the bulk of the group. As they approached the Hunter's Trail Mabel's eyes keep darting between the path, the surrounding forest, and the now empty sky. Simultaneously keeping an eye out for something going bump in the night(besides the vampire) and looking for a game trail that had been too well tred to just be used by hunters and their prey.

PbP character Son Kol - Kel Dor Fringer (Shadows of the Republic)
Bimble follows the group cheerfully, chitchatting with them until they lost patience with him. This was Bimble's time! His adventure, his search for knowledge and to record all he sees, hears and feels, his calling in this life was to corroborate with Devinir's task as the Great Scribe, the recorder of all.
So, how did you guys ended up as adventurers? What brings you to the road? Is it the thrill of adventure? The search for riches? To make a name for yourselves? To repent or get revenge?
Bimble tries to take not of everything that is said if allowed. When they are a bit beyond the gates of the city he asks, more as as loud thought then a true question:
Weren't we going to the Gilded Dwarf for more information? Well, we can go there when we are back.
(Perception 1d20+1 = 2)
The only thing Bimble wasn't paying any attention was on the road, lost in all the conversations and annotations.
Still-lock impatient to wait for the others uses crimson rite on his hook blade and moves up between Ps1 and Ps2, attacking ps1 with his hookblade and doing 8 damage it phase spider one
Shariel narrows her eyes at the gruesome spiders blocking their path. In one smooth motion, she swings the longbow off her shoulder, nocks an arrow, and lets it fly, lodging it deep in the abdomen of the first beast. As the spider screeches in pain, her wolf companion, Torbin, rushes in in a blur of gray fur and white teeth, sinking his fangs into one leg. The spider lurches but manages to stay on its many feet.
(8 damage from longbow, 4 damage from Bite attack to PS1)
Ready for the encounter I take out my weapons and run up to the first phase spider, unsheathing them as I run doing a jump above the spider I lunge the scimitars into its sides and cut its limbs off with the momentum taken from the jump over the monster.
--> Everyone be one your guard, though they may seem easy opponents have a habit of getting stronger when you corner them!
With a seemingly smooth move I wipe the spider viscera from my face and start on the next spider.
(attack #1, hit dealing 9 damage, attack #2 hit dealing 8 damage, attack #3 and #4 missed, but i'll chalk that up to trying to look cool while fighting spiders)
Mabel draws her scimitar and cautiously approaches the center spider. Mabel whispers an ancient incantation into her hand. As the Incantation finishes she flings her hand forward releasing a cloud of glowing green gas onto the monsterous spider.
The instant Bimble realizes there were phase spiders on the road he pulls a piece of cured leather and, gesturing in the air and pronouncing arcane worlds a thin sheet of arcane energy surrounds his body.
Try not to destroy their bodies! Their skin looks interesting!
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Brenyax swoops from the air and land in front of the spiders, his greatsword ready. The light reflects on his mithral scales and his silver eyes glow in anticpitacon for combat.
"Sorry for the delay companions " he says with his cavernous voice " I was delayed at the Temple. Here. Let me help you with this vermin"
He then attacks the nearest spider moving his sword from below to high.
`[OOC: Sorry for the delay frineds. I don't know why I wasn't gettin gupdates from this thread.
The second phase spider runs over to Mabel, and attempts (and fails) to attack her. The third phase spider retaliates against Brenyax landing a solid blow [Attack roll 22, Damage roll 9], who must now make a Constitution saving throw (DC 11) taking 16 poison damage on a failed save or half as much on a success. The two remaining spiders seem to vanish as soon as their attacks are made.
STATUS Phase Spider 1: Dead Phase Spider 2: 5 Damage taken, Ethereal Phase Spider 3: 15 damage taken, Ethereal Brenyax: 25 (or 17) damage taken
As I start off in the direction of brenyax I stop charging and swivel in confusion as the phase spiders fade away from where they were a moment ago.
--> See it seems they can go invisible or something, everyone get on guard!
As I say this my eyes close and I ready my weapons to attack whatever strays near me, trusting my honed instincts to guide me to the weakness's of my enemies.

Feeling dizzly as the venom enters his bloodstream, Brenayx roars, trying to fix his sight, now clouded, on the spider. He felt the venom burning his muscles and veins as it spread throught his bloodstream.
He retreats a couple of steps, ready to defend himself in case of another attack from the creature. He mutters a pray feeling the warm presence of his patron easing his pain.

Moving to stand behind Stillock, Bimble can't keep his amazement: Oh my! I think this are phase spiders! I never saw one alive! How interesting!
When he arrives behind Stillock, Bimble almost draws his book to start recording the situation, but better judgement crosses his mind and he decides to wait for this little altercation to be done.
As the phase spiders vanish, Shariel narrows her eyes and surveys the battlefield, straining her senses for a glimpse or whisper of her enemies. She draws a second arrow and nocks it on her longbow, ready to fire at the first sign of their return. "Stand ready! The spiders could be anywhere when they return!" She whistles for Torbin, who releases the dead spider from his jaws and paces back and forth, whining and sniffing the air for their remaining enemies.
Lovely, Dissapearing Spiders, Still-Lock says with a low growl in their voice, readying my Hookblade, light glancing off the blades as I await for the next attack.
Glancing Behind me I see Bimble seeming to have an internal fight with themself, Are you ok back there? A growl again in my voice.
Mabel stepped back as the spider phased from existence. She kept her scimitar at the ready and keeping her eyes open in all directions looking for the spider to come back, ready to strike the spider if it came back into range.
